The owner came out and talked with us and shared the history of the building, which made the Sunday after church "brunch" feel even more special. That personal touch meant a lot. She answered every question I had, including how they cook a medium‑rare steak (every chef has their own interpretation, lol). She also gave an honest answer when I asked whether the vegetables used at dinner come from their greenhouse. I got the California veggie pizza without mushrooms and added pepperoni, with gluten free crust. My husband got the same but not gluten free.
