From what we directly observed, the seating process did not appear first-come, first-served. It appeared selective. Transparency matters, and so does basic courtesy when guests ask legitimate questions. Ten minutes after we finally left--after waiting over an hour--we were told our table was ready. Alcoholic beverages (e.g., cocktails, wines, and beers) are also available. For my husband's and my wedding anniversary, I made a reservation for Arlecchino through OpenTable. We arrived shortly after they opened for the day. Our first impressions: Valet was required for our vehicle. We felt interested in seeing the exterior and remodeled interior of the schoolhouse. Most of the restaurant was empty then, but the seating hostess took us to the worst table--the smallest table inches from the front door. I requested a different table, and she then gave us a much better one. OpenTable had said that the dress code was business casual, but other customers wore casual clothes, and a hostess wore shorts and a baggy sweatshirt hoodie. Veal monzu - 4 stars - The veal was nicely breaded and fried and topped with mozzarella, jumbo lump blue crab, pine nuts, and lemon butter. My husband ate it, and my one taste-test bite indicated that it was flavorful. My husband was not interested in trying dessert, so we skipped it. So here we go: the restaurant is several generations of ownership. When you walk in, you will be greeted by very gregarious young lady by the name of Taylor and she is part of the family who owns the restaurant. The restaurant is very modern with open space seating. When you walk in, there is a gelato station right there. The Staff is very attentive very engaging and very accommodating to your needs. Let's get into the food. The calamari you see in the picture was heavily breaded and the oil it was deep-fried in was old, so it clumped everything together, and you got more of a burnt breaded taste than the ability to taste the calamari not good at all. I had the pasta Primavera that was cooked perfect and the spices were out of this world. It had some heat. I had their tomato salad with hot peppers and anchovies. The salad was good. My critique on this would be the tomatoes they weren't ripe and juicy as described in the menu. Would I go back yes but it wouldn't be my top priority, but worth a try.
