    Free Pizza!
    Katelynn G.

I haven't had Pizza Hut in AGES (probably 10 years); however, I jumped on the free medium pizza offer when it was available. We built our own medium pizza with traditional crust, regular sauce/cheese, pepperoni, and a parmesan crust. Wow was the parmesan crust delicious! It was by far one of the best crusts I have ever eaten! The pizza was very good too, a little too much sauce in some areas, but overall it was very impressed with the pizza as a whole... I don't remember it being so good. The only thing I would say is that since it was a carry out, I did get a glimpse at the interior of the shop and it was extremely outdated. The interior still looks the same as it did 20 years ago when I would go with my cousins.

Meat lovers stuffed crust pizza and Breadsticks

When my boyfriend craves Pizza Hut, we order Pizza Hut! We were on our way home from an event and decided to order a stuffed crust pizza with breadsticks in the car. The website is very user friendly and gave the option of carry out pizza. Our order was predicted to be done in 10-20 minutes. Eight minutes later, we were in the parking lot and checked in online. Our pizza was brought out almost immediately! We were so impressed with how quick it came out! Quick and satisfying dinner!

I love this Pizza Hut. Distance-wise, it's the third closest to me, but I travel the extra 2 miles because they consistently make their pizzas right! Look at this amazing super supreme I received today!

    pizza

My cousin just ordered a Philly cheese, three lava cakes, Alfredo chicken and parmesan garlic bites! When my family was waiting for the food taking forever! Once we have gotten the food I noticed the Alfredo chicken was scared in the container. The main event was the pizza and we noticed there was no beef meat on there and it was pork bacon instead(We don't eat pork). My mother call in and they hanged up on her the first time. The second time that she called in the manager was loud and very rude to her. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone because of the horrible service.

Enjoyed the retro look of this Pizza Hut. Got order to go and it was hot and fresh. Highly recommend.

When I said the…read morewedding soup was meh, he offered to replace it with something else, but I said it was fine. Not bad. Still edible. Later, when he asked about the manicotti & I said it was amazing, he asked if it was better than the soup. I said it was much much better and that I knew next time I visited I'd get the Caesar salad instead of the soup. He said he'd bring one to go, since their Caesar dressing is amazing. I said that wasn't necessary, but he brought one anyway. Wow. Portions are very large (without the extra salad, my manicotti would still be three meals for me) & the food is delicious. I like the look of the restaurant and was surprised to see that they had TV's & a bar. Much nicer than I expected given the location.

Ate here recently for dinner and our party of 4 disliked literally everything we ordered, from the…read moreapps to the entrees. A couple of us were really excited to try the chicken parm, but we were quickly disappointed by the lack of flavor (very, very bland) and how thick the pieces of chicken were. Our server was very attentive when we first arrived, but as our meal went on, she was no where to be found for drink refills, to check in, etc. In fact, we had to wait a good 20 minutes after we were finished eating for her to appear so we could ask for the check. Choosing to eat here ended up being a regret and waste of money. We spent over $100 for a meal that I honestly could have done a better job cooking at home...and I'm not even that great of a cook! Needless to say, we won't be back and don't recommend wasting your time and money here.

Downey's House provided the local spot I needed. An ice cold Yuengling on draft went down very well, and while I didn't find pierogis on the menu, I settled for a phenomenal bowl of spaghetti & meatballs. Local marinara & meatballs made with the same recipe of the old Main Hotel that was in Carnegie for nearly 100 years. That bowl of pasta was SCRUMPTIOUS and just what I was after. I even talked my lovely wife into doing up her salad 'Pittsburgh style', which means adorning the salad with fries. And yes, it's as good as it sounds. Thrown in a protein like grilled chicken and that is a banger of a meal. Great dining area with a square-shaped bar and TVs with sight-lines in any direction. The service is friendly and helpful, and prices are probably lower than at some chain-y eatery that just makes your food via assembly line. It's local and sensational!

It may surprise some to know how many times I've hung out in Pittsburgh in the last 16 years or so,…read morebecause I've never been to a Primanti Bros. before. But then again, I am vegetarian, so I didn't think they offered anything for me. I've looked at the menu online more than once, and didn't see any sandwiches designated vegetarian each time. But I was meeting a friend before a concert on the RMU campus, and this was conveniently located 1 mile away, and it had food and beer. I kept an open mind and figured, I'll just modify one of their sandwiches. When I arrived, I learned they also have a pizza option. But I still thought... when in Rome... There was a black bean option listed on their wall menu, but the waitress double-checked for me and we learned together that they use to offer that option, but no longer do. Damn. There was however a cheese (no meat) option on the menu, which I was surprised wasn't on the online menu. But I'll take it! Their sandwiches are interesting in that instead of sides of french fries and cole slaw, the sides are just stacked into the sandwich to make it a quick easy convenient meal! The draft beer selection was good, the sandwich was decent enough, and the service was great (weekday evening). In the end, I am not sure I'd run back for my one sandwich menu option, maybe I'd try their pizza, or go for some sides, or just stop in for a beer on my way to my next show. I enjoyed the vibe and most everthing about the place, but the sandwich was just okay.

I just was not thrilled. You definitely have to expect a weird experience if you want to enjoy the food here. I also ordered a slice of cheese pizza just in case I didn't like the sandwich. Unfortunately I didn't like the pizza even more. Lol. Live and learn. I still get three stars because there were totally nothing wrong with the Pitts-burger except I didn't like it. The pizza was not good though. The customer service was pretty decent though. So pops for that.
