Both that night and with my sober palate the following morning lol the wings were very big and juicy and the white pizza had that perfect delicate touch of ricotta and basil loaded with flavor while the supreme filled the meat craving. We just ordered two pizzas and one order of garlic bread from Fillmore Pizza via GrubHub. The order arrived in an expected time. The garlic bread arrived completely burnt (see photos). The husband, the kid, and I each tried to eat one and found them all to not only be solidly burnt but also surprisingly spicy. We are not afraid of spice in this house, but it was an unexpected flavor. One pie was plain. The other pie had roasted eggplant. Oddly, these were not spiced with typical Italian seasonings but with what we are guessing are Indian flavors. Was that curry or turmeric in the sauce? Maybe it's unfair to rate a pizza place based solely on its salads, but maybe it's also unfair for a customer to pay $12 (+ delivery fee + tip) for the worst Greek salad they've ever had in their life. What are the three staples of a Greek salad typically? Grape leaves, feta, olives. This salad succeeded on 0/3. It came with two tiny, pitiful little grape leaves, barely had a sprinkling of feta, and instead of whole pitted olives, merely had a small amount of thin olive slices scattered throughout. To add insult to injury, I paid extra to add chicken, and what they gave me was essentially the chicken equivalent of bacon bits. I will reemphasize that it was the worst. I ordered a caprese salad to save for lunch tomorrow too, and the only reason I'm giving two stars is because this salad actually looks like it contains appropriate amounts of the basic ingredients it's meant to have (although they did only supply me with one container of the olive oil dressing for it versus the four containers of dressing I got for the Greek salad. Another Football Sunday rolled around so naturally my body's internal clock was calling for wings and pizza. The boy and I have been doing the Tour de Pizza on Arlington delivery joints recently so we gave a call to Fillmore Pizza. My initial reaction with them was not good -- the lady seemed confused as hell when she answered the phone but this joint is brand new so hopefully their phone answering skills will come with time. I ordered their large pizza + 10 wing special for about $20 ducks. It was delivered hot and on time, just in time for us to eat our feelings on how bad the Redskins suck. There was no breading on the wings and they tasted more grilled than fried and were tossed in buffalo sauce. They were super meaty and had a good ratio of wings and drumsticks. The pizza came with those little plastic tables on top which is something I had not seen in years. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had but it wasn't the worst at all. Called them an hour and ten minutes later, they told me that my order was 5 min away. 20 minutes later I call again, only to be told my order was canceled because I'm "too far". I was always curious about this place from seeing it around, and I had never tried it yet, so today (Sunday the 5th March) I ordered from here, via AmazonRestaurants service; and found the pizza (I had the Arlington Pizza which is steak, little bit feta, steak, mozarella, tomatoes) and added gyromeat and red onion. The pizza was a thin crust style, but not a 'thin n crispy' style, it had a good amount of toppings, but not overkill... I found the toppings to cheese/sauce ratios were balanced and I really liked the Pizza. I will definitely be trying more dishes/items from this place, very soon! On their Facebook page, I noticed they had a 20 percent discount for online orders with a promo code. They also had a take out special on a large pizza with 2 toppings. So, I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and sausage. I also ordered a 10-piece of their buffalo wings. The parking in this strip is tight (always has been). I walked in and picked up the order and went home. Pizza: The toppings were relatively good. However, the crust is not very good. It is like it is on bread, instead of a pizza crust.
