I used to really like this place and would choose them over Domino's, but what the heck happened??!! I had the combo but surprisingly, it didn't have much flavor. I think it was the lack of flavor in the pizza sauce. We ended up throwing the majority of it away. :( Management might want to tell the staff to tidy the place up a bit, too; wasn't very clean or inviting. read more

Pizza Guys is one of the best pizza in town, hands-down and great customer service too. The owners Jason and Manny run a great store here in Turlock. They are quick, proficient and they deliver a delicious products. I couldn't even get a photo in before I decided to try the pizza first. This is the after effects of trying, Pizza Guys. The cheese garlic rolls are second to none. They are it must have when you order pizzas from Pizza Guys. Jason introduced me to the stuffed crust pizza that they have, I did not know they even offered it. It was fire! Their Buffalo chicken wings (which are not in the photos because I ate them) are good size chicken wings. They are pretty voluptuous and not skinny at all. The wings looks like they worked out a little bit. Nice and meaty. I'm definitely a loyal customer! read more

I stopped in recently and was genuinely impressed. The combination pizza here hits that perfect balance between comfort food and craftsmanship. The crust has a beautiful texture, crisp on the outside with a soft, airy center and it actually tastes like something, not just a delivery vehicle for toppings. The sauce is bright and flavorful without being overly sweet, and the cheese melts into that ideal golden stretch you only get when a place cares about its ingredients. The staff deserves credit too. They're friendly, quick, and clearly proud of what they serve. The whole place has an easy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger for a slice or two more than you planned. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a full meal, this spot delivers consistently great pizza and a genuinely enjoyable experience. Highly recommended. read more

Good fast food! Pleasant and good customer service. Gave me a 45 minute wait time and it was here in 20 minutes. Always have good on line specials. Recommend them! read more

Won't be back! Decided to try this place for the 1st time and I was highly disappointed, it was a waste of money $120 to the trash. Pizza was cold, tomato sauce had an odd flavor. Place was dirty and I seen the guy who was kneading dough handle cash and then put his dirty hands back on the dough. I'd love a refund!!! considering that on top of all this my order was wrong read more

Pretty sure I've never had a bad experience with Pizza Guys. They are always on time when they deliver and the quality is excellent.

The pizza has gone down hill since the old owners left. I have tried going back and it's just overpriced and not good. The wings are never fully coated and the other appetizers are not all the way heated up. read more

BEST pizza in Turlock! and the reason for my opinion is because they use real ingredients. The mushrooms are fresh and they taste like mushrooms not canned stuff, Italian sausage is the best all time! The Italian sausage is not a pre curled up piece of meat it's actually real Italian sausage that they put on the pizza. The mozzarella cheese is actually a real mozzarella cheese. there is no mix in the mozzarella cheese, it is straight real mozzarella! The pepperoni has excellent flavor. The pizza sauce is tangy and delicious no weird can flavor you could tell they totally make it fresh. Crust is crisp on outside and tender on inside. I always order double mozzarella. So my pictures that I am posting reflect that wonderful beautiful cheese pull! Double mozzarella may cost additional three bucks or so but it is so worth it. I'm from Chicago and if you like real pizza with real ingredients especially the Italian sausage, order extra Italian sausage and double mozzarella. You won't be disappointed! Plus, always go on the app and click on specials because you're gonna get your pizza for half the price using their coupons. read more

I have been visiting this shop for a while and always liked it, but recently I went in and found that the shop was just sold to new owners a few weeks ago. The quality of the food as well as the service has gone up to a whole new level! Not only is the pizza made well, and taste great, it is made quickly and the service is super fast. The pizzas have just the right amount of sauce and toppings, not over the top and not lacking in anything either! Definitely would recommend this place, best pizza in the area, especially for takeout. read more

The worst Pizza guys location I've ever purchased from, got my pizza delivered in an old dusty box that looked like it had been sitting for a long time, super gross. Also got my pizza delivered on to my house and when my coupon was torn just a little the bitchy delivery driver wouldn't except it and called her Dumb manager then proceeded to demand me for the remaining balance and read my card information out loud for all of my neighbors to hear. Customer service was terrible and management is ridiculous, will never order from pizza guys again. read more

PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE! I ordered a large combo with everything on it. That pizza was something else. It had so many toppings on there and not just that the pizza tasted so good. I definitely recommend this pizza if you are looking for a high quality pizza with enriched flavor. The young lady at the counter that helped me was so nice and had a smile on her face. The pizza was ready when I got there which was in 15 mins as I was told over the phone. They have so many appetizers and different types of specialty pizzas that sound/ look amazing. Give them a shot! read more

Good pizza the wings are yummy. I enjoy a sauce instead of a dry rub and their wings hit the spot.

This place is under new ownership, and they're extremely nice and kind, every-time I go there to pick up my order, I'm always met with a big smile and welcoming attitude, the pizza itself is very generously made with lots of toppings, and baked just right. it's in a really nice spot, right next to Dutch bros. The pizza guys store also has an ice cream fridge, and tons of drink options. Overall I recommend this place highly. read more

Extremely friendly staff plus the pizza is always hot and delicious! The gourmet combo is my go to deal...$19.99 for a large specialty pizza, cheesy garlic bread and if you pick up your order you get either a free 2 liter or small carton of ice cream. First time trying pizza guys and the service was amazing. I came in and ordered my food and it took a reasonable amount of time for the amount of food I paid for. This is my favorite pizza place in Turlock. I love the Texas Bbq Chicken pizza. The crust is a perfect consistency for pizza. Not too crisp and not too soft. They have fast and friendly customer service. I like to order online because that's where you can find good pizza deals. My kids love the pepperoni and meat pizza and the bread sticks. This is not a place to sit and eat at but a great place to pick up a good pizza and take home. This is my first choice for pizza in Turlock. read more

I attempted to order pizza from this "establishment". They lady couldn't "understand" me any of the three times I called to place my order. On the first attempt, she wasn't listening to anything I had to say. The second attempt she rudely cut me off in the middle of my order and said I'll call you back. *click* when she calls back (third attempt) she can't understand me once again, and after repeating myself multiple times without completing my order, I hung up and ordered pizza somewhere else. About 8-10 minutes later, the original lady calls back to attempt to complete my order. I tell her I ordered elsewhere. She says oh and hangs up. About another 10 minutes later, I received another call saying my pizza was ready. I informed him I never finished my order, and that I ordered elsewhere. He shouts into the phone saying why didn't you tell us. I stated that I never finished my order, or paid for my order. He then hung up on me. I called back to speak to the manager and "Carlos" answered. (Same man who called me). I asked who the manager is and he said I am. I stated that it was incredibly rude of him to hang up on me, and that I was not in the wrong. He stated I was wrong, and that he would call the cops if I called back. I stated that he is showing terrible management practices, and I was just trying to let him know that I never even finished my order, that I had more to order, and that the lady and I never even finished the discussion and that I had told her I ordered elsewhere, so that it wasn't my fault. He proceeded to cut me off and insist I was wrong and he would call the police if I called again. Terrible business practice, terrible telephone skills, and horrible manager. read more

This yelp review was removed for some reason... this is it's replacement: 11/23/2014 I have been calling and visiting this Pizza Guys for years and have never thought of getting pizza from anyone else since. I used to call and express my finickiness, about twice a month, which this team took in stride and delivered exactly the pizza I was craving. I visit more often these days to pick up my pizza, just to say hi and to let them know I appreciate their exceptional pizza and always kind service. I stop short of calling them family.... but they are pretty close. This team always provides a great tasting pizza always with a friendly manner. The fact that they remember me when I arrive always brings a smile to my face. 12-27-14 update: Today I got my usual pizza selection, provided in the same timely fashion. Love this team. Cheers all!! read more

Update: They legit just showed up at my door with a pizza (immediately grateful) and then proceeded to argue with me (big no). Do not show up on my doorstep to argue with me about how "original crust" means thin crust because it's the original crust the pizza came with. We know that's not true. I tried to explain and show him the crust options are "Tuscany Thin, Gluten Free, Thick Crust and Original". So which would you pick for regular crust? Original, right? But he proceeds to argue that original means thin and they don't have time to read everything, next time I need to write that original means regular in the notes. Won't be a next time, but thanks. Incredibly disappointed. I liked ordering from here, not because their pizza was the best, but because I could nab a salad and, hey, they seemed nice. Last time I ordered they messed up and I sent an email expressing my disappointment. No response. I thought, ok, I'll try again. I ordered today and selected original crust. My kids loathe thin crust. They won't touch the stuff. After I served my kiddos, THEY noticed the thin crust, so I compared it to my original crust and sure enough, they were right. I called and was told they will remake it on thin crust but it's not their fault because it says original crust on the order. Uh, well that's because I asked for original crust. He replies, "oh. Well we can remake it but you have to come pick it up". So I have to drive there at my expense for their mistake. I replied that I could not get there. They said, "sorry for the inconvenience". I let them know they have to come to amicable terms because I'm out the money for a speciality pizza now and they again said I could pick it up myself. No thanks. Boo. Hiss. I guess I'll send my money elsewhere now. read more

Worst pizza place. We ordered a pizza for pickup and used a card through online ordering. They took the order. We showed up before our pickup time and they were closed. Do no list your close time for 10:00 pm and charge a card and then close early. This just happened a little while ago. read more
