This is my go to weekly pizza shop. The pizza here is great and the wings are fantastic. My usual order is a large cheese pizza, a small shrimp Alfredo pizza, and old bay wings. My favorite item is the old Bay wings. The wings are juicy, and always cooked right. They are seasoned to perfection on each order. I have had other old bay wings in the area and none of them are as good, but you could find some better or less expensive. The cheese pizza is a good pie. The sauce is vegan and it always comes piping hot. The shrimp pizza is a favorite of my wife. She usually sprinkles a bit of old bay on it and enjoys it. I have ordered from this location over 10 times and I am never disappointed with my order. I have had a few items that I wasn't happy with, but I was just trying them to see what else I may like on the menu. Overall, I rate this locationa 4.5 out of 5 I will be returning frequently. read more

I've been getting pizza boli ads for years but never tried it. Today I had "The Meal Buster" pizza with garlic sauce and sauce on the whole pizza (DoorDash options) and the pizza is phenomenal. Excellent food and service! We had the new Gyro over rice and it was delicious!! The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly.

I ordered delivery for the first time. I usually just go there myself and pick up my order but was tired this time. At the time I placed my order I didn't realize how foggy it was outside! They delivered in a reasonable amount of time, and the pizza was delicious. I don't always get pizza; sometimes it's a sandwich or maybe a calzone, and a salad. Since moving to VA from NJ, I have given up finding a decent Italian sub. Jimmy Johns and Wegmanns are about as good as it gets. Today I tried Pizza Boli on Huntington Ave, Alexandria. Price was comparable to most other places. Bread was actually decent. There was not much meat, maybe 3 slices of each. One meat was ham, the other remains a mystery. It was supposed to be salami. I have never seen salami like this. Had texture and skin like bologna, but didn't taste like either meat. Overloaded with lettuce and raw onion. This was probably the worse Italian sub I have ever had. The service was quick and very courteous though. I am still in search of a good sub! read more

some people on the call say everything is halal in chicken. some people say only chicken on pizza is halal. I was cheated by selling chicken tenders which is not halal. This trash doesn't deserve even one star! I have never had pizza so nasty in my life..the cheese smelled and looked aged. The crust crumbled, even when "fresh" and they charge for specialty toppings , yet leave it off of the pizza. I will never go back here, the one off of Dale Blvd set the bar way too high for this trash place to ever reach it. Do not waste your time here, I'm sure the workers are just as bad as the quality of the food. If you're in the area, go to Walmart and get a box pizza. read more

Customer service is rude and long call lines . If you mess up an order they put you on hold for 7 mins and then you have to call again just for them to tell you they already put your food in the oven. This place has gone downhill. I stopped by to pickup a cheese pizza for my kids and was absolutely disgusted when I entered. The location was filthy. The walls covered in splattered dirt. No gloves were worn, no customer service. The floors, counters, I can only imagine the health report. Avoid at all cost. read more

Won't order delivery from this location again. Not only has the delivery food I've ordered been consistently going downhill (cold, missing items, etc.) in comparison to another Pizza Boli's that is farther from my house, but I've been told twice in the last month that I am out of the delivery area after ordering from this location for more than two years. When I pick up carryout from here the food seems to be a little better, but the inconsistency is annoying. read more

We discovered Pizza Boli's through Door Dash. I am so glad we tried it! We have ordered several times from here and the food is always right and very good. Our favorites are obviously the pizza, my daughter loves the hamburger sub and a family favorite is the jalapeño bites! Highly recommend! read more

Fraud!!!! Mislead customer. I got a flyer at my house and it had a "CRAZY DEAL" one large 2 topping pizza for 8.99. I order it for the delivery and the price came up almost double so I asked the guy who took my order how come it's more expensive. He told me the deal is for Monday only. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! This place was so bad that I don't even know where to begin... (Side note: We didn't actually visit this place, we ordered delivery.) Now, I usually order online to most places because of places like this, and also because it's faster and I don't feel rushed to make a snap decision, but unfortunately they did not have the coupon (Game Special, One large 1-Topping Pizza, 10 Wings, Bread sticks, and a 2-Liter of any Pepsi product) online that we had on the paper advertisement so we ended up calling the restaurant to place the order. The person on the phone wasn't rude, but he seemed like he was in a rush to get through the ordering process, by being short and to the point. Almost like he didn't even care that he was getting business. The delivery driver was very nice, and respectful. So, if I could rate the driver, I'd give him 5 stars. Ordered from here because I didn't want chain pizza. Got their meat pizza and a gyro delivered and it arrived hot and fresh. It's a fluffy-ish crust pizza. Tasted good. Better than the major chains in the area. It arrived pretty quick too: 30 min. Worth a shot if you haven't tried them or it's been a long while. I'll be trying them out again. read more

As a disclaimer, we do not order delivery, and we almost always order carryout. That being said, I will agree with other posters that the inside of the place is old, and desperately needs some TLC. The food is a bit on the pricey side, but remember- you get what you pay for. We order from Pizza Bolis about twice a month. Each time we call in our order, special requests are honored; and any mistakes we notice upon picking up the order are quickly corrected. The crust and the sauce are better than most of the other pizza places in the area by far. The toppings are fresh, and of good quality. When we arrive for pickup, our order is ready. Very seldom do we have to wait for our order after we arrive for pickup. Family favorites include the stromboli (it's huge, and one of the best values on the menu), the garlic bread, and the thin crust pizza. read more

The food we got was excellent: lasagna and chicken cheesesteak. But there are some issues with the overall experience: 1) Website listed on the ad in the hotel isn't even right. pizzabolis.com/dumfries doesn't exist. 2) Ordering process isn't great (mobile phone). Just because I visit an item doesn't mean I want it added to my cart immediately. An Add To Cart button is what exists on every other e-commerce site; imagine how intuitive that is. 3) After ordering, you're shown a "live status" of the order. This is not updated; it still shows that it is being prepared. 4) Did not receive a confirmation email. 5) Delivery took more than 40 minutes. 6) Order did not include extra salt packets that were requested. 7) Order did not include spoons for ice cream. Lots of one-star reviews on here but we didn't experience anything that bad. Just some slow delivery and some little issues. I'd go here again because of the food, but I hope they'd tidy up some issues. read more

Veggie pizza and mozzarella sticks were good. A little pricier than other places. Paid about $23 for a small veggie pizza, order of mozzarella sticks and two sodas. The seats and tables are old. Noticeable by the tears in the seats. Bathrooms are located in the center and can be smelled as you walk by. read more

My wife and I really dig this place. The buffalo chicken pizza is good. The wings have a great flavor and a nice size but they could cook them a little longer to make them crispier. The chicken Alfredo was also very good. The prices are decent and delivery was quick. We will order from them again. read more

I called in a pick up order of Philly Cheesteaks and fries. The young lady taking the order on the phone sounded very indifferent but got the order right, and that is the most important thing, isn't it? When I went in to pick up the order, the representative at the counter was very pleasant, she wore a mask (as expected) but her eyes and voice had a smile, not like the person on the phone. If these people were one in the same, than they may just need to work on quality of phone service and etiquette. But the in person interaction made up for that. What was also a very pleasant surprise was how nicely packaged our meals were very thoughtfully packed and that is one of the things you dont always consider or rate when you're evaluating an experience like this but they did great here, A+. The amount of food was substantial we got 8 inch subs and apparently one order of fries feeds two just fine, so we had a surplus. The fries were good but not amazing. The sub was also good but not incredible. However, based on the price and the value you receive for our price, my one true complaint is there just wasn't enough cheese. Aside from that they did great and next time I have a sub craving I may go back. read more

Worsest experience ever... ordered First time from them, Delivery time given was 50 minutes Max which is a lot but fine.... I didn't get my order an hour and thirty minutes later since placing it. Driver very nice and courteous, arrived in 40 mins when app. Said it would be 70 mins. Everything we ordered was still hot and drinks ice cold.
