Medium Cheese Pizza

I usually go to this pizza bolis because it is my neighborhood pizza bolis however every other time I order they get it wrong. The pizza is always fresh and good. It's when I order other items that they get it wrong. The people who answer the phone do not listen and are very rude. They will put you on hold then hang up the phone most time. IF you decide to order here I recommend you go in and order and check your food before you leave their store.

Tuscan shrimp penne Garlic Bread

Food was hot. Just nasty. Just thrown together. Pulled thick layer of unwanted cheese and was not surprised. I do not recommend this place at all. The yeast was well buttered with no garlic!

Plastic in the pizza

Usually, most Pizza Boli's I've ordered from have held a certain good standard, and the customer service was also good. However, this was my first time ordering from this location. Here are the pros and cons: PROS: The pizza was good and hot when I picked it up. Location was easy to find. CONS: I was on hold for a long time, and the connection was very scratchy. It was hard to hear when I called on 2 separate occasions. Lastly, and most importantly, there was a piece of hard plastic, yes, I said PLASTIC, in my pizza. It was BAKED INTO IT. When I tried to call and let them know, the Manager, Ahmad, was somehow not there, stepped out, and finally wouldn't be there until tomorrow. Ok. Cool. I tried calling and being decent about it, but I guess they didn't care to hear about how their food actually has plastic in it and a number of people could've eaten it. So, obviously, this will be my first and last time ordering from this particular location.

My wife and I recently ordered the garlic bread and the alfredo for delivery and received our order…read morein a timely manner. Both dishes did well in transit and were still warm when we got them. The garlic bread was well-baked and flavorful, with delicious cream and olive oil dipping sauces. The alfredo was homemade, fresh, rich, creamy, and had good umami and the right amount of salt. I would recommend Caruso's Grocery!

I found this restaurant at the last minute and boy am I glad we did!…read more We arrived at around 7:45 and the place was packed. The hostess told us we likely wouldn't sit until 9:45 so I inquired about the bar and the manager quickly stepped in to put us on a waitlist. Since the restaurant is connected to a food hall of sorts, she recommended we grab a drink there while we wait. Shortly after we got our drink, we received notification of an opening and were seated by 8:15. We had the burrata appetizer, Ragú x 2, and the seafood fra diavolo. The burrata was one of the best I've had since they serve it with pesto, pine nuts, and garlic bread. It was truly divine! The Ragú was not far behind. Incredible flavor and a generous portion. The seafood dish had a nice kick and had plenty of seafood, which is not common as of late. All dishes were also priced reasonably for the quality you received. As we sat at the bar, we had pleasant conversation with the bartender and finished our meal with a small cannoli that really sealed the deal. If you're looking for excellent Italian food in DC without breaking the bank, look no further than Caruso's grocery! However, I'd recommend reserving ahead of time because it's certainly not a secret. LOL

Our waiter did that. I asked for recommendations and he explained everything on the menu to us. Then I asked a specific question about a dish and he knew the answer immediately. He also gave us specials. I got the Orecchiette e Salsiccia -- Rapini shells with sausage. I loved it. Someone else my table got the special -- pasta with steak. The steak was cooked PERFECTLY and was wonderful. Overall, I loved Pacci's. It has a laid back family vibe yet the food is fantastic. One more thing: the neighborhood Pacci's is in is beautiful. Pacci's itself is in a very rustic nice building, right across from many beautifully painted rowhomes and brownstones.

So much lemon that I couldn't eat a bite. No one ever asked how our food was or why I hadn't touched my dish so I kept quiet and let them trash it.....just awful. The pizza was limp and wet....and kinda a disappointment as well. The space is cute enough largely because it's in a very old row house. I just don't understand why people seem to like the mediocre at best food. I've been here twice....first and last.

Olive Garden -- 8/10…read more I have to give credit where credit is due. I had not eaten at Olive Garden in probably 15 years, and honestly, I went in not really knowing what to expect. I don't typically dine at franchise restaurants, so the experience I had yesterday genuinely surprised me. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, the service was phenomenal. And I mean service after service after service. Our server was attentive and accommodating, other staff members checked to see if we needed anything, the dining room manager stopped by, management checked on the table, and even members of the kitchen management team came through. At one point I was thinking, Okay Olive Garden...what is going on here? The level of attention was impressive without feeling forced or overbearing. And as someone who dines out pretty regularly--and can definitely find something to complain about--I really didn't have anything to complain about. The food surprised me too. I started with the calamari, which was good, followed by the fried shrimp with peppers and onions. I'm not a huge fried-food person, but that shrimp was delicious. Then came the Tour of Italy. This was probably the biggest surprise of the meal. The lasagna was delicious. I added spinach to the pasta Alfredo, which gave it a little more flavor and broke up the richness of the sauce. Really good. The chicken parm had a little more sauce than I personally prefer, but that's really just my preference. Overall, the entire plate was solid. Everything came out hot and fresh, which matters. And then dessert came out and completely blew my mind. The cocktails were also very, very good. Whoever was behind that bar knew what they were doing. Overall: 8/10. After staying away for 15 years, I can confidently say I would go back to Olive Garden again. But what impressed me most wasn't necessarily the food--it was the people. You can tell when an organization has put time into training its staff and when management is actually present in the operation. That showed throughout the entire meal. So credit to Olive Garden and especially the team working yesterday. You took someone who had basically written franchise dining off and completely changed my expectations. 15 years later...and y'all got me back.

I haven't had a Olive garden experience in high school. And nothing much has changed LOL…read more I ended up getting the spaghetti with meatballs that came with the never ending soup salad breadsticks None of the soups were particularly amazing. The spaghetti was actually reasonably good and the meatballs were very large in Parking is free and in a private lot I think the major issue I have with this place is we have a new waitress who kept checking in repetitively to the point that it was interruptive and intrusive. She seemed to be completely out of where that it was ruining our dining experience The manager also tried to come and patch it up but his social skills were also not really appropriate given the intrusiveness. It seemed like they were trying to rush us out of there. Anyway I'm glad I tried it but I probably won't come back
