We have always ordered from Village pizza, my husbands family has ALWAYS ordered from this place. However as of late, we keep getting rude staff, our order is always forgotten about because we usually order thru Grub hub. But tonight was absolutely ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. We placed our order at 7pm, it was 9 something. My husband called, asking when our pizza would be delivered. He was than told the order never came thru their system. For them to turn around and call to tell us it was out for delivery. So we waited til 9:30, and NO PIZZA. My husband went to Village pizza in person. Asking to just get our pizza. The " owner" who my husband said spoke to him in a very condescending manner. Told him they wouldn't make his pizza and it was grub hubs issue. When my husband left, they PROCEED to follow him to his car. Still belittling etc. What kind of business does that? Especially to people who have been buying locally from this place for years. Absolutely HORRENDOUS customer service at Village Pizza on Forest Oaks. I called at 5:30 this was my order: -Large Pizza with light sauce -fried calamari -breadsticks with cheese -cheese ravioli with marinara on the side. We spent $75 between the order, delivery fee, and tip top y the driver. When it was delivered the "cheese ravioli" was plain penne noodles. I called them explained the situation and asked them simply to either refund the cheese ravioli or send the driver back out with the correct order. The lady then put the "manager" on the phone who said I would have to "bring the noodles in as proof it was wrong " I said I would happily send a picture of the food which is clearly in your containers and asked for a number or email to send it to, he replied he wouldn't give a number or email and again that I would have to drive to their location as "proof" I said we paid $75 for food, tip, and DELIVERY of our food from your location and you can't stand by your food and services, that is disgusting. Male on the phone took my order and said it would be ready in 6 minutes which was about the time it took me to get there. When I came in to pick it up, this young guy told me he sold my pizza slices to someone else that just walked in. Very good pizza, decent quantity of toppings, and usually ready on time, but a bit on the pricey side. Would suggest they include a piece of pita bread with the side salad like other places. I have been searching Springhill for a satisfying pizza experience. A ton of the typical chains, but these guys are privately owned, and have really good pizza. Even though it's busy, they are attentive and friendly with customers. It is strictly to go (I assume they have delivery) no dine in experience. One of the guys that's always there, always makes me feel like my order is important and getting it right is all that matters. 3rd time attempting to get food from here. Needless to say 3rd time I left with no food. Ordered a pizza for the utility line locators I work with. Places the order at 11:13am. Was told 20 to 30 minutes. Arrived at 11:37am. Pizza wasn't even in the oven and the woman who was assembling it attempted to say it was only ordered 10 to 15 minutes ago WHAT DID I EXPECT. We only get a 30 for a lunch. It wasn't going to work. If you can tell I arrived almost in the middle (less 1 minutes) of the time frame given. I decided to cancel. I asked how much it would be to cancel and was ready to pay. The extremely RUDE mainly bald woman said it obviously costs nothing to cancel. So I said to please cancel. I couldn't accommodate the new timeframe. As I'm leaving the mainly bald woman said to the woman holding the infant (in a kitchen with other peoples food) WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? Shocked I actually heard her I stopped and told her exactly what THAT was by saying I ordered with enough time and couldn't accommodate the new t timeframe is exactly what the fuck that was. I also told her maybe she should make sure the customer actually LEFT before slewing curse words towards that customer. I also told her that this was my 3rd attempt at getting food from this place and of this is how customers are treated them I'd be happy to NOT SPEND money there as long as I reside here and I'd be more than happy to go out of my way in telling all 17 Hernando county crew members how disrespectful this place is. I usually never leave a review unless I am extremely pleased or utterly disappointed. Village Pizza on Deltona in Spring Hill did unfortunately leave a very bad taste in my mouth! I made the mistake of ordering a spaghetti with meatballs dinner. My husband ordered the ricotta cheese stuffed shells. The spaghetti with meatballs had a funny smell to it. There was hardly any sauce, but even more sauce couldn't have helped with any flavor. The meatballs were so hard because of all the bread crumbs and whatever else they put in them. My husband's stuffed shells weren't any better as they had a very sour taste to them. I wish I could go back and order the pizza instead. The food didn't even LEAVE the restaurant until an hour after it was ordered (I called to check), and didn't get to my home (literally 5 minutes from the place at most, in traffic, and catching every red light) until I had to go to work almost an hour and a half later. They didn't give sauce with the calzone, messed up the ingredients in my sub, the driver just took my whole $20 without asking if I needed change (The order wasn't near $20). When we called to complain, and expressed that we wouldn't be coming here anymore, the girl on the phone just said "ok" and hung up. TERRIBLE SERVICE. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. Village Pizza on Deltona has been around for a long time in Spring Hill and was recommended by a lot of people (including Mr. Pizza again) so it had to be tried. I liked that they let us order a half cheese/half pepperoni. Very accommodating. We had a meat pizza as well (pictured) as a take out. It's a thinner crust pizza; very much like a New York style. Unfortunately, I just couldn't get into this pizza. I know that a lot of you love it, and it wasn't that I didn't enjoy it. It's just didn't do anything to excite me. It was ever so slightly overcooked and the ingredients just didn't seem as fresh as some of the other pizzas I had. It's possible that I may have caught them on an off night, but they didn't quite break into the top 5 and probably wouldn't be on my rotation as I feel there are better pizzas out there for the style that they do. read more

The cheese, which was congealed by the time it got to me, kinda just sat on top and slid right off instead of nicely melting and sticking to the dough. The taste was ok. I ordered from here accidentally. I wasn't paying attention online. There is another pizza placed named "Pizza Villa" and from which everyone needs to order. My big mistake for having ordered from Village Pizza. I want to understand the positive reviews. But I don't. I got two average pizzas (no special, fancy orders) and a garlic cheese bread. The pizza crust is sopping and when lifted, a slice limps down immediately with the weight of its average toppings - I mean the toppings slid off the entire slice up until the "crust". The dough seems very previously frozen and tastes like how the cardboard box smells. The garlic cheese bread is overwhelmed with parm and garlic it's like licking a salt block and the bread is tough and hard to bite. I literally spit out my one-half bite of garlic bread. So, I threw away two below-average pizzas and an entire garlic cheese bread order (I threw away $37) straight into the rubbish and drove to the proper pizza restaurant with freshly made dough and ingredients = Pizza Villa. Village Pizza was a $37 lesson for not paying better attention. The ONLY reason for a star rating was the marina sauce. It was somewhat redeemable. For all you "The Office" fans out there, Pizza Village is the "Pizza by Alfredo" and Pizza Villa is the real deal "Alfredo's Pizza Cafe". Save your money. read more
