Honestly, I wasn't expecting all that much when we realized it was 9 PM, we hadn't eaten anything, didn't have the energy to cook, and needed to order pizza. We looked at a few places but lots of places have (understandably) reduced their hours lately and so we decided we'd give Pizza Boli's a try. And it was great! One small snafu in that my husband ordered a stromboli and it came as a regular pizza, but aside from that everything was really delicious. We got a small Hawaiian pizza, the Meatster stromboli-turned-pie, the bacon cheese fries (just wish the portion were bigger, but still very good), and 9 wings in their Asian Zing sauce. Really good! Hello, I ordered food tonight on December 5th 2022 the food arrived at 5:00 p.m the food was great food was not the problem the problem was the terrible customer service from the person at the restaurant and from the driver. The driver was being very snappy and disrespectful just because I didn't tip him high enough he said that next time you order food this far give people a bigger tip. Even more crazy I know I already did pay extra money for extra gyra bread and he was trying to charge me an additional $3 I told him I don't have cash I paid everything on credit card sounds like to me he was just trying to lie so he can get three extra dollars and say that it was the tip to his boss.. After this inccident I call the restaurant I explained everything what happened I asked may I talk to the manager and the person who assume that they are the manager he didn't act like a manager because he was even worse than a driver. I was explaining to him that your driver should not be disrespectful towards customers that you should be lucky enough that you guys are getting business in the first place because as we know the pandemic really messed up a lot of businesses. He told me not to be rude I told him I'm not being rude I'm simply telling you doesn't matter if the driver is New or Old your driver should not treat people like this certainly he should not be bitching and complaining that the tip isn't high enough. I was going to tell the guy on the phone maybe next time put it on your website that you want people to tip the driver $5 or $10 because I never heard of a business where they say that the tip has to be higher than 20% when on their website it says the tip has to be 12%... Ordered from Pizza Boli during quarantine for pickup. It was very contactless, and very safe, which I appreciated. The pizza is good - and a great deal for the area. The pickup special we don't count as one of our "going out" nights for the month since it is so affordable. This is one of the only pizza places nearby that offers delivery very late into the night, meaning that although it's by no means my favorite pizza place to order from, it is my default pizza place to order from after a night of drinking. I always stick with their white pizza, which is mediocre, but it's pizza. That's all a drunk person every really wants. I think I've had it sober like once or twice, so I can confirm that the actual quality does not surpass a 3. I've also ordered their desserts, from this location as well as locations in the Reston/Herndon area, and 95% of the time, they've arrived to me completely frozen. Objectively speaking, that's just gross and upsetting. Tastes fine once it's thawed out, but... how f*cking old is it that you had to freeze it. In summation, I recommend to drunk people only. I got a fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. It was disgusting. For $17, you get fettuccine with a lot of butter on it, and it looks like they poured a little skim milk inside it, and eight of the tiniest shrimp I've ever seen. This time my pizza took over an hour (ordered around 6pm on a Friday), arrived cold(I can overlook the coldness due to the fact that it is delivery but still use a bag to keep it warm or something), the crust seemed stale (think old school dominos cardboard crust), And this is the 2nd time they forgot my garlic butter dipping sauce that you have to order and pay for. The delivery driver also wanted me to meet him outside my apartment complex completely ignoring the "no contact" delivery option that I selected and that they advertise on their website. This place checks all of the boxes you could possibly ask for in a pizza place: reasonably affordable, easily ordered online, great pizzas, great sides, and quick delivery. The pizza here is pretty traditional, but done so well that it feels novel. The garlic dipping sauce left something to be deisred, though. Let's be honest. Most likely the main delivery orders after midnight are because you've had a few drinks. I ordered the whole Philly cheesesteak, fries, and a Pepsi. Delivery was good and my order was correct. However, the Philly cheesesteak could have been seasoned better (or seasoned in general) and they could have added more cheese. It was only a tiny bit of cheese. They get an A for following directions (extra onions) and they didn't forget any of my order, but they get a C in actual taste. But upon a delivery order, several months ago, I was somewhat a disappointed--less meat than usual. The only reason I was pushed into writing this review is the numerous number of doorbell rings on their final trip to my house to bring change for the pizza I copped the they had forgot to tell the driver to bring in the first place.
