Cool ambiance within Carr Mill Mall. Friendly staff. NY style Pizza and cheeseteaks were solid. Garlic knots were heavenly with delicious marinara. +1 for Cheerwine.

Grandma Style pizza

Ordered a grandma style pizza to be delivered through #tocdelivers. It arrived fresh hot and delicious. This is a unique pizza to the area, and I will say it is one of the better. The toppings are plentiful and the crust was crunchy and cooked perfectly. Do again for sure!

Our waitress was so kind and helpful as we were figuring out our pizza orders. We opted for the Funghi, Salsicca, Panna, and Margherita with added salami. When they served the pizzas, it looked like a wonderful collage of colors. It smelled so good, and it tasted even better! Each one of the pizzas stood out in its own way. The sauce on the margherita was so flavorful and savory, and the funghi pizza was very rich. But I would say the main star of the show was the crust. It was perfectly crunchy and chewy, and it wasn't too soggy. We demolished our pizzas at the end. The atmosphere was also light and bustling, with people sitting at the bar or the low tables with their pizzas. I would 100% come back to this restaurant!!

While there were some creative options available, I got classics. My salad was so large. It was difficult to keep it on the plate. The greens were delightfully fresh and thinly sliced cheese and candied pecans made for a dynamic taste experience. My margherita was sizable. The crust head just a hint of browning and it did come sliced. The ingredients here were quality. I did not like this place quite as much as the other Neapolitan place around the corner, but I don't have any complaints.

And the pizza is AMAZING and for the price it's really a local delicacy. The restaurant itself is super cozy and has tons of memorabilia all around, making it feel like a nice little spot to see. If you're in Chapel Hill, definitely check out IP3!!!

My wife remembered a…read morefoodie friend recommending this spot, especially for its wall of photos with famous visitors, so we decided to check it out. The restaurant sits on Franklin Street, right in the heart of Chapel Hill near UNC. It's a lively, walkable area filled with shops and restaurants. Parking can be a little tricky--we circled a few blocks before finding a gravel lot nearby (free after 6 p.m. and all day Sunday). Inside, the place had an old-school, authentic feel. The staff spoke Italian, which added to the vibe, and the red curved booths reminded me of classic pizza joints from my childhood. The menu is posted on the wall behind the counter, and you order before sitting down. We also noticed their most recent health score was a 99, which was reassuring. My wife ordered the chef's salad, and I went with the meat stromboli. Her salad was fresh, colorful, and much better than the iceberg lettuce you often get. She enjoyed it so much that she finished before my stromboli was ready. When mine came out, it was served on a pizza pan with a side of sauce--it looked and tasted great. It was also clear they do a strong takeout business, with lots of people picking up orders and the phone constantly ringing. Overall, the food was solid, the atmosphere memorable, and it felt like a local institution that's earned its recognition. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Chapel Hill.

This second time around I'm still waiting for pizza because I just ordered it, but I wanted to just take a second to thank the staff at the restaurant. Reason being is when I ordered just now, Yelp told me immediately afterwards that the place was closed for the next two hours. When I called to verify, Thomas was more than courteous and understanding. He then confirmed the entire order (so we dont regret NOT making it our business, smart man), and even threw in a free sauce. So thanks, guys, for killing it. Food is great, owner Thomas seems like he's on it.

That being said I'm not getting paid nor doing this place any sort of service exchange. Now that being said I'm doing my review of them just how I would anyone and will not have any special treatment and remember my reviews seem harsh but are actually honest and doesn't always mean I discourage trying them out. At the end y'all do your own opinion of them. 1- pizza is good price is not bad but dough quality in my opinion could be better but maybe it was a one thing missed in this incident but we will see once I try a different time. 2- we had pineapple on it and it was extremely sour and ruined the flavor of the pizza also it felt it hurt the cheese flavor made it more sour or it could have been the cheese but still not bad. 3 - the cheese sticks were actually delicious and well cooked and on the spot. 4 - we got chicken wings in those were near perfect, for the price and quantity and quality they were worth it and really well priced. Now that being said y'all should give them a chance and check them out, I'm sure they will get better in time and I would rather pay them then pay dominoes their outrageous prices for crappy pizza and always always messing up orders and not really caring.

What a gem! I…read morefound this restaurant through Yelp and decided to check it out and was truly impressed. I walked in and was greeted immediately. The place was busy and had Italian music playing in the background. It has tables and booths to the side with the main counter at front and you can smell the food as soon as you walk in. It immediately makes you hungry. We were seated at a booth and offered their free focaccia style bread with an olive oil accompaniment, which was delish. The bread was hot and crunchy, but not too much where you could still dip it in the olive oil. We then ordered a personal cheese pizza, the lasagna and the chicken parmigiana (which I didn't photograph). Everything was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and funny. I would def recommend coming here and checking it out.

This restaurant is very sweet and humble, hidden in a small strip mall. Though I wouldn't say it is…read morevery upscale and fine-dining esc in its interior design, the food could definitely stand as fine-dining material. The interior, however, is very casual and family friendly. I ordered a pasta dish consisting of cheese tortellini, pink vodka sauce, shrimp, and spinach. The tortellini was cooked to perfection, the cheese filling and the texture all together was very pleasing. The sauce was delicious and featured roasted cherry tomatoes, which were very flavorful. The spinach was also cooked perfectly, and complimented the vodka sauce very well. The shrimp, however, was very bland; it, strangely, was very crunchy. When eating, it almost had the taste and texture of a baby carrot. The focaccia served complimentary to the meal was delicious! It was light and fluffy. The oil and crushed sun-dried tomato served with the focaccia, though, was also very bland. This could possibly be the quality of the tomato, it may not have even been sun dried tomatoes in the oil, I did not think to ask. The food came out in a timely fashion and piping hot! The server was very kind and personable. One thing I'd like to note is that on the menu, sauce options included an 'Alfredo' sauce and a 'butter and cheese' sauce. Traditional 'Alfredo' sauce is butter and cheese, no other ingredients; so, this was a bit misleading and odd. Overall, I would recommend Magone and will be returning!
