Pizza Guys is one of the best pizza in town, hands-down and great customer service too. The owners Jason and Manny run a great store here in Turlock. They are quick, proficient and they deliver a delicious products. I couldn't even get a photo in before I decided to try the pizza first. This is the after effects of trying, Pizza Guys. The cheese garlic rolls are second to none. They are it must have when you order pizzas from Pizza Guys. Jason introduced me to the stuffed crust pizza that they have, I did not know they even offered it. It was fire! Their Buffalo chicken wings (which are not in the photos because I ate them) are good size chicken wings. They are pretty voluptuous and not skinny at all. BEST pizza in Turlock! and the reason for my opinion is because they use real ingredients. The mushrooms are fresh and they taste like mushrooms not canned stuff, Italian sausage is the best all time! The Italian sausage is not a pre curled up piece of meat it's actually real Italian sausage that they put on the pizza. The mozzarella cheese is actually a real mozzarella cheese. there is no mix in the mozzarella cheese, it is straight real mozzarella! The pepperoni has excellent flavor. The pizza sauce is tangy and delicious no weird can flavor you could tell they totally make it fresh. Crust is crisp on outside and tender on inside. I always order double mozzarella. So my pictures that I am posting reflect that wonderful beautiful cheese pull! Double mozzarella may cost additional three bucks or so but it is so worth it. I'm from Chicago and if you like real pizza with real ingredients especially the Italian sausage, order extra Italian sausage and double mozzarella. You won't be disappointed! I have been visiting this shop for a while and always liked it, but recently I went in and found that the shop was just sold to new owners a few weeks ago. The worst Pizza guys location I've ever purchased from, got my pizza delivered in an old dusty box that looked like it had been sitting for a long time, super gross. Also got my pizza delivered on to my house and when my coupon was torn just a little the bitchy delivery driver wouldn't except it and called her Dumb manager then proceeded to demand me for the remaining balance and read my card information out loud for all of my neighbors to hear. I attempted to order pizza from this "establishment". They lady couldn't "understand" me any of the three times I called to place my order. On the first attempt, she wasn't listening to anything I had to say. The second attempt she rudely cut me off in the middle of my order and said I'll call you back. *click* when she calls back (third attempt) she can't understand me once again, and after repeating myself multiple times without completing my order, I hung up and ordered pizza somewhere else. About 8-10 minutes later, the original lady calls back to attempt to complete my order. I tell her I ordered elsewhere. She says oh and hangs up. About another 10 minutes later, I received another call saying my pizza was ready. I informed him I never finished my order, and that I ordered elsewhere. He shouts into the phone saying why didn't you tell us. I stated that I never finished my order, or paid for my order. He then hung up on me. I called back to speak to the manager and "Carlos" answered. (Same man who called me). I asked who the manager is and he said I am. I stated that it was incredibly rude of him to hang up on me, and that I was not in the wrong. He stated I was wrong, and that he would call the cops if I called back. I stated that he is showing terrible management practices, and I was just trying to let him know that I never even finished my order, that I had more to order, and that the lady and I never even finished the discussion and that I had told her I ordered elsewhere, so that it wasn't my fault. He proceeded to cut me off and insist I was wrong and he would call the police if I called again. Terrible business practice, terrible telephone skills, and horrible manager. read more

I used to call and express my finickiness, about twice a month, which this team took in stride and delivered exactly the pizza I was craving. I visit more often these days to pick up my pizza, just to say hi and to let them know I appreciate their exceptional pizza and always kind service. I stop short of calling them family.... but they are pretty close. This team always provides a great tasting pizza always with a friendly manner. The fact that they remember me when I arrive always brings a smile to my face. 12-27-14 update: Today I got my usual pizza selection, provided in the same timely fashion. Love this team. Update: They legit just showed up at my door with a pizza (immediately grateful) and then proceeded to argue with me (big no). Do not show up on my doorstep to argue with me about how "original crust" means thin crust because it's the original crust the pizza came with. We know that's not true. I tried to explain and show him the crust options are "Tuscany Thin, Gluten Free, Thick Crust and Original". So which would you pick for regular crust? Original, right? But he proceeds to argue that original means thin and they don't have time to read everything, next time I need to write that original means regular in the notes. Won't be a next time, but thanks. Incredibly disappointed. I liked ordering from here, not because their pizza was the best, but because I could nab a salad and, hey, they seemed nice. Last time I ordered they messed up and I sent an email expressing my disappointment. No response. I thought, ok, I'll try again. I ordered today and selected original crust. My kids loathe thin crust. They won't touch the stuff. After I served my kiddos, THEY noticed the thin crust, so I compared it to my original crust and sure enough, they were right. I called and was told they will remake it on thin crust but it's not their fault because it says original crust on the order. Uh, well that's because I asked for original crust. He replies, "oh. Well we can remake it but you have to come pick it up". So I have to drive there at my expense for their mistake. I replied that I could not get there. They said, "sorry for the inconvenience". I order from this location 1-2 times a month, you could say I'm a regular. I am a pizza critic; along with my brother. We try local pizza's and offer feedback on the presentation, customer service, and of course quality. Pizza Guys never fails for a decent price with fast execution. I order for delivery they say to give them 35-40 minutes and it will be here, 20 minutes later they are already at my door with a fresh hot and ready pizza waiting to be consumed. If you want a quality pizza next time you order get a pepperoni pizza with light on the sauce and extra cheese; it will not disappoint! Customer service is excellent and fast. Okay so the first time I've tried PG, it was the Ceres location. My boyfriend had brought home LEFTOVER pizza, so I ate it after it had been reheated. It was sooo good. I was like "okay this spot is going to be our new pizza spot fersure". We started ordering from the TURLOCK location because we live in Turlock. Definitely a let down. Either the Ceres location is just on their game and just, really on it. OR, the Turlock location is just absolute certified garbage. The past two times we ordered from them, something was wrong. One of the times the dude must've gotten lost or something because our pizza was late and cold. He also couldn't count and didnt know what change to give us back so my boyfriend helped him out. If we were jackasses, we literally could've just robbed y'all and paid much less than needed. But hey, good karma. The pizza that night was also doughy and uncooked. Now the more recent time, it was just all bad. It tasted like little caesars pizza (not a good thing). It was super greasy and just tasted like cardboard. I also specified that I wanted the pizza cooked "well done", since I figured that's how they'd be able to cook it all the way through. They obviously didn't follow instructions. Since Pizza Guys is a franchise I'd assume they all use the same ingredients and undergo the same training. That's why I really don't understand why the Ceres location has such great quality food and seems to be made with effort, and the Turlock location is sloppy and has bad quality food. besides all the negative, feedback the ranch cups and pesto cups are SUPER good.
