Sad to say but I would put 0 stars if I could. I am apart of the rewards program for my local pizza factory. They offer a reward where for 300 points you get a free choose your own pizza worth up to 25 dollars. Anytime I try to use it I am told "it's not working on our end best I can do is offer your 2 dollars off" which is nowhere near the equivalent of 300 points considering $1=1 point. Now I'm told it doesn't work in their system and they can only offer me full price. I was given the owners phone number and told to call to "straighten out the issue" to which I was sent to voice mail each and every time. I went back to the store to ask about this and was told the owner will call me when available. It never happened. This last time I tried to use my points I was given a card with the "regional managers" name and number from corporate. When I finally got him on the phone he said he couldn't talk now because he was in a meeting but if I could wait an hour he'd call me back. I said that wouldn't work I'm in the drive through and needed my food as I didn't have an hour to wait and was told to call him to resolve this issue. He argued with me for 10 minutes about not having time to talk about my issue. Then he hung up on me saying he'd call me back. Which seems to track with the way the owner does business. I am very frustrated considering I've tried to follow the chain of command as to getting my issue resolved and just keep getting told to wait for someone to make contact which never happens. There's no number to call and no one who will talk to me which leaves me to do this hopefully someone will see this and think twice. read more

First time ordering here and was very happy. Ordered a build your own thin crust pizza with sausage, green peppers, and onion. Ordered through DoorDash delivery. Pizza arrived hot and toppings were flavorful. I love that they use 100% mozzarella I don't like cheese blends on my pizza. I ordered a thin crust and it was a little thicker than I expected but it was very good and not tough on the edges at all so was very happy with it. Menu shows a lot of other options as well pastas, calzone, salads, desserts, wings, etc. and I will most likely try a pasta dish at some point and a calzone. Since our local Italian place closed I have been missing a good pizza. I really don't care for the other pizza places in town and honestly don't know why I never remember pizza factory. Maybe it's location because you don't really see it unless you are in a parking lot for another business. This will definitely be my go to pizza place. From one small town (Bakersfield) to another small town, this place is a treasure! Stopped in today (6/22/23) for their lunch buffet ($11) which is unbeatable. Obviously a very busy location as it took the host at the register a little while to take our order and the other two cashiers were also juggling phone lines. Their lunch buffet includes a traditional salad bar with ALL of the fixings, whatever you'd like on your salad you're sure to find. Pizza is a rotating menu and by the slice, while there I was able to try their cheese pizza, chicken bacon, mushroom sausage and jalapeño pepperoni all had FRESH ingredients, nothing tasted old or frozen which is awesome. And to throw in a drink as part of the buffet is awesome. If ever in the area and trying to get some bang for my buck, I will be stopping by. read more

The pizza at Pizza Factory is hit or miss. Sometimes it is amazing others it's disgusting. I'd say the quality is inconsistent. I have gone several times after being invited to parties being hosted here and the arcade machines are a waste of money. They are either super rigged or broken. The arcade is already very limited so it would be nice if more than a couple machine worked. The environment overall is alright, but the restrooms were absolutely sickening. My daughter needed to use the restroom so I took her, only to find feces smeared all over both toilets. read more

The owners are very friendly and do a lot for the community, and all the employees are chill (AF). I was visiting family in Porterville and was wanting my favorite food for dinner. We decided on the Pizza Factory, we called them about 4:30 Pm and was told the Pizzas will be ready at 5 pm. We arrived at 5 pm on the dot and we didn't have to wait long in line. The Pizzas just came out. I checked in via Yelp and used the $1 off check-in offer for the medium combination and $2 of the large pepperoni and olive Pizzas we ordered. I asked for cheese and peepers and was given a bag full. The customer service was pretty good and I'm really glad they honored the yelp check in offers. When I came to my family's house I took pics right away and everyone enjoyed the pizza here. My Mom liked the fact that the pizza was a thin crust. My Grandpa liked the pizza in general. My cousin liked the pizza too. My eldest daughter really liked the combination pizza amdand noticed the pie wasn't really greasy. As for me, well Pizza is my favorite food. We had a great time my family and I. Went for lunch Buffett & the girl working the front had the worst attitude. Got past that part & went to salad bar. The lettuce was down to nothing and some of it brown. Unfortunately, I no longer can eat at this restaurant. The employees do not wash their hands nor do they wear gloves. The last time I was there the cashier handled money at the register and then went on to make a pizza without washing his hands. While I was waiting another employee was refilling pizza toppings and she was scooping pineapple out of a bucket with her hands. It was disgusting! Meanwhile, another employee was on her cellphone. By the way, it took one hour for them to complete my order and for the first 30 minutes they were not making any pizzas. I don't understand why the management or owner is not training their employees on how to handle food properly. If you're handling food and you go to answer the phone, then you need to wash your hands, if you're handling food and you are helping someone at a cash register you need to wash your hands, if you are touching your hair, face, or cellphone you need to wash your hands. The pizza & other food choices are not bad, but the establishment overall is not kept up and always appears dirty. The floors are always so dirty/sticky and the restrooms are filthy. There is normally plenty of staff there so I'm not sure why they don't have someone cleaning up during operation. Pizza factory is a really good place to eat. They have wings, pizza, and make your own salads! For kids, they have a room full of arcade games that they can enjoy after eating. Pizza Factory was recently remodeled for more people to fit. I do recommend this restaurant. As long as next time we order pizza they don't get names mixed up to Michelle even though we did not say Michelle! We never got our pizza because they were trying to look for a Michelle. . Worst customer service I've had here. Ordered a special XL 3 topping pizza with chicken bacon & half red onions. We received onions on the whole pizza. When asked if they could remake the girl said she didn't hear us say half and then they proceeded to ask us for the pizza back, which wouldn't be a problem but my nephew already had one slice and they were just going to throw it away. There were no other options of marking a smaller/personal pizza how without onions nor an offer of maybe a discount, not even a sorry we'll fix that right now...... super lame and disappointing. I've had the pizza here a few times and have never been disappointed. I did notice that the place does need some TLC. I've had the All meat pizza, plain pepperoni, and the pastrami is also pretty damn good. All have been good. Yeah, the price is a little high, and the wait times can be long. Seeing that I have family in Bodfish, I come here when I visit and even I know that the wait time will be somewhat long. I'm not sure if these are locals or visitors ordering.. I haunt done delivery but it's sometimes very cold out.. But I would just put my pizza in the oven if it's cold. I will continue coming as long as it's open.. I was underwhelmed with my experience here. We ordered the pesto and sundries tomatoe pizza and their meatball. Tje meatball was pretty good but the pizza was a real letdown. The subdried tomatoes were so large a tuff that you could hardly chew them. The environment was nothing special-typical family dinning enviorment with large tables, a few arcade games and big tvs. On a positive note, the service was pretty good and really fast. read more

Really really really bad pizza....we ordered two: the bbq chicken and a pepperoni. We asked for extra red onions and there were very few thin slices. We also asked for olives on the pepperoni and they were all clumped in the center of the pie. The flavor of the pepperoni was weird....it had a very strong licorice flavor....and yes, I know that anise is used in some kinds of pepperoni but this was overwhelming. The crust on one side was burnt and the whole thing was just floppy....like it was undercooked. We also ordered the mango habanero wings which were ok....didn't taste much like mango or habanero though. I wish I had taken pictures of it before we threw it away. None of us ate more than a couple of bites. Yuck. Guess we will go back to Pizza Guys or Tony's. read more

Consistency is not their strong point, apparently. I believe this location must have changed owners because when it first opened it was consistently the BEST in town.
