Wonderful service for Sunday lunch! This highlight here is totally the dough -- you can tell it's super fresh and has that great sour flavor. The 14" pizza is the perfect amount to split between two people. I love this location, and the gelato spot next door is the cherry on top. Parking on Morris Ave can be difficult some evenings, but well worth it. I love that you can see into the kitchen. The art on the walls is fabulous, I wish they would put the artists' names by them so I could look it up!

Bottom left - Gnudi. Top right - Roasted Gulf Shrimp. Both EXCELLENT!

Wow! We ordered the Roasted Gulf Shrimp (TO DIE FOR) and the Gnudi (PHENOMENAL). Our pizza was half white, half mushroom. The staff was beyond helpful (told me to keep my shrimp butter to dip the pizza crust in - super grateful for the tip!) The ambiance is cozy with an exposed kitchen and intimate seating. Highly recommend!

Food first, thoughts after... This was my second time at pizza grace. The first time was before Michelin guide. Went with some friends and no surprise had to wait. They do not take reservations and are pretty popular. From the host to the server everyone was so friendly and down to earth. The apps were delicious. Pizza was overall okay. A little burnt but still good. The seasonal peach and prosciutto was so good! Got to try their hot honey and homemade ranch as well.

I love Pizza Grace! This is my second time here and I had to get the garlic bread again. I'll probably get it every time and could just eat this as my meal. Highlyyyy recommend. We split the pepperoni and the Calabrian, which is on their summer menu and has chicken on it and is so flavorful. Their sourdough crust is really good and just a solid pizza overall. They do not do reservations so it's always good to get there early and put your name down. Luckily they have seating outside where you can drink a glass of wine or a really good gelato shop right next door to wait. Will be coming back!!

We are here on a Sunday at 11 am. The restaurant is not too big but they do have outdoor seating. We had the Caesar salad and it was plenty for two to share. The fried capers and sourdough crisps were a nice touch. We ate the pepperoni pizza and got a pizza that was half the mushroom/olive and Nardello. The crust was sourdough perfection. The toppings were delicious and the pizzas were definitely covered in topping. We loved every bite. The service was speedy and the staff was friendly. A great place to grab a specialty pizza!

The staff were excellent!! A very welcoming and comfortable environment was also a nice feature. There is a full view of the kitchen which is an open concept. The pizza was good if you like a lot of dough. The toppings were good but sparse. It's not what I would consider a conventional pizza. It's also made with a sourdough crust which was good! It would be a good choice for a date or a family.

We came to Pizza Grace on a Friday, for an early dinner. Upon arrival, it wasn't busy(AT ALL) but we blinked and this places was full of pizza wanting patrons! This isn't the biggest restaurant. It's comfortable and you don't feel like you are sitting on top of anyone. The ambiance is relaxed and decorated nicely. My fav part is the exposed bricks. Table seating, a few bar seats and some high table top seats are available. We ordered the pepperoni pizza with mushrooms on 1/2. I also requested a side of hot honey. The pizza was quite tasty and I loved the sourdough crust. The ingredients were fresh & of great quality. Our server was really polite and kept our water glasses full. I also had a Good people IPA. They have a respectable wine list but had limited beer options. If you come here, parking on Morris Ave could be a challenge. Thankfully , it wasn't for us. This was my first time at Pizza Grace. The yummy food and good service were worth the visit!

The wait wasn't bad. Service was good. We ordered appetizers and a pie. The food was good. Pepperoni galore on the pizza. We went basic. The meatballs were top shelf. Cute place with a nice vibe.

First time here and we enjoyed it very much. Waiter was a little aggressive but all in all it was good. Will come back

White Pie with Sausage

Stopped by on a Tuesday evening. Restaurant was busy but luckily had 2 seats open at the bar. Service was great - our waitress was friendly and checked up on us throughout our meal. We ordered the Garlic Bread with a side of Marinara sauce as well as the White Pie with Sausage added. Everything tasted great and fresh. Didn't feel too heavy. Overall, I would highly recommend. Parking: Nearby street parking and paid parking lots nearby.

Overall, really enjoyed my experience at Pizza Grace with no major complaints and would totally come back but personally doesn't stand out from other pizzerias. You are definitely paying for the atmosphere as it has a great ambiance with candle lighting on Morris Ave but doesn't take away from very solid pizza.

this restaurant is located on morris avenue and it's perfect for a date night! paid or street parking available! the restaurant is on the smaller side but staff is very attentive and the waitlist went by quick. there is both indoor and outdoor seating. our waitress was great! we started off with garlic bread to share and it was perfect. the pizzas were pricey but worth it! the crust is sourdough and cooked to perfection!

Good ambiance and service. We went with a large group and our server provided great service. Since we had a large group, we got to taste much of the menu. Pizza was good but didn't live up to the expectations going in. I wish they had more non pizza entrees on the menu. Overall a solid dining experience in a great atmosphere with excellent service.

Decent pizza with unique choices. A lil overpriced for what you get. Service was bad. Nice room however but probably wouldn't go back.

Wooden City is located off Morris Avenue in a shared row of older buildings. There's a private parking lot behind the building, and you can have your parking ticket validated at the restaurant. The location and vibe on Morris Avenue are really neat and uniquely Birmingham. It's a great addition to the city's dining scene. Our party of four started with drinks and shared three appetizers: the Bread and Butter, Heirloom Tomatoes, and Steak Tartare. My favorite was the Bread and Butter. It's house-made focaccia served with a sun-dried tomato spread and an oil dipping sauce. The bread was amazing. For my entrée, I ordered the Peel-and-Eat Shrimp from the appetizer menu. It was fabulous--a generous portion of large shrimp that were perfectly seasoned and grilled. For dessert, we shared the Chocolate Mousse and Blueberry/Blackberry Crisp. The crisp was my favorite. It was served hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream--an excellent way to finish the meal. While Wooden City doesn't have a large menu, everything we tried was very well done. I definitely recommend giving it a try, but don't be in a hurry. The service was a little slow during our visit.

We snagged some seats at the bar and had some drinks and shortly after that, our table was ready. And they were able to keep everything on one check, which was nice. No need to settle the tab and start a new one at the table. And the old fashioned I had was delicious. For food, we started with the Hungarian Hot Stuffed Peppers. These were pretty good and the heat gradually snuck up on you as you ate them. I don't know if it was because the heat was more intense as you worked your way towards the stem or just a gradual burn. Either way, these were good and worth the heartburn later. The thick focaccia helped with the burn a little. Speaking of heartburn, the pepperoni pizza may have contributed a bit to that too, but again, totally worth it. The cup-and-char pepperoni was charred nicely as were the edges and bottom! I love a nice bottom! These were easy to share between two of us. Service was amazing from the bartender to the waiter to the uber driver (who didn't really count, but nice job, man). We felt welcomed and I can see why the place was crowded on a Tuesday evening.

Multiple people have raved about how good it is, and I've been meaning to try it for years. It's been around the corner from my job as long as I've been working there, but I'd always put it off or find some reason or other not to go. The entire experience was a ten out of ten. I was greeted as soon as I stepped foot into the restaurant. The bar is right in the front just past the host stand, and one of the bartenders welcomed me and handed me a menu to review for my order. She even offered me something to drink while I decided what I wanted. I looked up from the menu when I was ready to order and there she was, ready to take my order. I waited about 15 minutes for my food, and that was all. It was such a lovely experience. The whole vibe of the place was laid back and comforting. I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in and just having someone welcome me when I enter means the world to me. I was in a big hurry today, so I really appreciated the in and out service. Love love love this place! I ordered the small sriracha shrimp pie. It was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. They weren't gummy and overcooked like I was afraid they'd be. A lot of places have trouble with shrimp because they cook so fast, but I was very satisfied with my order. Overall, I'm happy that I finally tried Pies & Pints.

Wife and I ate there before going to the movie. She ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. Noddles were cooked perfectly. I was thinking about getting 2 slices, but by the time I did that it seemed like it would be a better deal to get a whole pizza. But I knew that would be way too much pizza for me. Our waitress informed us of the lunch special for a pizza and salad it's $13 or 2 slices for $18. She was great and super informative. The slice and salad intrigued me because you could get any salad on the menu. The slice options for the day were the white shadow, pepperoni, cheese, and maybe the wing & the prayer? I went with the white shadow & the spinach salad. I loved the salad with ranch, but it felt like it was missing a crunch maybe ? The balsamic vinaigrette really didn't add anything to the salad for me. The white shadow was pretty good but super greasy and maybe I'd add a protein next time. It was definitely cheese and grease overload but that's what I signed up for so I can't complain. I really wasn't wow'd by the pizza over any other place honestly. But the service and ambiance was great! If I had a taste for pizza and was in the area I would possibly stop by for the slice and salad deal again.
