Again, I need to reiterate how much I love Pasta Time, home of my favorite ravioli. I moved away from Bethpage to Ridgewood (Queens) last fall and still make a point of stopping by when I'm home to visit my family. My husband and I love making pizza. In a pinch, we've used dough from supermarkets (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Best Yet) and some of our neighborhood bakeries sell it, too. Our favorite is the dough from Pasta Time. Though most people wouldn't comment on the flavor of something as seemingly bland as pizza dough, the dough from Pasta Time tastes better and fresher, and is generally easier to work with. We also love their tomato sauce--so much better than anything you get out of a can or jar. The staff is always friendly, and they recognized me from my last Yelp! review, which made me smile. read more

Very good Italian specialty deli. They make some pretty good sandwiches too but their pastas, ravioli and stuffed breads are the gotos. I only wish they'd throw a couple of bucks into updating the place. Doesn't look like that's been done since it was built. read more

The creamiest filling in fresh stuff shells. The ravioli are amazing, had plain & the lobster. Meatballs are on the large side, they very tasty prob made w pecorino romano cheese but not overly salty. Deli area always clean & fresh. Bread is also super fresh and choice Italian or Semolina. I really wanted to like this place Because it's very close to my home. But I couldn't get over how bad the rice ball was that I ordered today. The rice was hard and there was not enough cheese and the filling had no flavor. Thank God for the sauce which was pretty good that they put on top of it otherwise I would've thrown it away. A really great little place for fresh pasta, sauce, assorted salads, etc. The flavored ravioli are frozen, and they're good. But the main reason I go is the plain ravioli, which is not frozen. Being used to frozen ravioli, my mind was blown by the texture and flavor of the cheese. Words can't describe. I don't normally get so worked up over food but these are a simple delight that you should try. I'd like to point out that I'm not a connoisseur; the differences between fresh ravioli and frozen that I've attempted to describe aren't subtle, and I think anyone could tell the difference. I don't want to undersell them on their other offerings. Everything else I've had from there has been good. The people that work there are all nice, too. read more

My first review ever. One of the worst deli sandwiches I've had in recent years. I could barely identify the lettuce and tomato I ordered with the chicken cutlet and Swiss cheese. The cutlet barely covered 3/4 of the roll and the cheese was so thin you could use it for tracing paper. read more

I work nearby and have been there several times essentially due to limited choice of where to go. Friends always steered me away for one or more reasons but I tried them 5 or 6 times. First off, don't order or buy the roast beef. Ransid. The lettuce on a hero I purchased was rotten. I see trucks delivering ravioli and macaroni so I do not believe they make their own. Reading reviews regarding their sauce has been tempting but never will purchase. Don't trust them. The older mid height plump guy with the greyish short hair has quite the mouth and attitude. When I mentioned my experience to a friend he told me that he recently went there and bought a sandwich which had rotten, slimy meat on it and went back right away to complain. We got the ravioli special yesterday. My 6 year old son kept telling me what a great cook I was and how this was his favorite dinner ever.
