Extreme pizza was one of the only restaurants open during the sleet in 2026 so I dropped by since I was from out of town and didn't have any food saved up. The workers were super nice and patient even though they had to come into work with the nasty weather. I order the chicken parm with the poppers. The chicken parm sub was delicious however the size was a lot smaller than what I expect from a normal sub. The poppers on the other hand I felt like the filling was lacking if you ate it by itself. It absolutely needed the chocolate dipping sauce that they provided to give the extra flavor profile for the dessert. Part of me wished there was just more Nutella flavoring or somehow a flavor in the middle that would be more flavor so there would be no need to dip. However, I cant deduct any points since I'm not a fan of chocolate and I believe anyone who is a fan of chocolate would be satisfied with it. The inside of the restaurant is kind of cramped but I came in when there wasn't too many people so it was spacious when it's empty. However it was cute and had seating facing the window so you can people watch outside. All in all I did give it a higher rating mainly because they were willing to stay open during the icy snow weather and provide food to all the travelers who were stranded. I was taking what felt like forever to order because it was my first time and I'm not from the area, let explained and recommended. Then told me to take my time and not worry about taking a long time. I appreciated that although I let others go ahead of my because of my indecisiveness! We walked because our hotel was close. This location is right near work which makes it a great location when I have a taste for pizza. I called my order in before I walked over to the location. I ordered a personal size pepperoni and cheese pizza with a side salad. When I arrived to the restaurant I also picked me up a strawberry soda. Definitely a step above your well-known, national pizza chains. They offer vegan pizza options, salads, calzones, and desserts. The customer service is good. I recommend researching their specials prior to ordering for the best deals; especially pizza and wing combos. As with most pizza shops, the wait time can be long on peak days like Friday and Saturday. There is street parking outside the restaurant, however, with many retails stores on the same street I can't say the street parking situation is ideal. My cousin picked this place because she loves pizza. We walked in and grabbed the menus and sat down at a table. About 20 minutes and a sitting down I decided to get up and go to the register where the lady advised us we needed to place our order at the register and then go have a seat. We placed our orders, I ordered the Mr. pestato head pizza, the spinach salad as a fried salad and a cider. The salad came out first and it was a good size helping. I first looked at it and saw something that looked like chicken, it was actually artichoke, and it was amazing. When the server brought out the salads, they did offered to bring more dressing and they brought in a additional dressing that is pre-poured into a plastic container. Our pizzas came out. My pizza had pesto and potato on it, which was a very yummy, it also had sun-dried tomatoes, which is a favorite of mine. I ate two slices and could not eat anymore so I took the rest to go. I did have to go back up to ask for to go boxes. Tipping is optional and done when you order your food. This was really good pizza, and compared to mainstream places I would select this option over any mainstream Pizza place. read more

Happing to be visiting the area and was staying at a nearby hotel. Being board of the hotel food looked for something close by and appealing. Found us Extreme Pizza. Cute little store front with maybe 6 tables inside. Everything appeared clean. Greeted by a fella who told us to order at the counter but the food would be brought to our table if we were eating in. Which is what we did. We chose a large all meat pizza. Nice size for two people. But left us very full. As for the flavor and how it was cooked - I'd say great. Pizza came out fairly quick and was nicely cooked. Not burnt at all. Now for the flavor. The Italian Sausage had a great taste. But was not over powering over the other meats. But was the dominate taste. Would definitely choose this again. Another little thing here. Crazy I know but on the table was cheese, red pepper and oregano. Nowadays at most places you have to ask and wait. By the time you get it, you've eaten at least one slice. I was glad to see this. Staff were friendly as well. Nice experience. We'd eat here again. If you're a flat crust pizza person, this place is for you! Though it is flat crust, there was a hint of chewiness to the crust too. If I were to categorize this pizza, it would closely fall under flatbread style pizza. COST EFFECTIVE My partner and I opted for one pepperoni slice and one cheese slice which totaled to around $9 and some change. I could have easily went across the street and got a whole pizza for $10 but Extreme Pizza is definitely worth every penny....."Quality over quantity" If dining in here, timing is usually everything, bar seating is limited also. My husband and are are vegan. Arlington is Grrowing fast, but it is still very limited when it comes to vegan options. We found this little place through Happy Cow, so we thought we would give it a try. I ordered a build your own pizza. they have great options for us vegans. I chose the classic dough, tomato base, vegan cheese, spinach, brocolli, red onion, green pepper, and oregaano. Unfortunately, they do not have any vegan "protein" (tofu, tempeh, beyond, etc), which would make this place more awesome. They have a great beer selection. Craft beer on tap, as well as bottled beer. The service was fast, the place looked clean. I just wish they had blinds on the windows because you cannot avoid being blinded by the sun at a certain time of day no matter where you sit. All in all, we loved it and will be back. read more

Staying at a nearby hotel for the night and walked here based on the Yelp reviews. It's a small space and it gets busy but they do dine in and take out (and delivery) so not everyone that came in stayed. I wanted to do a 1/2 Alfredo sauce 1/2 tomato sauce pizza with mushrooms but was informed that I couldn't do that because of the size pizza I ordered. I was given the option to layer the sauces so I gave it a try. Didn't end up being my favorite combo in the world but it was still good. The pizza came out first and was steaming hot to sight but ironically slightly luke-warm to taste if that makes sense. There was a random sausage piece that got mixed in and I'm not a meat eater but luckily I caught it before taking a bite. Minus that sausage crumble, I still ate and enjoyed the whole thing. The calzone came out a few minutes later. They're huge but it took my bf less than 5 min to completely clear his plate. He got a side of ranch to dip and their ranch is legit. They have fountain drinks, bottled drinks, beer and possibly cocktails (but double check that). You can also order pizza slices. If you dine in, they clear the tables after you eat. The place could use a revamp to create a better ambiance. They have plenty of good options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike, and you can always split the pizza 50/50 or make your own. I'd like to commend them for their creative and strange pizza names. We got half Drag It Thru The Garden and half Poultrygeist. Everything about the pizza was positive. Fresh ingredients, greatly baked crust, and a decent size.
