Service is always good. For me and my husband personally this is one of our favorite pizza joints. My mother's home is close by so many times on my way to visit her or on my way home I will call and place a pick up order. Tricky thing with pizza is everyone has their own idea of what makes a pizza good. I'm not as choosy as Mike. He likes a thick crust, I can take it or leave it. He likes meat for toppings I like veggies, but always appreicate a classic pepperoni. For me personally, their crust is neither to thick or thin it's just right and they seem to be able to add just the right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. So give them a try and maybe you'll taste and appreciate their pizzas just as we do. I think the owner's name is Angela? I'm going to have to ask her again, but they've been there for years. Pizza for dinner tonight in Anaheim California! I rate this place a 3.5! Visited this mom n pops joint and it was a bit dated but decided to try it anyway. We ordered a ham and pineapple and sausage pizza, house salad with ranch dressing and chicken wings. The service was rather quick and we received our drinks instantly. No fountain...you purchase by the bottle. The salad was good, fresh but I didn't like the flavor of the ranch dressing. The chicken wings were good and had good flavor but they were very small and the pizza was delicious. They did not discriminate on the toppings. We enjoyed our dinner and the staff this evening were very welcoming. I would definitely recommend you trying this place...over the chain pizza joints. The restrooms get an A+ rating on the Luis scale (this is a rare occurrence) for being remarkably clean and organized. The kitchen was very clean too! I walked in for pick up and the service was great! I ordered via seamless and it was accurate for pick up time. We got an XL pepperoni and sausage pizza but the toppings were very few, I think they could have cooked the pizza to proper crispiness and doneness, it was a bit underdone in the crust/dough. We were on vacation and wanted to order pizza from a good local place. I came across this place online and read reviews. They were also the only place I could find that had deals and coupons online. We called in our order and pickedy it up. From when you called the order in to when we picked it up, it took like 30 minutes which isn't bad. It also was a Saturday. The lady who worked there was so nice. She asked us where we were from. I guess she could tell by just looking at us that we weren't locals. Great pizza and phone order experience! I am tired of the chain pizza places and wanted to revisit this pizza place (last time I ate here was when I was in high school so it's been over a decade+). This place is my (old) new pizza place. :) I saw their menu online and decided to get their extra large special with two toppings. I would've posted a picture (next time I will) but we ate it up too quick because it was delicious! The crust wasn't too thick or thin and cooked to perfection. The cheese on top was generous but not overwhelming, the pepperoni and jalapeño was spread into top jussst right. Very disappointed in the customer service at this restaurant. I placed an order on yelp. I ordered a 2 topping xl pizza with pineapple and meatball and the Valentines special heart shaped pizza advertised with a free chocolate cake. Our order arrived and the xl pizza was completely wrong. It arrived as sausage and pepperoni. I proceeded to call the grub hub customer service and we were told that the person who made the order "put the pineapples on herself" and packed the cake in our bag. Both of which were lies. I've lived in the surrounding neighborhood for over ten years and only recently gave La Pizzeria a shot. They make a good pizza that's never been soggy or skimpy on toppings. I'll pick La Pizzeria over a chain like Pizza Hut or a local spot such as Pepz except Mama and Cortina's. The last two are on another level. My honest opinion, this pizza reminded me of the free cold lunches served back in middle school :(. Do you all remember, that rectangle pizza?! I ordered online and I think that backfired. I ordered the medium pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, no extra cheese yet since it was online the website has no extra cheese option so obviously not being charged for it, I knew there was a big chance I was not going to get it. I also ordered the lasagna and I requested pink sauce but again no pink sauce option so no charge so you guessed it I didn't get it, but maybe this restaurant doesn't offer, pink sauce, so ok no worries on that. Ehhhh, not good, not bad. It is what it is and that's an inexpensive pizza by the slice place. The service was good, I was quickly greeted. I ordered a slice of pepperoni. It came out of a box that was sitting out.... figured it couldn't be too bad or sitting out too long since it was around lunch time. They threw the pizza in the oven and I waited maybe 5 min or so. A young man brought the pizza to my table. What I received tasted better than it looked. It looked like a sad slice of frozen pizza. Fortunately the sauce was tasty and the dough was decent. I probably wouldn't come here again. It just really wasn't quite what I'd hoped for. If I lived closer, maybe I'd give their regular pizza a shot. They charge an extra $1 if you pay with a card so remember to bring cash. The pizza looked really good but I did not like their dough and cheese. There was no crispiness to the crust, it was very doughy and bread-like. The cheese was not gooey and melty like on a typical pizza (if that makes sense). La Pizzeria is one of those places we drove past hundreds of times and for whatever resson never stopped to try. Around Valentines Day of this past year I found that they served heart shaped pizzas which drew me in as a nice meal for me and my wife. The service was good and the food came out promptly. The pizza itself was good but just average tasting as I was not a huge fan of the sauce used on it. We get tons of coupons and deals for this place so we will definitely be back. I looking forward to trying the wings and pasta options they offer. I believe in giving all places at least a second chance and this is no exception. This place offers average pizza done right. Their garlic bread seems to hit the spot and the cheese ravioli is pretty good. As far as price goes, the restaurant charges a decent amount for everything. Service is usually a tough call when it comes to delivery pizza places, but La Pizzeria does a good job in making sure the customer leaves with everything a-okay. With that being said, I get childhood post-soccer game vibes from eating pizza here and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. read more

Found our go-to pizza place in our new neighborhood! It's a quaint spot and the owner is a sweet Nepalese lady. My husband and I love this place, because it's a simple pizza spot with all the pizza necessities. The first time we came, we got pizza sandwiches! Sounds strange right? It's literally a pizza sandwich - kind of like a sub, with whatever 2 toppings you'd like. The second time, I got a calzone (which is HUGE btw)! It's not on their menu, but you can still order it. It's around $7. Pizza slices are $1.50 and they usually have specials for an extra large 16" pizza for $12.49. We are from Vegas, and were in town for the weekend. On our way to Downtown Disney, we were looking for somewhere to stop and eat dinner on the way. This place popped up. My son loves pizza. Pulled up, and discovered it looked like a little locally owned hole in the wall place. Those usually turn out to be so good! We walked in, and there was a woman working. I assumed she was the owner that other reviewers mention. She was very friendly, making suggestions on the menu on how to get the most bang for our buck. I also asked about a military discount, and they do offer one, since her husband is a prior Marine. My little one wanted a slice of pepperoni pizza. My older two kids also wanted pizza. The lady suggested a half and half pizza, and they could all 3 share, which would be more cost effective. They also ordered garlic bread. I ordered the ravioli with meat sauce, and a dinner salad with ranch. Wait was about 20 minutes for the food, since they make it fresh to order. The salad was kind of blah- butter lettuce, olives, mushrooms, carrots. Little side cup of ranch. The ravioli was really good! Came out piping hot, with a side of garlic bread. The pizza was scarfed down by the 3 kids. They loved it! We loved this place. Sauce | A dense cooked tasting sauce with an intense flavor of oregano. It's predominantly skewed to the outside edges of the pizza. Cheese | Perhaps, the most disappointing aspect of this pizza. It a globular shred that has absolutely no stringiness to it. The flavor is extremely mild and doesn't add much to the taste. Minutiae | They were very inconsistent on toppings with meat being miserly doled out and the onions overwhelming the pizza. Despite ordering the pizzas well-done, they arrived cooked properly (i.e., cooked regularly, their pizza would be under done). read more
