    Flatbread

Came here expecting an upscale restaurant but was greeted with more of a diner feel. The furniture was old and worn. The menu however was for a more upscale restaurant with upscale pricing. Our server was nice but not very friendly. She didn't seem to enjoy her job or want to be there serving us, but again she was nice. I got the wings, my wife got the scallops, and my daughter the flatbread. The wings were average nothing to write home about and the flatbread tasted like undercooked dough with canned tomato sauce and cheese on it. My wife's scallops however looked pretty good and she had no complaints. It's an OK place to go if you had limited options but if you wanted to celebrate a special occasion and wanted to impress your date I'd probably pick another venue. I did like that they had craft beers on the menu.

Hotel food, on a whole, is usually mid grade pub food at a 5-star price. I was forced to eat at the hotel due to a time constraint. They sat me at a table with a spectacular view which, alone, was worth eating there. The waiter was very attentive and hospitable. So far, so good....then the food came. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries figuring ketchup would cover a host of sins. I have never er been happier to be proven completely wrong. It is one of the top 5 burgers I have ever eaten! No gimics, no exotic toppings...just a well seasoned and expertly cooked patty smothered in cheese and topped with bacon.....no ketchup neccessary. What an unexpected and lovely surprise. I would definitely eat there again!!

We stopped in here yesterday after arriving for our weekend beach trip and Family Reunion in Myrtle Beach, SC. This restaurant is located in the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort and offers beautiful setting with panoramic views of the beachfront of the resort including stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The Hostesses and chefs were very nice and welcoming from the time we walked in the door and the Hostesses wished us a good day on our way out. It wasn't really crowded when we arrived because it was for a later lunch but I understand that they are quite full for dinner. They have a pretty standard menu. I ordered the calamari to start with and the Turkey Club with Chips. Our waitress, Erica, was nice but it took entirely to look for us to get our food and she would be forgetful of several accompanying items and condiments we asked for when she took the order. She never really came to check on it after finally bring the food to the table. We waited for nearly 25 minutes before receiving the first food item. The Turkey Club eventually arrived way before the calamari to the point where I just asked her to forget the calamari because it had taken so long and we had other festivities to attend with our family and had a short window of time to enjoy lunch before moving on to them. I must say that I tried some of my lunch date's fries that were served with a burger of her's and they were absolutely fantastic. I actually enjoyed them more than I did the chips and we ended up swapping my chips for her fries. Everything, once received, was quite delicious. The lack of superior services makes this beautiful restaurant with delicious food quite sub-par. Overall, I think it's an excellent choice for lunch. I'm yet to sample their dinner or breakfast menus, but I love how convenience it is for those of us residing at the Hilton Resort here on Myrtle Beach during our vacation.

What a fabulous place to grab a delicious dinner. Beach views galore! The waitstaff are extremely friendly!

The staff and views are great at this Oceanside cafe. I had a very nice breakfast buffet in this Hilton Resort restaurant. I opted for the optional omelette that was fantastic.

Awful separated biscuits and gravy. !!
    Chef Peter Z.

Terrible biscuits and gravy cream was added cold and it separated. Cream needs to be reduced and a proper slurry made. This was a poor effort and was cold. Yucksville was open.

Waitress was wonderful. Food is bland. Convenient if you're a guest. Overpriced beer. Go elsewhere if you have the choice.

We made eye contact with both bartenders multiple times while sitting there, and they completely ignored us. Not once did anyone acknowledge us, ask if we needed a drink, or even say they'd be right with us. It wasn't like the bar was slammed either--we were just... invisible. After sitting there long enough realizing we clearly weren't going to be served, we left. Pretty disappointing experience, especially during an event when you'd expect staff to be attentive.

The staff are all super friendly and the place itself is an awesome firehouse with tons of TVs and sports on. On to the food, we got tons of wings like buffalo, old bay, thai chili and they were all really solid. We also got grouper fish sticks and nachos which were good too but the wings were the better appetizer. The Ribeye steak sandwich was really awesome, a really good piece of meat grilled to a nice medium rare, as i was eating it I asked myself why i even got it as a sandwich because the meat was soo good alone. The fries are also very crispy. They have a nice beer selection but I think blue moons were $8-9 on draft so they added up quick! Would definitely come back again next year!

We just visited for the 2nd time and realized I never posted a review from our first visit…read more 1st visit we sat at one of the pub top tables by the bar with all the TVs over it. Our wait staff was Makenzie and she was great! We had fried pickles as an appetizer. Came out quick and breaded just right. I had the Cheeseburger Sliders Basket - 3 mini burgers topped with American cheese, mustard, ketchup and pickles. Served with a French fries and coleslaw. My daughter had the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Sub - grilled chicken breast cubed and sautéed with onions, banana peppers, jerk seasonings and melted Provolone cheese. Served on a sub roll with lettuce and homemade pineapple cilantro salsa with pub chips. 2nd visit- It has been about 2 months from our first visit. We were at a booth this time. We had a tv designated just for our booth. The TVs are number and you can have them change the channel for your table. Our one of the large TVs if you don't have your own tv. I had the Gamecock - grilled chicken sandwich topped with bacon, melted Provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch dressing on a brioche bun. Very good sandwich. My husband had the French Dip - roast beef and Provolone cheese baked on a sub roll with caramelized onions and served with au jus. Bobby was our server. He was attentive and nice. Good food in a clean sports bar.

This was my first visit to Dagwood's in North Myrtle Beach. I stopped in after 8 p.m. on a Monday,…read moreso I realize late evenings on a weeknight can feel a little different from peak hours. I was greeted quickly and directed to a seat at the bar. The same staff member soon brought me water and poured a 10-ounce Dirty Myrtle IPA, a local double IPA on tap. She made sure I knew it was a smaller pour, which I appreciated. The beer itself was very good. After getting a menu, I ordered the fish and chips, which is usually my go-to when trying a pub for the first time. The plate looked great when it arrived: four large pieces of fried cod (enough for two people, really), fries, a big pickle spear, two cups of tartar sauce, and coleslaw. The coleslaw deserves special mention. It was excellent--honestly one of the best I've had anywhere. Fresh, balanced, and really flavorful. The fish arrived hot and the first bite was very good: flaky cod with a crisp exterior. As I worked further into it, though, I realized the batter was thicker than I personally prefer. Instead of a light, crispy coating, it was heavier and softer underneath the crust, and as the fish cooled that became more noticeable. The fries were decent but seemed like they had been sitting under heat for a bit. Not bad, just not as hot and crisp as they could have been. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and it seems like a good place to meet friends or catch a game. Service at the bar was polite but fairly minimal, and my total was just over $27 for the beer and fish and chips, which felt a little high for the overall depth of the meal. Overall, it was a mixed experience: good vibe, great coleslaw, decent fish, but not quite a standout meal for me. I'll likely give Dagwood's another try and explore other items on the menu. And when I do, I'll definitely order that coleslaw again.
