The Regular Neapolitan is best. $3.00 can't be beat. 3 Stars is still a nice rating, people dont realize that.

Even a few fresh breads to add to the meal. Some are in freezer others fresh behind counter which can be frozen. We stocked up today. I used menu listing to order. I asked Anthoni about the products. Seems the my menu needs to be updated but all the items I'd chosen were available. I got them bagged though bringing your own is appreciated. I was glad I had kept my old menu. Paid with a credit card. Extra fees for that. ( see pix)

An Italian restaurant located on the main street of Downtown Farmingdale. Came on a weekday evening…read morefor early dinner and found street parking out in front. The place has a good amount of seating area including high tops, low booths, bar table, and a private room. There is also two unisex restrooms. I came with my boyfriend before an event at Farmingdale State College and we were on a time crunch. I made a reservation on OpenTable but it was not busy at all. We got greeted and seated immediately upon walking in. Then, a server came with ice water for the both of us before our actual waiter came to introduce herself and ask if we were ready to order. Shortly after ordering, the waitress brought us a plate of complimentary bread that comes with garlic on top and olive oil dip on bottom. We got the fried calamari which was perfectly battered (not too little nor too thick) and fried perfectly (not too burnt nor too pale). The taste was great and went well with the marinara sauce. The Clams Oreganata were delicious too - very meaty and flavorful with a nice sauce and lemon to squeeze on top. The Clams Vespa is very unique and creamy. It reminds me of a white Alfredo sauce with baked clams. They had a huge variety of drinks and it was hard for me to choose, but the lady recommended me the Sicilian Kiss which is a strawberry flavored cocktail. It is supposed to be on the sweeter side but the alcohol was strong too. As for our main entree, we got the Papperdelle Bolognese which was a veal, pork, beef ragu on ribbon pasta. Very well cooked and the taste and texture went perfectly together. We were so full, but never skip on dessert! I'm personally not a fan of cheesecake, but they have creme brulee cheesecake and rainbow cookie cheesecake which I would have loved to try if it wasn't for the cheesecake. But I was happy to find out I could order the rainbow cookie gelato that usually comes with the cheesecake. That was yummy! The texture reminded me of the cake mix Ice-Cream from Carvel and the flavor is not too strong. Overall, great vibes and service. Will definitely be back to the the pizza and other pastas.

Food was delicious and the drinks were fabulous. Thanksgiving Eve met up with my date at Nunzi's It was giving "Hot Stuff" -- literally. I walk in with my date, and before my coat even unbuttons, Donna Summer herself is serenading me like I'm about to strut down a disco runway. Perfect timing. We were the first ones in the restaurant, which honestly made me feel like they opened the whole establishment just for my convenience. The host said, "Pick any table." Baby, don't threaten me with a good time. I saw that corner booth--cute, cozy, and prime real estate for flirting like I'm auditioning for a romantic comedy--and I claimed it like the last good parking spot at Target. The vibe? Oh, this restaurant is so my ministry. Trendy, modern, dimly lit like they're doing me a personal favor. If you're a social media fanatic like me. The entire décor is basically screaming, "Make a reel, post a story, take a selfie sis." The soundtrack? Disco, 70s and 80s R&B, a sprinkle of house. My favorite genres. The stuff that makes you want to shimmy your shoulders while pretending you're not checking out your date's jawline. The drinks? Oh honey... I ordered a blueberry lavender margarita because lavender is my personality at this point. My date got a banana Jameson old fashioned. I asked for a sip, took a sip, then instantly contemplated snatching his whole glass and telling him to order something else. It was that good. I asked the waiter about the pineapple infused vodka. "Can you taste the alcohol?" He said, "No, and that's the problem." I said, "Say less." Sold. LMAO. Had it in a martini fashion. Now for the food. We started with the Oh My Garlic Bread. Except... Oh My, what happened? The cheese was barely melted and the bread wasn't toasted enough. I wanted feral, unhinged, cheese-pull, toasted bread madness. I got "this could've been great but someone clocked out early." Sadness. It did come with a side of their delicious sauce and spicy vodka sauce. But THEN... that fried burrata came out like Beyoncé at the Superbowl. Melty, gooey, fried perfection. Cheese is my favorite food group and that burrata had me emotionally compromised. We also got Grandma's Meatballs. Delicious and they held their own and in chunky tomato sauce, with a dollop of ricotta? Mama mia, yes. For pasta, the server suggested the spicy rigatoni or the linguine bolognese. We went bolognese, and baby... that plate was giving comfort, warmth, cozy blanket energy. Delicious. Finished the night with the chocolate chip cookie sundae. Great ending, but listen--at an Italian restaurant, my middle-aged spirit WANTED tiramisu or a cannoli. I'm traditional like that. Overall? Five glittery stars. I will absolutely be back--probably dragging my work bestie for a happy hour where we judge men and eat fried cheese.
