I just moved to Tracy, CA. I have been a Pizza Guys patron for years in my hometown. NEVER have I had a problem ordering or using a coupon over the phone. Tonight I attempted to order a pizza on special (which is on special on the Pizza Guys website) and I was told I would need to bring in a physical coupon. A snapshot on my phone would not work. WAY TO GO Pizza Guys. You lost a customer and have left me in such disappointment that I am now writing a review on yelp bout the poor service I received. Ordered on Sunday evening 10/11/15. I tried to order through Yelp app which says you're ordering through eat 24. Eat24 is not accurate because Pizza guys does not have the 2 for 20 deal anymore it is now 2 for 22. Still not a bad deal. You still get your choice of a free soda or ice cream as long as you choose the takeout option. When I called and ordered over the phone they did tell me that they were having problems ordering pizza online. I would have given 5 stars but their soda selection was very minimal it could have been that they did not have a chance to stock. I ordered online on 7/31/18 ref order [Order# 24433783] A lady from Tracy pizza guy location called me in about 15 minuets and refused to honor the coupon I said ok I can pay regular price but still she refused to deliver I guess it was after 9:30pm or so. My card was charged for $31.40 cents and money was never refunded to my account. I called two times but getting runaround that manager is not in call tomorrow. So I never got the pizzas but I was charged $31.40. I've been patient but come on... Really you won't give my money back.... read more

I love pizza, and I'm always in to find a good pizza joint. I ordered online a few minutes ago, it got here pretty quick. The only reason I can't give a full 5 star review is because I kept thinking half and half meant half of the toppings on one side--and half on the other, so I'm not sure if it was my misunderstanding or theirs. Either way! it's okay. I despise Dominos because it does taste like cardboard most of the time. And this is the first place I've been to since I moved up north so I'm happy. I was reluctant to buy pizza from here after reading everyones reviews but did anyways I asked them if they had any other deals then what was on the add and he worked with me which was awesome. The food came super quick and was really yummy. I can't complain, I gave four stars instead of five because I want to try them again and if I am pleased I will do another review and give them that extra one. They have a habit of messing up orders. Sometimes it is the wrong crust, other times the wrong sauce. Sometimes they mix up toppings completely! Call me crazy but I like getting what I order. On a couple occasions I've called to complain about something being wrong and though most times they replace it, I have had dealt with rude people. One that stands out particular is someone telling me they didn't want my business anymore because I always call when something was messed up! What keeps me coming back? Well I do not order as often as I used to, but their garlic sauce is amazing. They have the best garlic bread, and it is simply like a little piece of heaven. Customer service is awful. read more

Ordered from them several times. The pizza is good, kinda pricey but don't have many options in Mountain House. Only complaint is that their website/app sucks. It's 2015, I shouldn't have to call in a pizza order. They have coupons on the site, but the print is so small you can't even read it. Then when you do figure it out, it doesn't tell you that you should add the coupon first and then build your order. So, after you have built your entire order and add the coupon code, it then prompts you to fulfill the coupon. Waste of time. Other than that, the actual pizza is good. read more

I saw their reviews on Yelp and had to give them a try. The service was excellent and they had a special going where if you order online or if you pick it up they give you free ice cream. I did both and they actually gave me two free ice creams which was nice. The pizza was very good also! read more

I ordered and extra large pizza using their deal. It was pretty good and was ready in 10 minutes. The personnel were very nice. I even went back to get a free ice cream (the coupon came up when I checked in) she was very polite about it and let me take one after I showed her the coupon even though my total was only 15$ after tax. Again no cheese and peppers. Grr. Dallas forgot to put it in the receipt. All she could say is sorry. Sorry does not correct my order. The pizza was delivered about 10 minutes quicker than they said, which was nice. The crust was good. We got the BBQ chicken and the chicken supreme pizzas. A few pieces of chicken looked grey, which was discouraging to eat. We picked those off. read more

I like this pizza. I know it is not the best pizza in the world but it is a good pizza to eat on a Sunday night! I believe it is WAY BETTER that Round table (my husband does not think the same) I like the normal crust, that thin crust is not my thing... the creamy pesto sauce is good to put on top of the pizza, delicious. I used to buy Pizza from this store twice a week, as I am kind of a pizza addict, but after my last few experiences with them, I am done. They have screwed up my last few orders, and when I called to ask about how it could be fixed, the problem was blamed on me and I was told there was nothing they could do. Let me start at the beginning, I ordered online, and after ordering a large two topping pizza (the same thing I order twice a week), I was sent a small pizza. Not a huge deal, I asked the delivery person to call his manager. After 5 minutes of trying to call and having no one answer his calls, the delivery person told me there was nothing he could do, I'd have to call and speak with the manager. So that is what I did. When I called, the manager was extremely rude to me and told me it was my fault the order hadn't gone through correctly and since it was my fault the order was wrong, he couldn't help me. It didn't matter to him that I ordered the same thing from them twice a week and this order was different. It didn't matter to him that all I wanted was credit for 1 pizza on my account, all that mattered to him was that he didn't have to accept the blame for the problem. He then told me that he was busy and didn't have time to explain to me any further and reiterated he could and would do nothing to help me. So instead of fixing a small problem for a regular customer, this manager cost the company that same regular customer's business. I will continue to order my twice weekly pizzas, but it will no longer be from this store. Hope the cost of 1 pizza credit was worth losing my business over... My family and I have been customers to this particular pizza guys for about 15 years. They always have amazing deals and the pizza is the best. But the other day I had a pizza delivered to my house and 3 slices had hair embedded in the crust. Never in my life have I been so disgusted. I called and told them I'd be returning the pizza hair and all and they offered me another pizza uh pass! Well I show up and none of the 3 employees were wearing hair nets. We have purchased pizza from this Pizza Guys before and never had any issues in the past. Their pizza is actually pretty good for a good price. Unfortunately, I just bit into a slice that had a press-on nail on it. I don't recall seeing that as a topping choice and definitely didn't request it. While I hope this is a random occurrence, if they don't bother to take the necessary precautions in handling our food to avoid something like this (like wearing gloves) then it's not some place I plan to buy from again. read more

The pizza here is excellent! I have seen a couple other people comment that they like Rusty's. Well I had Rusty's last night and they used canned mushrooms. Pizza guys used real mushrooms and the pizza is really good and consistent every time. I highly recommend Pizza Guys!! read more

This is one of my most preferred pizza spots. I'm big on texture and their crust really satisfies. I would highly recommend trying their Mexican taco pizza. It was the first time I had something of the sort and I love it. It feels light and healthy some how and yet so delicious. I also really like their calzones. The pepperoni one is my favorite. I've had good experiences with the staff every time I've been. Wish they had more tables to eat! Other than that no complaints. Yummy and cheap pizza! Would recommend. read more

The pizza itself was fantastic and was ready on time, but as much as it pains me to do so, I'm giving them two stars. I went in to pick up my pizzas and there was a rush going on (understandable, seeing as it's a Friday night). Both people behind the counter were answering phones, which I have no problem with, since they were just doing their jobs and assured me they would help me as soon as they were able. One girl was finally ready, so she began to help me with my order. In the middle of her ringing me up, a woman who I am assuming is the manager approached her and scolded her (loudly) for something in front of me. As soon as she finished ringing me up she had to answer more phones, when a call she was taking got disconnected. The manager ordered her to call them back, but when she tried to explain they called from a blocked number, the manager screamed at her and told her to just go on a break. The girl went to the back and handed me my pizzas on her way out. She was visibly very upset. Don't get me wrong. I've worked in food service before (more specifically fast food). I understand rushes. I understand having a lobby full of customers and a drive through backed up all the way to the street full of people all clambering to get their orders in. I understand sweat dripping down your back as you sprint to the back to get something you've run out of because the previous shifts didn't stock up. I understand being understaffed because too many people called in "sick" because they didn't feel like working during such a rush. I understand customers seething with rage and spitting at you and cursing at you because there was a mistake in their order. I understand when nobody around you seems to be doing quite what they're supposed to be doing. I understand being on your feet for hours on end trying to do the best you can but really wishing you could just be home. I understand why this manager would be stressed. But losing your temper and screaming at your employees when they're clearly trying their best is not going to make the situation any easier. In fact, all it does is make the customers highly uncomfortable. I'm willing to give them another shot sometime, but I was definitely not okay with what went down tonight. read more
