The food was amazing and the service was even better. I was greeted as soon as I came in and sat down immediately. My waitress was super sweet and gave me great suggestions on what I should try. I would definitely come back and try something else.
We came on an off-night, walking into some type of musical bingo. A good surprise! The restaurant was a short walk from our condo and is beautifully decorated. I have the Margarita pizza, and my picky NY taste buds highly approved. The crust was nicely charred but a a little soggy. The basil was appropriately the star of the show. The sugar daddy's fish sandwich was superb. Coleslaw was decent but Mac and Cheese unfortunately had some processed cheese notes. A white cheddar would have been delicious! Our server was excellent, especially considering he took a bit of time to discuss real estate with us. We will be back next time we are in the area!
Came in to grab some small plates to share with my sisters. The waiter was slammed and therefore he wasn't as attentive as he could have been. Although it took a while for him to take our order the kitchen staff worked quickly. We ordered the seafood dip, pretzel, and hush puppies. The hush puppies were AMAZING we should have doubled the order, the pretzel was good too, but the seafood dip was a little too fishy. The interior was clean and appealing. They offered table and partial booth options and they also offer outdoor seating.
The vibe of Black Drum is inviting from the moment you walk in the door. Our server Delaney was on point and helpful with recommendations and walking us through the menu Food come out in a very reasonable time frame and every bite was delicious 10/10!
Good service. The host and waitress were friendly and informative. Food had mixed reactions. Over several days staying in the property I was able to try a variety of items. Cobb salad with salmon. This was the best selection I had. Plentiful toppings. Very tasty. Would get again even though the salmon was dry. Burger. Pretty good. Good quality Brisket and wings. A bit dry and the sauces for the wings weren't great. Wouldn't try again. Drinks were really good. Great flavors and they don't skimp on the pour. Surprisingly, the passed apps and items for a dinner party we attended were great. They were so much better than the items ordered for seated meals during regular hours. I'd go for a party, but probably not for a regular meal.

There was then some confusion about if there was a wait time or not so we just asked if we could sit at the bar and order at the bar and they said fine, so that's what we did. We were just about to walk away but we had walked here from our resort and it was getting late so we stuck it out. Got some menus and went to order at the bar and one of the previous groups that cut us tried to cut in front of me again! This time I wasn't having it and called them out and thankfully the bartender responded to me and took my order. From there everything was uphill. First ordered a Beer Flight (4) for $14 I believe. - New South Dirty Myrtle (7/10) - Legal Remedy Peach on the Pier (6/10) And then asked for their two highest selling and they gave me; - Side Hustle Brewing Hustle Lite (4/10) - Tidal Creek Harmonic Hefeweizen (6/10) Then we ordered the BBQ Platter for 3/6ppl ($77) and it was delicious. We were accidentally given it in a To go Pizza box, but that turned out pretty cool actually. Dishwasher was also out of service so we got paper plates instead of glassware. No big deal. Overall, enjoyed the food, the place is really nice inside and out and fed a family of 4 for about $100 (not including tip). The staff was friendly as well, but they were definitely short handed (it's spring break) but we've been experiencing that all over MB for this week. If the operation was run a little tighter, less confusion in the front, probably closer to 4 stars.
We were at Black Drum to enjoy live music and Oktoberfest. My sister and I shared the fish and chips. Clearly we were too excited to take a photo when the food arrived. It was delish!! All of the homemade dips were yummy. The patio was great with live music and an awesome vibe and great beer selection!! They were very busy but the staff were great. Highly recommend...
I first ended up heading to Black Drum because I wanted to visit a brewery I had never been to. Man, am I glad I did!! When you head down to the brewery, you have to stop at a little guard house to get a placard for your car because they are in a gated area They have a wonderful inside seating area as well as a fully stocked bar. Their menu is wonderful, but the pizzas are what caught my eye. I ordered the honeysuckle pizza because of the truffle oil that is drizzled on top. It was so amazing that I went back the next day and ordered two to take home. The service was great, and the pricing was very fair. The outdoor seating area was very nice. They are connected to a resort, so the pool is directly behind the brewery. But you do have a nice meal of the ocean from the outdoor seating. I would highly recommend going here if you were in the north Myrtle Beach area and are a pizza or beer fan!!
We ordered food from here last night and it was absolutely terrible. This Cesear salad was nearly $30 with shrimp and it was swimming in dressing (see picture). We tried to make up for it by going back tonight and trying it again, but they couldn't seat us despite at least 10 open tables visible. Super disappointing. Needless to say, won't be back!!!!
The atmosphere and setup of this place is ideal. A great spot to spend a day hanging out, enjoying the pool, sunshine, and a lengthy beer list and ok BBQ. The food was just ok. Service was great and the facility is clean and beautiful.
The first meal of my vacation started with a perfect plate! The servers were happy to do what they loved. The restaurant was very..very.. clean despite the sheer amount of people there. The wait for our meal wasn't long at all. The staff and management moved with efficiency and enthusiasm. This created the perfect restaurant experience. 10 out of 10 for me! Please Try their Mac and Cheese and Brisket! You will thank me later
We went for the special all you can eat Easter Menu and couldn't eat it all! We chose to sit outside with a view over the hotel pool and of the ocean (weather was perfect). Service was great (Avery was our server), we were able to eat at our own pace. She checked in often to make sure we were okay but was not intrusive. We were stuffed and happy, but forgot to take photos of the mains and sides (see menu posted). One small issue, the mains and sides were not as warm as we would have liked, but our bad for not requesting they reheat. We will definitely go back and try the regular menu.
Really not sure why the negative reviews. Took a break from the beach and pool to eat lunch here. Service was good. It's nice that it's connected to the pool so we ate outside. Omg I literally was wowed by the chicken sandwich when I took a bite. The sandwich had a huge piece of thigh chicken, the inside was moist but with a nice crunchy outside, the sauce had a good flavor and they included cole slaw as a topping which added to the flavor and different texture to a normal chicken sandwich. My daughter tasted it as well and she thought it was amazing. The Margherita pizza was also really good. I liked the thin crust which kinda tasted like thin garlic bread. Such a good lunch! We came back for dinner to try different items from the menu and it was again delicious. We also tried the brisket and one of the salads. read more

We ate multiple meals this weekend while staying at the Embassy. The staff were very polite, helpful, and efficient. We sat Inside and outside. We enjoyed both atmospheres. We tried multiple dishes. Our favorite was the ribs overall. Bathrooms super clean. We will be back in six months and will eat here again. It's very convenient to the hotel. read more

I first ended up heading to Black Drum because I wanted to visit a brewery I had never been to. Man, am I glad I did!! When you head down to the brewery, you have to stop at a little guard house to get a placard for your car because they are in a gated area They have a wonderful inside seating area as well as a fully stocked bar. This place was freaking amazing. The vibe is great and service is amazing - shout out David our British waiter super nice guy. We came back to this place two days in a row. I don't even like chicken and waffles but this was the best waffle I've had in my life like a gourmet waffle cabin. The ribs were delicious and I was blown away by everything. Wow. The brisket here is fantastic. Knocked our socks off. We had both the burger and the sandwich and both were great. Modern restaurant and bar with good lighting and great ambiance. The service was top notch both friendly and professional. Davis was on top of it and did an excellent job. 50 beers on tap, wine, and bourbons. Can't go wrong. read more
Awesome tap house with an amazing ocean/pool view. Delicious brick oven pizza and bubbly. It's located inside of a private country club but if you say you are coming for the restaurant they will give you a decal for your car and let you in. read more
Bartenders (Jason was 1 of 2) were great, making suggestions and giving drink/sample tastings. It was a quiet Monday night, but the atmosphere was very nice. If the weather was nice, the outside would be amazing. My seasonal seafood ravioli was delicious! With shrimp and salmon read more

Went to Black Drum's first Oktoberfest last evening and it was so much fun. The band was great not too loud not too quiet and played great music. Of course the beer choices are always amazing and the food was delicious. With it being the first one I'm sure there were a few speed bumps, however, all staff were pleasant smiling and I saw many upper level. Staff mingling through the crowd, making sure everything was just right, including the head chef tip and Cesar not sure if his title the bartenders smiled all evening and had great suggestions for the beers.! hope they plan doing more events like this and at least do another Oktoberfest next year. Great job. read more

Honeysuckle Pizza and snores Old Fashioned was amazing! The pizza was the best I'd ever had. The pizza comes with five cheeses and honey truffle glaze. We went back and got a few to go. The waiter Jason was absolutely amazing and entertaining. He helped up pick out the best drinks and food. The brewery has TVs set up inside for watching your favorite sports and outdoor seating to enjoy the ocean view! read more

Beautiful spot in Kingston resort, prompt service, lovely craft choices and to top it off delicious BBQ. My spouse enjoyed the brisket burger and couldn't stop talking about it I enjoyed the brisket plate with sides yummy Definitely will go back for special occasions read more
Wow! Everything was soooo good. I've not ever been a fan of pork skin but their version served up fresh with a pimento cheese dip was definitely a game changer! I loved the convenience of the walk up window and the fact that I could choose a wider variety of food items to enjoy while we were enjoying the day at the water park. Great selection of adult beverages and the wings were meaty and well seasoned/sauced so were ordered them more than once. Service was pleasant even when they were incredibly busy, relatively quick and within the stated time frame. read more

We sat outside and for this weather it was perfect. Nice ambiance and a little breeze. Our server was great and took good care of us. Gave us plenty of time to enjoy our food. We started with the seafood dip. Served with pizza crust dippers. (Yum) Drinks were good. I had the blood orange old fashion and my forever date had the peach sweet tea. The brisket was very tender and the jalapeños on top gave it a nice bite. The potatoes were definitely a good choice as well. The Carolina gold chicken sandwich was also great. Served with coleslaw on top. Other recommendations are the green beans. They were all gone. The Mac and cheese was good. I'm not a Mac and cheese eater that's why I say good. Impromptu stop as we just arrived to N. Myrtle Beach, and it started to sprinkle. We sat outside under the umbrella tables and ordered pizza which was delicious! We opted to add pepperoni to one side for our kiddo. We had great service and the entire staff was very kind and personable. The only thing I would say that was slightly concerning was in the crossword puzzle in the children's menu one of the words was cocktail. All in all - great venue with a wonderful selection for food and beverages. read more

The food here wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. For those kind of prices, it should be at least good. Plus, it took a while for us to receive our food. I had the ribs, coleslaw and mac n cheese. They gave us 4 bottles of bbq sauce for the table. I've never seen bbq sauce so watery; it was very running with zero thickness. Odd. The outside is nice, but the inside of the place has a food court type vibe. They do have live music though. Also, the staff was friendly. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place. read more
