Our toddler liked the fresh tomato feta combo- who knew! Thin crust is fine- it's not very tasty but it's a vehicle for getting cheese and toppings to your mouth. OK ... I violated my own rule from a previous review. I tried Pizza Boli's again. But, that's the last time. I'll never order again. Ever. I ordered one Sicilian Pan Pizza (no meat, add green olive). OK, here's where I made a mistake, and I admit it. I accidently ordered it with green PEPPER instead. My bad (and it was), but that wasn't the problem. First off, the pie took over an hour to arrive. When the driver knocked on my door, he was carrying TWO pizzas. On the top of the boxes there was a half piece of pepperoni. Yuck. Nasty (who knows where it came from, pepperoni). I questioned the pepperoni, and the fact that he had two pies. He told me that I ordered 2 pizzas, but that neither one had meat, so he didn't know where the pepperoni came from. When he told me that one pie had green peppers, I assumed they screwed up everything and insisted that he take it all away and refund my credit card (the whole thing, including tip was pre-paid). He told me to take the pies for free (he would refund) and he apologized. But then he started making excuses ... we have new staff (not my fault), we're really busy (not my fault). I took the pies inside and opened them. They were burned black and all bread. It was like Wonderbread with sauce. Nasty. Both pies went down the garbage disposal. Pizza was good, the delivery guy seemed like he didn't like that I ordered late since he commented on it but I called before their closing hours so that was rude.. I should have told him not to ring the door bell because my roommates were sleeping because he did ring it.. also, found a tiny bug with wings in my salad.. so I didn't end up eating the salad.. I noticed I didn't see any other black specs like that in the rest of the salad so I picked it out and saw what it was.. salad was a good size and looked like it could have been good. They just give you a dressing packet and I was thinking it probably wouldn't have been enough for that whole salad. read more

The food here is great. The cooks here don't skimp on the meat or toppings for the subs. My personal favorite is the chicken cheesesteak and just the regular cheesesteak. The reason I give this eating establishment 2 stars is because of their terrible customer service at night. I'm not familiar with their day workers but at night their employees are terrible. You call 20min ahead of time and they say your food will be ready in 10-15min. And every single time it's the same. I get there and I have to wait another 5 to 10 minutes. The guys there all look confused and don't say sorry for their terrible service. ALSO, I've had several situations now where I order to pick up and when I get there the guys there don't know anything and make me wait 20 minutes for something so stupid. In conclusion I really dislike the night time workers and their carelessness about customer service. I picked up my order at 1:15 am, the staff were very kind and lively; super refreshing after the horrible day I had. After last night's order which arrived right on the time I selected, 7:45, and seeing the delivery guy's friendly face I had to write a review. I rarely order pizza, and when I do there is no rhyme or reason, could be midnight could be 6pm, whenever. For the last four years I have had the same delivery guy. I can't think of a single time (other than in my apt in Ballston) I've had a different pizza guy. I either order extra cheese or the veggie pie, it isn't mind-blowing amazing pizza but it is always hot, fresh tasting, and the cheese is always gooey. I'm really in it for the cheese and the liquid garlic sauce (don't judge me, I know it is death in a little tub). Never had an issue with the online ordering service either. The delivery guy is awesome, I should know his name.. even when I moved apartments in the same building he recognized me. I'm starting to wonder if he is even a delivery guy or someone in-store because how it can always always be him?? He is friendly with my dog and always pokes fun at the fact I'm usually looking rough watching something stupid on tv.. okay, don't think it is weird that he comes in a few feet, it is like we're old friends. I've ordered delivery from Pizza Boli's twice and both experiences delivered less than average food. The first time I ordered stuff shells, which were rather bland and uninteresting. To top this experience off, I received a phone call from the establishment after I received my order to inform me that my address was wrong. I refuted the claim and inquired as to why the driver had not informed me of this upon arriving. The person on the phone provided a rude response and I hung up with a rather bad taste in my mouth as I began to eat my meal. As I suspected when I checked my address on my profile later, the address was clearly the right one. The second time I ordered the special stromboli and the Oreo cheesecake. The stromboli was a huge portion, which I did not expect for the inexpensive price. However, the dessert advertised as Oreo cheesecake is actually a prepackaged Oreo creme cake (not that I expected their desserts to be made in house). However, I did expect cheesecake of some sort, which left me completely disappointed. The best part of the experience was the friendly delivery driver. Other than that, I think two chances is one too many for this establishment. Doubt I will order delivery from here again unless I have no other option. read more

I usually get pizza but I've tried their subs too and it didn't disappoint. Ordered a pizza for delivery early in the afternoon. After waiting over an hour, I called the restaurant and they said the driver was on the way and should be there any minute. I waited another 20 minutes and still no pizza, so I called again. Turns out that they had a problem with the ordering system and they had just started making it (a fact that they apparently didn't think was relevant the first time I called). I have just received my order and upon opening up my fries...i smelled a strong burnt smell. I try one of the fries and they are not edible. I immediately call the restaurant, merely to make them aware (nothing else) and the guy who answered was so rude! This Pizza bolis is a very good delivery place. I have found them consistently to have great pizza and good sides. The super greek white is great. The chicken fingers I feel are very good (frozen fried but of good quality) and thier pasta is a really good deal and very tasty. The pizza was tasty with the greek being better than the BBQ. The BBQ was too sweet with too much BBQ sauce and we would not order again. Ventured over the store on a Sunday afternoon - it is located in a strip mall across from a skate park on Wilson. Location seemed dead, but maybe that's just Sunday there. Ordered pizza steak and pepperoni pizza subs which were good; used a coupon 2-8" subs with chips and 2 sodas (cans) for $13 which seemed reasonable. Felt stupid after we picked up the food and saw on the store window that the same "2 for" deal was for $11 before tax. Still was good enough to justify the price, but I was still hungry afterward. There is a 2-12" sub deal with chips and subs for $17 advertised in the coupon too which might be necessary go around, though if I wanted a $8 sub, I'd probably go to Lost Dog. The pizza ended up being undercooked and the fries were soggy like they were sitting around from a previous order, probably from someone refusing to pay because of misleading coupon. The medium is perfect to share between two people. The Greek salad is very good (they give you a lot of feta and de-pit the olives for you), but they don't have Greek dressing...weird right?
