    Small pizza 6 slices
    Roxanne S.

Came in before a concert! My fiancé suggested we come in because he's had pizza from here before and knew I HAD to try it. Ordered a small pizza (6 slices) we got half tomato half sausage. It blew my mind with how good this pizza tasted. Only was a 15 minute wait. Even the crust was great and i'm not a big crust eater. You can tell they aren't stingy with their toppings by my photo. The workers were vibing in the shop to some music and the guy at the counter was friendly. You can tell they all work well together with the flow they've got down. A woman who is a regular there left her wallet and the counter guy immediately called to let the husband know to call his wife and tell her to come back in to get it. Honesty is the best policy. I talked about this pizza for 3 days.

    Pepperoni slice.

Stopped to place a takeout order. This location does not offer dine in options. Was the typical atmosphere of a busy pizza place on a Saturday night. But staff was very friendly and helpful. I chose to go with two already made slices and the "Juggernaut" hoagie. The hoagie only comes in one size, 6 inches. Honestly if it was bigger it would just be a separate meal. This hoagie is huge. They load ham, turkey, bacon, French fries, American, Swiss, lettuce, tomato and shantz sauce into a 6" bun which was fresh and just stiff enough to hold the ingredients in place. The plain and pepperoni slices had equally balanced ingredients, with a light and crispy crust that was on the thinner side. The pepperoni was proportionate so it could be included in every bite. I only wish they put the slices in the oven to warm them up.

This is a pizza that's bad, but it's not bad enough to not eat. You just feel poorly about yourself for eating it, but you ordered pizza from McKees Rocks, so you deserve it. It's burnt crust and under cooked toppings, I guess that's how they do it in Sicily.

    Well done Sicilian pepperoni pizza

If you're in the Rocks, this is where you eat pizza, simple. There are some good ones now but Doughboy's is it!

While they offer a variety of items (salads, subs, ribs, etc) they are known for their wings and their variety of wing rubs and sauces. Both times we visited, we got a variety of different wing flavors and their fresh cut fries. Everything was delicious. I will say that we both preferred the wing sauces over the dry rubs. We felt the sauces had more flavor than the dry rubs. But the wings were cooked perfectly. The fries are fresh cut so you can't beat that! The customer service there is also really great. The staff make you feel like you've known them for years. I've already recommended Wiggy's to a few people who were in search of good wings. Definitely glad I checked this place out!

Bonus points for being in Mount Washington, which allowed us to ride the Monongahela Incline up and the Duquesne Incline down. Yes it was a bit of a walk but Bigham Tavern was worth it! It was a Monday night, so there was also live music. Crowd was reasonable and we were seated at a comfortable table with a good view of the television. Our waitress was awesome, so patient! Her patience was tested because we don't drink much and wanted to order the food gradually throughout the game. We benefited from happy hour pricing for a tasty pickle dip and glasses of wine. We added some outstanding wings, so many great flavors to choose from! Next phase was an outstanding gluten free pesto and mozzarella pizza! Crust was too good to be true! The game was rough at first but turned around in time for me to order the Big Ham sandwich with a side of kale salad. The sandwich was delicious and served on a pretzel bun. The kale salad was an awesome side dish, tons of flavor! The game kept improving and we enjoyed the rest of it in the bar area with some great fans. Lots of televisions. Great neighborhood vibe!
