How he was half way through his meal before she noticed and her excuse was she didn't see the glass. He was critiquing how you have to be more observant and attentive. How he is a server and he gets being busy, but you still need to pay attention to your surroundings. Well I ordered my daughter spaghetti with the sauce and meatball on the side. He brought it with the sauce and meatball on top and his excuse was he didn't hear me. He then didn't offer or refill my drink once. Infact because of his story I made a point to lift my glass when he came over and he still didn't refill it. Well over 20 minutes with an empty glass. He had 3 tables and one was regulars. The icing to my grip I also ordered a Diet Pepsi which is what was on the fountain but it was definitely a Pepsi Zero, all my fellow diet soda drinkers know, there is a difference and we have a preference. If your ok with good food but mediocre service it's fine, but don't expect more.

We initially thought it was a sit-down restaurant, but it's mainly set up for takeout. When the owner, Carmine, realized we were hoping to sit, he kindly offered to clear tables that were holding pizza boxes so we could enjoy our meal there. We told him we were happy to take it home, but that thoughtful gesture really stayed with us. We both ordered chicken Parmesan with pasta, and our meals came with garlic knots. Everything was absolutely delicious! The portions were so generous that we each had enough for another full dinner the following night--and enjoyed it all over again. Delicious food, generous portions, and warm hospitality give this place a wonderful personal touch. Thank you, Carmine and family, for making our first visit such a pleasant experience. When I arrived, the girl behind the counter asked the cook if the order was ready, and he said no. The two of them then got into an argument in front of customers about when she was supposed to press a button in the system to notify Grubhub that the food was ready. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. They apologized and told me they hadn't even started the food yet, so it would be another 15-20 minutes. I waited patiently in my car, went back in, and the food was finally hot, so I rushed home. Once I opened my meal, I realized they gave me the wrong order. Instead of the ziti and eggplant meal I ordered, they gave me plain baked ziti -- and it was very dry. I called immediately, and the girl told me they could remake it, but only if I drove all the way back. After already waiting an extra 20 minutes, I asked if there was another option. She said they could offer a gift certificate, but only when the manager returned. She promised the manager would call me. I never heard from anyone. The next day I called again and was told the manager wouldn't be in until Wednesday. I waited, and Wednesday came and went with no follow-up at all. For a $20 order, the situation could have been handled so easily. Instead, I listened to staff arguing, received the wrong meal, and then got zero accountability or customer service afterward. They even tried to blame the Grubhub system until they finally admitted they could see I did order eggplant and ziti. What happened to simply taking care of the customer? We've been coming here for years, but after this experience, we won't be back. Plenty of other Italian restaurants know how to treat people better.
