Various pizza

This is my first time to have this pizza grande. Every pizza was really delicious. It's really wonderful and unforgettable flavors. I surely think I will reorder the pizza from this place. It was like fantastic picnic.

This was our first time coming here. And they aren't honoring the prices online when you order with them. They also have an attitude and ride thru the pizza towards my husband. The pizza said it's $15.10 and they over charged us $31.48. I will never come here again.

First time trying this restaurant, and I'm thoroughly impressed! This is a perfect example of great pizza - it was cooked to perfection with a light, crispy crust and generous toppings. I'll definitely be coming back

Everything Pizza, pepperoni, Hawaiian

So delicious!!! The best pizza I have ever had! The crust is crispy, and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. I especially love the Hawaiian pizza!! I definitely recommend this place!

I'm still trying to find a good local pizza place. Decided to try pizza grande after viewing their menu online. Let's just days the prices are way out of date. I ordered 3 large pizzas: cheese, meat lovers and ham with pineapple. I was told I got a free salad with my order. Cool! Got home and opened the salad. Um..... really pathetic so good thing I didn't pay for it. The lettuce was yellow, not green. Like it was the inside part of the head of iceberg. The tomato was the gross middle part where it's pulled off the plant. The ranch was freshly squeezed from a bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch. Ok, I didn't go there for the salad but still!! Pizza was pretty good. A large is a really good size. Lots of meat on the meat lovers, lots of ham & pineapple and the cheese pizza was tasty. Not sure it was worth $72 for 3 large pizzas though. So, I'm still trying to find a good local pizza place.

Very very clean restaurant

Sccccccrumptious!! This little gem of a pizza shop tucked away in the corner of the shopping center makes incredible pizza!!!! The service was great. The restaurant is super clean and has some seating for dine in. The owners are very kind. I've gone to the hair salon next door for years and wondered if their pizza was good. So wish I'd tried them earlier! My stylist Cathy recommended their pizza and she was right they're excellent! Our new pizza go to! Thanks Pizza Grande for some seriously excellent pizza!

I came here for lunch with my coworkers. We called our orders in, since we didn't have long to sit and eat. Thankfully, they did take the orders over the phone and once we arrived, we only had to wait maybe 5 minutes before the pizzas came out. The older Asian lady who was at the counter wasn't friendly at all. She didn't greet us, smile, nor even say thank you. All she seemed to care about was the money. For the life of me, I don't understand how they have all those Yelp awards that they proudly display. The pizza is okay, but customer service needs a drastic improvement! We all ordered the lunch specials, which include a small two topping pizza and a drink. For a quick meal to nourish your body, it's fine. If you're expecting more, this just isn't the place. I thought that overall, the pizza was good; hey, it was edible, but you could tell that the good quality ingredients weren't there. Would I go again? Sure, but it wouldn't be my first choice. I think that if they had bomb customer service, I might be more inclined to say fuck it and just go, even if the food is not exactly the best, because I'll happily support anyone who is trying. However, mediocre food and bad service equals less of that possibility.

Pizza Grande is my first stop when visiting Grandma. It's always fresh, hot, and delicious!! Maybe it's because I grew up eating it. Or maybe it really is just great pizza. Either way, they will always get my business and I hope they never go away. Oh, and the pair who have been working there since I was a kid are so great! Always so nice.

Cheese pizza- excitedly took a bite before a pic!

Was craving pizza but didn't want a whole pizza and didn't know of any places near that sold by the slice. They have a mini pizza deal, bigger than the personal pizza size you could get at places like Pizza Hut, that was perfect. Got a simple but yummy cheese pizza with a can of soda for about $8 I called in the order and picked it up about 10minutes later. Worker inside was nice and wearing a mask.

Pizza was not bad. Lady who took my order over the phone was a bit short with me. Food was definitely better than pizza hut or dominos.

Even though my boyfriend and I recently moved to Florida, Franco's was the very first place on our list when we came back to Los Angeles for a two-week visit--and it instantly felt like coming home. Walking through the doors, we were greeted like family, just as we always are. We brought my boyfriend's parents and grandma for the first time last Wednesday, and they haven't stopped talking about it since. They're very picky about their food, so the fact that they LOVED everything truly says it all. This time I tried the Chilean seabass, and wow--"incredible" doesn't even begin to describe it. Perfectly cooked, buttery, and full of flavor. And their holiday pumpkin spice cheesecake? To die for. I'm still thinking about it! Over the past year, Franco's has become more than just a restaurant for us. The people here--the family who runs it and the regulars we've met--make every visit feel warm, genuine, and unforgettable. We've created memories here with friends, with family, and now with my boyfriend's family, too. No matter how far we move, Franco's will always be our #1. It truly is my favorite restaurant of all time. If you're in the area, don't walk--RUN. You'll be treated like family, fed like royalty, and you'll leave already thinking about your next visit.

Yelp reviews brought us in but the food, the vibe, and Lisa and her family will bring us back when we're back in town. And the music was perfect which makes the vibe too cool. We started with fried artichokes that were perfect, not too much breading and the artichokes were trimmed so you didn't get those tough leaf pieces (pet peeve!) but I would've liked a better sauce than ranch dressing like a lemon aioli or even a creamy light pesto-but I digress and they were fabulous! I had the fresh-made pappardelle bolognese special which was awesome and my son had his favorite pepperoni pizza. TIP: always look at the specials first but I got the feeling looking around that everything is good. I truly struggled with the menu for 10, ok 20 minutes because I wanted EVERYTHING! Seated right next to the kitchen was awesome as I saw all the food come out and was wrapped in fab food aromas making my choice harder. The cheesecake my son ordered was exceptional and our server gave him the works: caramel, chocolate and strawberry sauces and my boosy affogato was great and even though the were out of the biscotti, Lisa's son brought me a pirouette which was very sweet. I'm an espresso snob and this espresso had a smooth, almost sweet, smoky finish that sang to me, so to speak. Folks, if you live in the vicinity, run don't walk and go score some awesome food! Established in 1991, I was ashamed that this was not on my radar before I moved but they're stuck with us now! Go! Manga!

We made a reservation for a Saturday night and were so excited and it really did not disappoint from start to finish. We got the puff bread with cultured butter with honey and furikake. OMG. I just... how can something so simply taste so delicious? Definitely a must try. We paired it with the salmon crudo and caprese with burrata. The salmon crudo was good, not blown away, but the caprese. Mmm! It came in a ponzu sauce and was this beautiful blend between Italian and Japanese flavors. So good. For our mains, my husband got the Seafood mafaldine and I opted for the Mala lamb pizza. This was such a unique pizza flavor, the hot honey sauce it came with tasted like a spicy, sweet curry and the pizza itself was delicious. Crispy crust, a little bit of cilantro for freshness. So good. To top it all off, we got the Blueberry pavlova and hazelnut cake. Both of these were incredibly indulgent and absolutely worth it. I think we were full for a whole day off this meal. To wash it down, I had the Highball with Suntory whiskey and a Calamansi Sidecar. I loved the assortment of Japanese whisky here, the cocktail menu was more tastefully curated than just trendy. On top of an excellent meal that I will be salivating over for a while, our server Danny was great! Super attentive, friendly, helpful and just a delight. Highly recommend!

Then they vanished. App said second person was picking it up. Then they also vanished. 3rd person assigned. Vanished. 45 minutes after placing the order I called Pizza D'Amore on the phone. Person who answered put me on hold for quite a while, came back and said HE IS NOT AT THAT LOCATION, he is telephone customer support, he tried calling the restaurant and COULD NOT GET THROUGH. He blew us off with a recommendation to call Uber! YEAH NO! I drove over there (3 minute drive) and found chaos and mayhem. The tiny parking lot was gridlocked and the slightly larger parking lot next door (dog groomer / seamstress / boxing gym) was packed, and people were double parking and parking illegally, nobody could get in or out. I found a spot to leave my truck (I wouldn't exactly call it "parked") and walked up. Line out the door, and a mob of people jammed inside. I JUST WANT TO COLLECT MY 3 PIZZAS AND LEAVE. Many people waiting to order, many others like me just want to pick up. I try to speak to a worker and worker shrieks "We're talking to people in the order they arrived" then shrieks it A SECOND TIME. IT IS JUST A BIG MOB, NO ONE IS HANDING OUT NUMBERS, THERE IS NO WAY THIS HORRIBLE FOOD WORKER KNOWS THE ORDER OF ARRIVAL OF ANYONE AT ALL. THEN I SEE SOMEONE LOWER A PIZZA PADDLE TO THE FLOOR AND SCRAPE UP SOME SLUDGE / GUNK THAT THEY HAVE BEEN WALKING ON!!! Scrapes it up, throws it away, turns back to work, SLIDES THE TAINTED PADDLE UNDERNEATH A HOT FRESH PIZZA (not so fresh anymore), lifts the pizza and slides it into a box TO GO TO A CUSTOMER!! DISGUSTING!!!! I drove home. Cooked some food. Pizzas showed up a little while later. STRAIGHT INTO THE TRASH (Like "Straight to Jail" but with more emphasis). Well, straight into a jumbo food waste bag and into the green waste can. THOSE FOOD WORKERS MAY BE MINIMUM WAGE BUT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE FOOD HANDLING CERTIFICATES AND THEY HAVE: ONE. JOB. TO BE SANITARY. WHAT IF THAT PIZZA WENT HOME TO A CHILD, AND THAT CHILD GOT A BIG BITE OF INDUSTRIAL KITCHEN FLOOR WASTE??? OR WHAT IF THE PERSON WHO GOT THAT PIE HAS GASTRIC ISSUES OR WHAT IF THEY ARE IMMUNO-COMPROMISED??? Well it looks like it's time for us to find a new pizza source because we will never buy from this gross disgusting place again. I also have some phone calls to make and letters to write to the HEALTH DEPARTMENT, the City, the County, I'll have to enlist the Goog to give me a list of places to lodge complaints. And I'll also have to write reviews on Google, Yahoo, and all the other online review sites. Looks like I've got some work ahead, good thing I retired early.
