When I think of pizza buffets the first (and usually only) name that pops into my head is Cici's, although distant memories of Double Dave's may come to mind if I think hard enough. What I don't think of is Pizza Hut, especially this Azle location which is far from my usual haunts for pizza. Nevertheless, we found ourselves here at lunch time ravenous enough to (over)indulge in their pizza buffet. They have pasta, a few varieties of breads with some red sauce for dipping - be warned, it's VERY sweet! - salad, and of course plenty of pizza. They even have a dessert pizza. However, I can't give feedback on that because I was too stuffed to even think about trying it. Everything else tasted just as good as if it had been custom made. In other words, they didn't sacrifice ingredients or care in order to mass produce the food. The staff was also on top of keeping the buffet area clean and restocked. The buffet here may be smaller and more expensive than Cici's but that doesn't mean it isn't worth it. Quality over quantity is the name of the game. If I'm in the area again and in the mood for pizza I would definitely return. read more

I have to say I've read quite a few reviews that were less than complimentary and I was surprised. I have never been a huge Pizza Hut fan. One step further, I've never been a fan of large chain pizza restaurants, in general. With that said, my wife and I were in the area a week or so ago and dropped in for the lunch buffet. We came back today and I decided to post my thoughts... Food - The food is commensurate for the cost. They won't be getting a Michelin star any time soon, but it was good enough to come back the following week. It's the reason I only gave this place 4 stars. Service - We've only been here for lunch, but both times the staff has been friendly and attentive. They're constantly either tending to the buffet, cleaning or checking on their patrons. The staff is awesome. Ambiance - It doesn't look like much outside, but inside it was very surprising to see they have a bar area (albeit small) and they keep the music at a decent level. Larry Marshal should be ashamed of this Pizza Hut. I didn't even get a picture of the other order of wings that I had because I had to add sauce just so my kid could eat his dinner. Apparently this is TWO orders of Cajun fries that look sad af. I'd recommend any other pizza place in Azle other than Pizza Hut. And what's worse is we paid $70 for this sad mess. read more

Service is absolute garbage. My father took my daughters there tonight and was seated at a table with chairs, when they asked to move to a booth which 5 were available the entire time they were dining they were told no because that's were the other girl told her to seat them. Also they were overcharged for there pizza and didn't receive the discount for $5 pizza Thursday. I was unaware that the customer needs to tell the employees what the pricing is. I would never recommend anyone eating there the food was subpar also. I wouldn't want to judge someone for there personal believes but one of the employees was wearing upside down cross kneck laces, which seems strange for a family restaurant. If you would like to be treated like trash then Pizza Hut in Azle is the place for you. read more

Love the all you can eat pizza buffet here at lunch on weekdays. The service is great and they really have a good salad.

I have several friends that have worked there , the management sucks , they don't train their crew. They just expect their employees to automatically know what they're supposed to do then they fire them if they mess up a couple times. Get ur management together and maybe ur whole team will do better. Wish I had their corporate and or owner of the stores number. They need to hire a better management team. Common sense. read more

The best pizza ever! My husband the pizza Man tries pizza every where Austin, Dallas, San Antonio. etc... Pizza joints ran by Italians, Romanians, Albanians and the like. And then there is the foo foo Pizza joints!( he is from up north so of course our pizza is lame to him) I like my Azle Pizza Hut!! Lots of toppings and cheese and if it is a Texas style Pizza and not Chicago or New York ,,,oh well. The deep dish or pan, super supreme is my favorite. Ordered two pizzas for carryout. Given a 15 minute lead time. As it was Easter Sunday night, I gave them an extra five minutes. I arrived, no pies. Checked the phone number, I was in the right place. No order in their computer. No offer to make things right, and barely an apology. Delivery orders stacked up on the shelf, too. Headed over to Dominos. We first came here 6 days ago and today was our third visit. We really love the food but even more we love the servers! Today we had Zarya. She was very friendly which is so nice. We drive from Springtown just to eat here mostly because of the service but I can't say enough about the food either. I love the spaghetti and meatballs and my wife loves the wings. We also get personal pans to take home as well for another meal and they are really wonderful. I highly recommend this location, the management has to be top notch. read more

Never, have I ever been so mistreated as a customer. I am a REGULAR customer placing 2 orders a week. I placed an order online, called to check on it, they said it was out. I waited, called again and they said it came back. I placed the order over the phone with the gentleman, and he told me how I couldn't add cheese breadsticks to the order or pasta (which you can online, an inconsistency) so I had to ADD the extra cheese breadsticks, I also wanted extra cheese on the cheese breadsticks he said he could not do this. Although, I just ordered this in the restaurant last weekend, they tell me that they cannot do this. (ANOTHER, Inconsistency..) When ready to checkout the guy couldn't even get my credit card number right. He asked if I would like to speak with his manager. I did speak with CHEYENNE who proceeded to talk to me like a dog. We have been to this Pizza Hut many times since moving to the area in Sept last year. We have had a few problems, but that is expected with as much as we go out. Things happen. BUT in general things are always great here. We have been served by many different servers here and have enjoyed getting to know them. The food is consistently good. I love that you can now get the stuffed crust in a medium! A few of my kiddos love the Alfredo pasta and gets it every time we let them. :) read more

Although I would love to write a good review for my neighborhood Pizza Hut, I cannot. More than once I have gone in during a slow time when hardly anyone is in there, just to stand and stand and never be seated when I am with my boyfriend, who is Native American. We are middle aged people, not kids. We are quiet, tax paying citizens of this community. I raised my daughter through this school system and we know many people in the community. It's ridiculous to be treated like trash at a local eatery when all we want to do is sit down and eat. Yesterday I was within two feet of the waitress who was serving the ONE table in the empty restaurant and she didn't even look up to acknowledge us- the other girl who was at the far end of the place kept scrubbing an empty table and also never acknowledged us, nor did anyone else. When we got home, my friend called and the "manager" apologized way claiming that they were extremely busy and didn't mean to ignore us....oh really? One table at 1:45 on a weekday and u were extremely busy?!? Bull. Similar thing happened a few months ago to us when we sat and sat and sat because no one would Serve us. And the place wasn't packed then either. Hey I'm perfectly capable of cooking and have done so for decades, but having starting over and all and dating again in my stage of life, it would be nice to go out once in awhile and be treated with good customer service like I remember it is supposed to be like. read more

Can't beat Monday $5 Pizza, $5 pitchers of beer, and $5 wings!

We eat Pizza Hut on occasion and it's normally great. We expected the same from the Azle location.... Well we were wrong the customer service was terrible they didn't even have the tables set up at 11:30 no tongs or spoons or serving utensils at the buffet line so people were using there hands. The pizza was like warm at best, I expect better especially since they opened less then 30 min before. The lights were turned all the way down. On top of all that our server seemed like she was still asleep or high. Not friendly at all and came by once to get out drink order them dropped out check 5 min later as she slowly snail Walked her way to our table. Very disappointed in this location. Unfortunately, ordering from this place is a necessary evil in this town when it comes to delivery options. Countless times I have had to contact the store, their corporate office, or take to Twitter (which is an awesome way to get a resolution btw) because of their constant screw ups. So, if you do order delivery, be prepared for the delivery guy to make multiple trips because he forgot part of the order, bring your own pen to the door, and have their number on speed dial because their is a good chance that your oder is going to be wrong. The good part is that when they do screw up, if contact corporate you'll usually get your money back or get a free pizza for your troubles. read more

I LOVE my Pizza Hut/Azle. We usually order delivery but HATE the delivery charge PLUS tip. I refuse to stiff the driver just because Pizza Hut is greedy by adding a delivery charge too. We had a great experience here, our first visit. The manager greeted us, seated us and started to wait on us as the only server working was busy. We needed a few minutes and then Sarah promptly arrived apologizing. There was no need as we were still deciding. Service was timely, attentive and friendly. She accidentally forgot to put part of our order in and explained her mistake before we even knew there was an issue and that she'd already taken it off our bill. Volunteered to-go teas. I came to pizza hut with my family on wensday night and was told by the hostess that there are not any clean tables that we could either wait or leave. I realize that it was 20 mins till close but that is bad business. We had seven people. The manager ce over after we were waiting for a few mins and asked if we had been helped. When I walked in the cashier looked at me like I was crazy for asking where the salad bar was? This is the first Pizza Hut I have been to without a salad bar. My boyfriend and I both ordered a side garden salad. When they brought it to us, the lettuce was wilted to a dark brown. The pizza was good and the service was nice! For my drive thru experience it was ok. I ordered 15 min ahead online but still had to wait 25 more min for my order. Parked in front of the store as I was asked to, just like the customer behind me. After I waited for 25 min or so the fellow customer behind me went back to the drive thru and grabbed his pizzas as they were ready and done. I waited in the front to see how long they'd take to bring me my order and probably sat there for a good 10 min or less.
