They charge you full price for added toppings even if you only get it on half the pizza. Having kids we get toppings on half the pizza often and every other pizza joint on the planet charges you half price if you only get it on half the pie. Also, they don't take American Express, the only credit card I typically carry, so had to use the debit card. Pizza was mediocre. Unrelated to this particular establishment, Myrtle Beach has the lamest law I've ever heard of: no sun canopies. They've outlawed shade. We just bought a second home here and we were in hopes of finding a great neighborhood place that delivers good food. WE STRUCK GOLD! So first we called to place an order and the gentleman who took our order was totally first class. He took his time and answered all of our questions (we did not have a menu). Very kind and lots of care in making sure we got what we wanted. Food was delivered to us in a record speed by the same gentleman who helped us. Food was great but even if it had sucked we would still recommend this place for the pure customer service of 100 percent . We ordered a large pizza, sub sandwich and drink. If I could give less than one star I would this place is a joke, I called about ordering a crustless pizza being low-carb and get there and they make a pizza with a crust and the manager on duty Carly tells me that I'm gonna pay for it and then proceeds to call the cops. We sat there for 10 minutes waiting on the cops and I get a new bill without the pizza. Carly then decides that I am her "sweetheart" and calls me that twice. My family ended up here because the restaurant next door had a long wait and I am so glad!! We had cheese pizza, garlic-cheese bread, garden salad, and chicken Greek salad. The salad was so fresh. We could tell the ingredients were very fresh and the dressing was really good. The pizza was very, very good and the bread was really good too. Looking for pizza in Myrtle is tough, because its either chains or places you don't know. We tried this one as we stay on Shore Drive off Lake Arrowhead and it was close. It did not disappoint. We ordered from here twice during our stay. Tried the antipasta salad which was loaded with meats and had a mixture of pizza ranging from plain cheese, pepperoni, sausage and deluxe. The pizza is almost thin crust but it was loaded with toppings and tasted pretty good. The prices were a bit high as 4 large pizzas and 2 salads cost around $100, but no pizza is cheap down here. My husband went there to surprise me for celebration surprise. Benito was closed so he went here Instead. The pizza was amazing!! Best I have had at the beach and I do love my pizza. Great pie ! Be sure get there early or you'll eat standing up. Fun place to enjoy a beach meal , no dress up place here.

The pasta was ok it was cold when it came out but other wise it was pretty good. And a nice outside sitting area.

Pizza Chef is good old pizza. Nothing special good or bad ...... just pizza. Grilled chicken salad was good also.

Daughter wanted pizza our last night in Myrtle Beach. Pizza Chef was close to where we were staying and had good reviews. We started with garlic knots. We only ordered six; I could have eaten a dozen by myself. My wife and I had the Greek salad with gyro meat and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. It was really good. Daughter had the meat lovers calzone and gave it a 9 out of 10 (note that it was a lot of food for one person). I've subtracted one star because they didn't have unsweetened tea. This is the NASTIEST and LAZIEST PLACE EVER! Ordered a buffalo chicken sub with fries, didn't get fries... cheesesteak sub with AMERICAN CHEESE with some nasty wet soggy fries, who makes a cheesesteak sub with half melted American cheese? It's suppose to be mozzarella!.... Sampler was nasty, taste like old grease that ain't been changed in years, mozzarella sticks tasted like they were out of date, and onion rings were not cooked all the way.... also got a buffalo chicken calzone and the cheese was not melted at all and after two bites, I got sick to my stomach... the delivery driver called and asked to come outside to get our food when we asked if they come to our door. I also called to complain and never got a answer, phone just kept ringing. I will be calling in the morning. We paid $60 for shitty service and nasty uncooked food! read more

Pizza Chef Gourmet Pizza was great. Appears to be a family run operation with quality thin crust New York style pizza. The wings were fried so they are crispy not mushy baked wings a lot of pizza places try to pass off as wings. Big variety of different pies. I can't wait to go again for a sub or calzone. If you want quality food and don't want to spend 2+ hours trying to eat out this is your place. I walked in and had a beer while waiting to carry out and the delivery orders poured in. So if the dining room/patio is empty (like when I was there) don't worry it's not a sign of the quality. read more

Horribly overpriced and extremely underwhelmed. Small pizza and 6 wings for almost $30 with no knowledge it would be that much and wings did not have much meat on bone and sauce and pizza toppings fell right off.
