Since my older brother works at Amazon, we were going to find a place to meet him on his lunch break to grab a quick bite. He suggested this spot since we all love pizza. It wasn't bad at all. They have a wide variety of pizzas to choose from with making a personal sized pizza up to a shareable large size. I made my own pizza with Alfredo sauce and mushrooms with olives. I loved how thin the crust was. They also have a variety of beers too. It was a plus that the music they were playing was rock from back in high school; Chevelle, Three Fays Grace, etc.

Representing the letter E for 2018 is Extreme Pizza. I visited here one time in February 2018. I was doing Uber driving that Sunday as I used to do sometimes in the 2010's. I ended up in Pentagon City and was hungry, or at least I was in DC and was easy to cross the 14th St, where parking is easier. I had a late lunch that day and got pizza slices. It was a solid choice; I remember I enjoyed.

We went back last nite, Sunday Aug 24th and the pizza, beer (I had the other half beer they have on tap now which is bomb as hell) and vibe was great! One of the employees, maybe the manager was very helpful in helping me choose an Indian style pizza for my Indian friends who joined me. The only negative thing was one of the employees really needs to work on their soft skills, u gotta be friendly and welcoming in the hospitality industry. But aside from that the kids and adults all had a great time! Thanks:))

This location is right near work which makes it a great location when I have a taste for pizza. I called my order in before I walked over to the location. I ordered a personal size pepperoni and cheese pizza with a side salad. When I arrived to the restaurant I also picked me up a strawberry soda. The establishment is very clean and the staff is very nice. I was greeted upon entering. My food was ready when I arrived. Everything was delicious! This is definitely my go to pizza spot.

Extreme Pizza is a good pizza pie option in Pentagon City, Virginia. Inside the shop presents a nostalgic, old school pizza parlor feel. Their pizza quality is good and so are their wings. Definitely a step above your well-known, national pizza chains. They offer vegan pizza options, salads, calzones, and desserts. The customer service is good. I recommend researching their specials prior to ordering for the best deals; especially pizza and wing combos. As with most pizza shops, the wait time can be long on peak days like Friday and Saturday. There is street parking outside the restaurant, however, with many retails stores on the same street I can't say the street parking situation is ideal. I will continue to visit when on a pizza run in the area.

My cousin picked this place because she loves pizza. We walked in and grabbed the menus and sat down at a table. About 20 minutes and a sitting down I decided to get up and go to the register where the lady advised us we needed to place our order at the register and then go have a seat. We placed our orders, I ordered the Mr. pestato head pizza, the spinach salad as a fried salad and a cider. The salad came out first and it was a good size helping. I first looked at it and saw something that looked like chicken, it was actually artichoke, and it was amazing. When the server brought out the salads, they did offered to bring more dressing and they brought in a additional dressing that is pre-poured into a plastic container. Our pizzas came out. My pizza had pesto and potato on it, which was a very yummy, it also had sun-dried tomatoes, which is a favorite of mine. I ate two slices and could not eat anymore so I took the rest to go. I did have to go back up to ask for to go boxes. Tipping is optional and done when you order your food. This was really good pizza, and compared to mainstream places I would select this option over any mainstream Pizza place.

I'm a lover of pizza so I'll never turn down an opportunity to try new ones! After looking over the menu I decided to try the spice route. I was surprisingly better than I expected. I will say, curry on pizza was very different for me so after the second or third slice it was a bit much. But if you like curry then you will love this pizza!

Happing to be visiting the area and was staying at a nearby hotel. Being board of the hotel food looked for something close by and appealing. Found us Extreme Pizza. Cute little store front with maybe 6 tables inside. Everything appeared clean. Greeted by a fella who told us to order at the counter but the food would be brought to our table if we were eating in. Which is what we did. We chose a large all meat pizza. Nice size for two people. But left us very full. As for the flavor and how it was cooked - I'd say great. Pizza came out fairly quick and was nicely cooked. Not burnt at all. Now for the flavor. The Italian Sausage had a great taste. But was not over powering over the other meats. But was the dominate taste. Would definitely choose this again. Another little thing here. Crazy I know but on the table was cheese, red pepper and oregano. Nowadays at most places you have to ask and wait. By the time you get it, you've eaten at least one slice. I was glad to see this. Staff were friendly as well. Nice experience. We'd eat here again. My recommendation - go and try it.

Props to this pizza business being open during the winter storm. There were not many options, but we were able to walk here and order a pie. It's not a huge space, so I assume a lot of people order to go. When you arrive, order at the counter. They have about 6 tables behind the drink machine. The pizza does take some time to cook, but sure it hit the spot on a snowy cold day.

This pizza was great! I wish I had a photo. It was small inside and intimate. Our service was quick and beer was served up front.

With an impressively high Yelp rating, I was disappointed to hear the new owners say the glowing reviews are from the previous owner (though I respect the honesty). Despite that, we really enjoyed our visit. The new owners live up to the legacy. First of all, the service is excellent. An older man makes the food and who I assume is his daughter takes the orders. Both are kind. At the end, she gave my daughter a granola bar for free. The menu is a mix of Korean food and the small market in the back sells Korean products and more. It's very fun to browse and pick up some snacks and treats. My daughter loved the juicy grape fruit snacks. To eat, we ordered the Japanese curry and milk tea. Both were full of flavor and made with love. "This is my new favorite meal of all time," said my daughter. She devoured the bowl herself! There's a small parking lot in front of the cafe. It's within walking distance from the Crystal City Metro.

Who knew that there would be a cafe in Pentagon City with this option? The interior is a bit cramped with many cardboard boxes piling up. We were able to order the food at the counter and waited about 5-10 minutes before the food was ready. BRAISED PORK OVER RICE (卤肉饭) - 15.49 Lots of rice, more rice than I could finish with the amount of braised pork belly they give. The pork was very fatty, which made it tasty and juicy, but it wasn't very saucy. There were two halves of a bokchoy and half of an incredibly boiled egg, which was meh. Still, I finished all the toppings and maybe a little less than half of the rice. I was full, but $15.49 for the food was not worth it. Overall, 3.5/5 but bump it to a 4/5 since there's a scarcity of food like this in the area. They sell other comfort Asian dishes too, like coconut chicken cutlet rice and Japanese eel rice.

But I would think they would have some heads up on conferences in the area just due to their location. Anyways, I bee-lined it here during lunch break to get a sandwich, with only one person in front of me at the counter. I had the ribeye cheese with added onions, peppers, and mushrooms (a $2.00 upcharge), and was told to have a seat and they would bring me the food since I was going to eat in the building lobby where this location is. And right after I ordered groups from the conference started coming in and soon enough the line was 15-20 people. At the end of that line were two co-workers that found this place by getting lost. They (co-workers) took over 20 minutes before they were even able to make it to the counter to order their food, chili and another ribeye cheesesteak sandwich with fries. After they placed their order, I looked inside and realized they were overwhelmed and were probably not going to bring out my sandwich so I went to the pick up area to ask the status of my sandwich. The panic behind the counter was telling me they lost my order. And they had me wait at the counter for my sandwich an additional 4-5 minutes. When I got back to the table I realized that all I got was the ribeye cheese sandwich with shredded iceberg lettuce, no peppers, no onions, no mushrooms. I wanted to go back, but with the panic behind the counter I said I am just glad I got something to eat. The sandwich was good, not bad, with a nice toast on the hoagie bread. About 10 minutes after I got my food, my co-workers got their food and the person that ordered the chili was very disappointed, they said they have had better chili and Wendy's. My other co-worker agreed that the ribeye cheese sandwich was not bad, but the fries were flavorless, like they were not salted. Anyways, maybe management could take initiative in finding out what conferences are occurring in the immediate area and be prepared that first day, because you only have one chance to make a first impression. I am not likely to return to this establishment due to the incorrect order and the slow service. I wish them much success.

It has that perfect "neighborhood staple" feel where the focus is clearly on the quality of the ingredients rather than unnecessary frills. I had the Metro Italian (12") which is a beast of a sandwich!! The meat-to-bread ratio is spot on, and you can tell they aren't skimping on the quality of the cold cuts. The bread has that essential crusty exterior while staying soft enough to soak up the oil and vinegar without falling apart. It's a classic Italian sub done exactly the way it should be. Just good luck opening your mouth wide enough to take that first bite! You can't leave an Italian deli without a cannoli, and this one didn't disappoint. The shell was crisp (not soggy!), and the filling was rich and creamy without being overly sweet. It was the perfect finish to a heavy lunch. The shop has a great, authentic energy. It's efficient, which is a must for the Crystal City lunch rush, but they still make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time in. It's easily one of the best spots in the area for a high-quality, reliable meal.
