Honestly, this is one of the best pizza places I've ever been to. I've had pizza everywhere -- from Mexico to San Diego, up through San Francisco, Washington, Colorado, and even from Florida all the way to the Bahamas -- and I can confidently say this place might take the top spot. Everything we ordered was amazing. The cheese on the pizza was perfect, and the pasta and cheese sticks were just as good -- super consistent and flavorful across the board. The cheese and sauce were so consistent throughout all our order. We came in on a Friday right before Valentine's Day, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Service was quick, the menu was simple and easy to order from, and my fiancé and I genuinely enjoyed every bite. Wow what a great local pizza spot in Mariposa. After spending the morning and most of the day hiking we stopped at this local spot and we are glad we did. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. They have a parking lot in the back in case you don't find anything on the side. We got a salad and calzone which was enough o share between 2 ppl. Service was amazing they bring the food out to you and are very nice. The food was also very good and we all enjoyed it. No food was left behind. Highly recommend this place if you are driving by or need to refuel after a long day of hiking. read more

I could be more disappointed, at least the food was edible, however that's all it is, edible food, total waste of a dinner eaten out, I wish I had looked at the yelps first. Came here twice since staying near here for our Yosemite trip. I absolutely loved the garlic bread with cheese it was my favorite. Also the all meat pizza was good. Wasn't a fan of the calzone. But would definitely recommend the garlic bread with cheese to anyone if they come here. Even though they were busy staff was still all so nice. I don't know what it is about Mariposa but this was one of the best Pizza Factorys I've ever had. We came in right when they opened and they were fully staffed and ready to roll. On a Sunday. I immediately noticed how clean this restaurant was. From the tables to the floors, even the soda machines and salad bar. The salad bar, there is something about a pizza place salad bar and this one was above and beyond. Fresh salad mix, fresh veggies, fresh dressing, fresh EVERYTHING. (I would suggest just keeping what they have in the dressing bowls and putting away the bottles( I get the concept of more options but it took away from the overall aesthetic of how NICE and CLEAN it was). It tasted amazing. Again, fresh, and full of flavor and I loved the Thousand Island dressing. We ordered a medium Big R Special. It was delicious in every single way. The dough and crust were full of flavor and the sauce was great, veggies, again fresh, and overall, I had to tell myself to stop eating it. Decent pizza. We picked up a medium veggie pizza between the 2 of us and it was adequate. It looked good fresh but we ate it after a couple hours and the crust had become very hard. Nothing bad but nothing exceptional, it wasn't the best pizza ever, but it had plenty of toppings and was quite tasty. They don't offer vegan cheese so I went with veggie pizza without a cheese, hubby got pepperoni and mushroom. Both were size small and more than enough for one person. We had some leftovers for next day lunch at Yosemite Park. The place has plenty of long tables, it was pretty messy, the staff was not really cleaning much after people were leaving. OK, so we were starving after a full day at Yosemite and we drove to Mariposa, which is actually a very cute little town!!! Four of us were sharing a one bathroom Airbnb so we decided to grab pizza and go back to the Airbnb to start showers. Cute little place on the inside and service was awesome. Nice, hometown type of pizza spot. A good place to grab a bite after a day at Yosemite. Inside is pretty spacious with lots of bench table seating and booths on the side. A good place for groups. TV's on the walls to watch a game. There's a small arcade area in the back too, but it looks like some of the games don't work. The pizza is pretty good. We got the hawaiian, not my choice lol, but it was ok. Thick crust, decent amount of toppings. Also got the hot & spicy wings, which were basically buffalo flavor, could have used more heat for my taste. Service was good. Friendly staff. The pizza, while not the worst I've had is far from the best - it's about what you'd expect from a Sam's Club pizza but at three times the cost. Service wise, it's gotten bad. One time, I called in a pizza and told the employee I would be paying cash. She told me she would only take cards, because, "It's like, totally easier than to collect the cash on delivery." After advising her that I have my cards locked for manual entry purchases, she argues and insists I pay by card. Cue me pulling over on 49 to run my card that I knew would decline. Finally, she gets the memo I'm paying cash The final nail in the coffin was calling and asking for delivery, which is usually a crapshoot at best. Was told it depends on the manager if they deliver. Strange, because I've always been told it's walking distance. So anyway, I've made it a point not to recommend this place. This is a young girl with short hair and horrible make up. In talking with the group I was eating with, one other person had a horrible experience with her several months ago. Was in town for a couple of nights and decided to get some late night food one night. Here in Mariposa there isnt alot of options late at night. At the time I checked it was only a bar,subway,a chinese restaurant and this pizza place. I didn't want to go to a bar and subway was a hard no. The Chinese restaurant had terrible reviews so the last and only option was this place. I came here and it said 52 minutes until closing on yelp, I walked in and the lady inside asked me if I already had an order placed and I responded no. She then proceeded to rudely tell me "well we're closed" and then just turned her back towards me and kept doing whatever she was doing. I understand Kitchens close before the actual closing time but in my usual experience its usually 30 minutes before closing. A simple "sorry we stop taking orders at blah blah blah time" but just telling me your closed and turning your back to me is extremely rude and off putting. I double checked on yelp and it says they close at 10pm but I checked on Google and it says they close at 9pm. Which one is it? I assume its 9pm since the lady said they were closed but how am I supposed to know when yelp tells me otherwise. Overall she still could've been nicer about it. read more

This place is somehow the most popular option for pizza takeaway in the Mariposa/Midpines area. They seem to be one of the only ones to have a working online ordering system. The first night we ordered they called us back saying they're out of cheese so we cancelled our order. What a great stop for a late evening dinner! This was a great stop as we returned from Yosemite. We were worried that there wouldn't be much of a selection or if they would even serve us because it was close to closing time. We ordered on the road but decided to add another pie and no problem. It's hard to order by phone especially with the spotty internet so we couldn't see the complete menu. But the person that took our order was very patient and helped us through the process even thought it was pretty late! The place was pretty busy so we had a short wait as we watched the guy hand toss each pizza. The restaurant was clean and the service was fast and courteous. It's literally the best pizza in town. We grab one on our way into Yosemite and two one the way out of Yosemite. The crust is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside with lots of cheese on top and just the right amount of sauce. There's also a little arcade in the back where the kids can hang out. There's lots of seating for large groups inside, and they open outdoor seatings in the summer months. We stop by every time we're in town.
