I haven't had Pizza Hut in AGES (probably 10 years); however, I jumped on the free medium pizza offer when it was available. We built our own medium pizza with traditional crust, regular sauce/cheese, pepperoni, and a parmesan crust. Wow was the parmesan crust delicious! It was by far one of the best crusts I have ever eaten! The pizza was very good too, a little too much sauce in some areas, but overall it was very impressed with the pizza as a whole... I don't remember it being so good. The only thing I would say is that since it was a carry out, I did get a glimpse at the interior of the shop and it was extremely outdated. The interior still looks the same as it did 20 years ago when I would go with my cousins. read more

Out and about and passing this Pizza Hut decided to stop. Not too many around these days. My boyfriend used to love Pizza Hut and often share our stories about pizza hut.. that's where everyone would go to eat before them movies-- back in the day etc. I remember my mother taking me and my brother and sister to our local pizza hut on the weekends and it was such a treat. There was always just a good vibe in the restaurants. I always loved that they served Pepsi other than Coke. I remember some locations even had a jukebox in them! Walking into this one - it was a flash back for sure. Pizza Hut's always gave me a cozy feeling.. it has to be the color of the décor and lighting too. I got the same feeling. Even though it was barely noon and only a few patrons inside the restaurant - we were greeted right away when we walked in the door. We ordered the cheese sticks with sauce for appetizer.. always good!! I always loved the personal pan pizzas so I ordered one of those - 4 cut. My bf ordered the thin and crispy. I was disappointed when my pizza came on a plate instead of in the small round black hot pan that it used to come in.. pipping out and crispy around the edges. This was nothing like that.. It was cooked but a little doughy and "not" crispy around the crust edges. Maybe the way they cook personal pan pizzas changed? My boyfriend shared his pizza - which was delicious. My cousin just ordered a Philly cheese, three lava cakes, Alfredo chicken and parmesan garlic bites! When my family was waiting for the food taking forever! Once we have gotten the food I noticed the Alfredo chicken was scared in the container. The main event was the pizza and we noticed there was no beef meat on there and it was pork bacon instead(We don't eat pork). My mother call in and they hanged up on her the first time. The second time that she called in the manager was loud and very rude to her. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone because of the horrible service. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered two pizzas and two set of wings. My pizza literally had no cheese on one and barley any on the other, the wings were just sitting in wet sauce, they weren't battered like normally either. That's the one thing a pizza place shouldn't skimp on is the cheese. I call and I waited on hold for almost an hour. When I finally get on the phone with a manager ( which I had to call from another number to get answer) I tell her the issues she offered to replace and send it out. I was told 45 min. waited almost two hours. Will I order again from this location .. probably not tbh. read more

I want to start this review off with a laugh, simply because I've tried and tried with this place and my order is never right or they're always out of something. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. I attempted to order the Big Flavor Dipper for a small get together and was immediately given a snotty look and told "We don't have that right now." Ok... So, I then attempt to order some stuffed garlic knots. I was met with the same dull look and response of, "We have garlic knots, but we're out." First of all, how on earth does a common pizza joint "run out" of PIZZA?! I'm guessing they wait until they're out of everything before restocking (I mean, let's be real, I get that it can/does happen, but this is a CONSTANT for this particular location). Or how about the time I ordered a basic pep pizza and was given RAW dough? Or the time before that I ordered a Hershey's cookie and it was hard as a rock (ha, maybe I was given a day old reject)? Long story short, save your money, your teeth, your intestines, and go to another PH location or Domino's. Or Cici's. Or buy $1 frozen one at the grocery store. So I ordered a pizza with salami and meatballs online. They attempted to call me to say they had no meatballs but my phone was in the other room and I did not hear the call. I called them back and asked if they could add beef instead. So the lady gets to my door (a little late but I really don't blame them) and gave us an extra pizza for the confusion. Now I had also ordered a Diet Pepsi which they did not deliver but since we got free pizza. Later she delivers the soda and said the manger added a $10 credit for us. Busy evening, placed delivery order, arrived on time but opened the box to find soggy uncooked pizza. Tried for 15 minutes to call the store and kept getting Dallas where the calls are forwarded to. Dallas stated that when the stores are busy they forward their calls to the call center, understandable..evening....dinner time...understandable. Took the pizza to the store on our way out. Got to the store, empty parking lot, one mother and child were entering as a family of 4 was leaving. Requested the manager, described my plight and she stated that when they are busy the calls are forwarded. I looked around the restaurant and there was NO ONE but the one woman and child standing behind me. I looked at the manager and stated that was the worse excuse I have ever heard since the restaurant was EMPTY!!! I confirmed with a delivery guy that they were slow so what was the problem. A lazy manager that didn't want to be bothered by customers so she was having the calls forwarded. She gave me my money back and didn't even apologize, classy... On the flip side, I tweeted about my experience and corporate responded immediately! They apologized and sent me a $20 gift card, kudos to corporate for taking care of this quickly. Utterly disgusting. I was stranded in Pittsburgh thanks to Delta and booked a hotel up the street from this Pizza (the) Hutt. Since I didn't have a car and University Blvd's sidewalks were covered in snow, I figured I'd walk next door and get some pizza. Ordered a Meat Lover's of sorts and it was just disgusting. Don't bother!!! We were seated immediately after another table (party of 4). They were given drinks and ordered. Not one person offered even drinks to us (party of 2). We were the only 2 tables occupied. Employees standing around doing nothing. After 15 minutes we left. Nobody even seemed to care that we were leaving. Will never be back to this location. read more

They make the best pizzas. They always put enough tops and aren't stingy with it. The best time to go get or order a pizza is when Gabby is manager. Everything fresh, hot and ready. She's friendly and they aren't bullshitting in the back. I sometimes take trips up there with friends for the pizza and I live 15 minutes away. I've got your money's worth every single time! My wife ate here a few hours ago. She now has the WORST case of food poisoning. We will never eat here again!

I have had delivery from this place on multiple occasions and it always takes them at least 30 minuets to get to my dorm room even though we are literately five minuets down the boulevard from them. Last time I called for delivery they didn't have a driver so I had to go and get it myself. The most recent occasion of our bout with the delivery from Pizza Hut I ordered a serving of cheesy bread and an order of regular bread sticks, so I could meet the delivery minimum of ten dollars. The driver came about 40 minuets later with only the order of cheesy bread. He said he "forgot" the other order of bread sticks and had to go back. Nine minuets later I receive a call from Pizza Hut saying that the order of bread sticks were not on my receipt and they wanted me to pay AGAIN for the food I had already paid for and not received. I told them I had left my credit card in the room as I sat outside in the cold to wait. I currently am STILL waiting for the food I ordered about an hour ago. I would not order from here if you are hungry at the moment of ordering, or even if you want it in fifteen minuets from now for a party. You are going to have a way better chance going to Pizza Roma. The food is better there anyway. read more

This store is the worst ever 2 weeks ago I ordered a decent amount of food. I get to the store for pickup and they had given my order to someone else and asked if I wanted them to remake I suggested yes so it was fresh. I said yes thinking it was 1 of the multiple pizzas I ordered they redid the entire order the lady was frantic I felt bad that she made the whole order again. She was apologetic about the situation no big deal everything was ok I get in my car to leave and grab a chicken wing and it is not even cooked at all. So I go back into the store and show them the uncooked chicken they just sent me out with. So I have now wasted an hour with hungry people at home she remade the chicken and said she applied a $20 credit to my account I just have to CALL in my next order. I called in my order waited an hour to pick it up get to the store they says it's 40 something bucks I stated I had a credit and they say yea it was applied already. How in the HELL is it over 40 bucks for 2 cheese and 3 pepperoni pizzas with a $20 credit? They required me to call it in and they over charge the crap out of you when you call it in versus online this is ridiculous and I will not be going back to a Pizza Hut again if I were you I would avoid this place go to dominos instead. read more
