We were supposed to done at ichiban but unfortunately it was closed at the time we went there so we try this place for lunch. The place though small, have a good size for seating. Not a lot of aesthetic decorations but it's clean. The service was prompt and and our server is polite, just a little rush sometimes. The goods were good and we all liked what we ordered. I'll eat here again in the future.

I almost forgot to take a picture, I'd already eaten a bunch before I took this.

The fried chicken is delicious!!! I always go meaning to try one of their other choices but the chicken is just so good. The food comes out in two waves, first the wings then the drumsticks. Kinda wish they also had thighs but that's fine. Every time I've gone the staff is nice. The place is pretty small but comfortable.

Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Prices were good and the chicken was hot and fresh. Better to call in your order ahead of time because everything is cooked fresh and you will have to wait if you order at the counter.

Amazing service and the food was DELICIOUS!!! I've been craving korean fried chicken and came across this spot nearby and it blew my mind how amazing the chicken was!! My favorite one was the sweet and spicy KFC, it was so crunchy and soft at the same time. I ordered the soy garlic too as spicy and man did it have a kick It was really good too but I recommend it if you have a high spice tolerance but if not get the mild . The tteokbokki was the best I've ever had!! The broth/sauce had a sweet and slightly spicy tang to it, it was addictive I'm ngl I kept scooping the broth to drink it I definitely recommend this place, the vibe was really mellow too and very clean inside check it out if you're craving KFC like how I was!

Menu pic, guess I deleted the food photo.

Tried this place with the family. It was pretty good. Went for dinner, the waiter was very helpful and friendly. The prices were a little more, but it's close by instead of going to San Jose. It's pretty small, but come again. I can see how some reviewers would comment on the unfriendly lady. Saw her in the back and yup, looks unfriendly. lol I'm sure it's a culture thing and they should keep the waiter dude to be their friendly face there. All in all a good experience.

The food was incredible with a true Korean feel to spice up the taste. The service was excellent with the servers always asking me if I needed anything else. The ambiance was nice and overall I would come back for Korean bbq or Korean fried chicken any day any time.

Super yummy. We liked the Yang Knum chicken (prefer the wings, only cause the drumsticks were huge). And Kimchi Jigee.

I recommend the $13 lunch specials. I think it's tempura dipping sauce but it was good on everything. Nice lady.

A former Arby's building yet very clean. We were the only people there. Early right? Don't let that fool you. The food is delicious! We had some juicy potstickers and a wonderful meal that we shared. #33. See the photo. A delightful warmed clay pot filled with deliciousness. It had 6 different cold yummy things to taste that were set around it. Like kimchi is one example. The prices are a bit high yet dishes can be shared too. They only had dark meat for chicken. Oh, if you want another experience get to the table top grill. It looks like fun! Our server Joey was great too!

This place is a nice find in Monterey Bay for those looking for their korean food fix…read more They got most of the usuals like your traditional bonchons, rice cakes and grilled meats. We wanted more of a small plate of galbi. Seems like they had this all-out grilled meat package which would've been the only focus of dinner. So wish they had a happy middle ground. We ended up getting the kimchi pancake, soondubu and bibimbap. Pancake was a bit on the sharp side, probably because of the kimchi. The soondubu didn't come with an egg, so be sure to ask for one. The tofu was definitely still, probably just the types of tofu that was available to them in the area. The kibimbap was actually pretty good. And the bonchons were spot on. The service here was very friendly. Like many korean restaurants, the wait staff is more than happy to help you prep your food at the table, which is a very nice and friendly touch. Overall, pretty average korean food and very friendly service. Its worth checking out.

Called in last minute to make reservation, was so nice to get the table ready for me within 40…read moreminutes for 7 people. Ordered pho, shaking beef, banh xeo, and others that I could not remember. Their pho was good, big portion and full of meat. Unfortunately the sirloin was overcooked and the other parts of the meat have too much fats in them, so it was down on the score. Their shaking beef was also meh, very thin and overly sweet, probably not their strongest dish. Banh xeo was full of meat and fillings, but not particularly crispy. All in all, it was tasty but only lacking a bit here and there. Their service was pretty good though. Their restaurants are also huge, which is a plus.

I was a big fan of this place when it first opened and used to rave about their pho. Unfortunately,…read moremy visit on 5/2 was a huge letdown. From the moment I walked in, the service began with a bad start. The staff were chatting and joking behind the counter and too distracted to notice me. I had to grab a menu myself and ask in a loud tone if I could sit anywhere just to get their attention. Once seated, it took nearly 10 minutes for a server to come by. I ordered a boba drink and pho with brisket. The server returned after another 8 minutes to say they were out of both the boba flavor I wanted and the brisket. After I reordered, the replacement boba arrived extremely sweet -- basically tasted like watered-down sugar syrup with almost no tea flavor. The pho was even more disappointing.. the broth was watery and bland, there was very little beef, and the bowl was light on noodles and toppings. It felt like a shadow of what they used to serve. It's sad to see a spot that was once one of the best pho places in Salinas (in my opinion) decline this sharply. The restaurant was unusually empty, and the few other customers looked just as unimpressed. I understand rising food and restaurant operating costs, but cutting quality this much will only drive more people away. I rarely leave negative reviews and I don't consider myself to be such a picky eater, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. I'm not sure I'll be back.
