I would give five star rating just for the happy hour deal price, and the food and drink you get with it! For under $30 you get a mini pizza too sides and a drink. Wow. That's a DEAL! The food was delicious! The staff was very friendly and was helpful when the wine we wanted was not available to make a suggestion. It is a smaller restaurant. I can see the space getting crowded on a weekend evening. No problem getting seating on a Monday night in time for happy hour. Great spot!

Solid food. To start, there's plenty of free parking in several nearby parking garages. Service is good, and the setting is casual and comfortable. The selection is pretty decent with options for pasta, pizza, appetizers, and more. My wife and I split the lasagna and a pizza. A decent portion, the flavors of the lasagna were good, although I think the lasagna noodles were slightly overcooked (I prefer a little more al dente). The pepperoni pizza was very good, which enough for leftovers.

Rating: 3.5 I'm rounding up to 4 stars, but I'd say Stellina Pizzeria is more like a 3.5 in my experience. We did a little girls night type thing here on a Thursday night and it was pretty quiet at first. But then more people started to roll in. The service was pretty good in the beginning. They came to check in on us as we were waiting on one more person in our party to join us who was running a bit behind. We all ordered drinks, and they were pretty good. A bit on the stronger side. The pizzas all came in and we got to try a bit from each other. Some were better than others. I got the basil/pesto pizza with zucchini. Mine was good but a bit too salty. My friend got Corazziera which was the best pizza at the table in my opinion. Overall, I think I'd skip this place. There are better options. It's not bad by any means, but didn't seem like a must-try.

The rich, homemade Cacio & Pepe pasta. Not the worlds best but pretty darned good.

Honestly I can't understand why people crowd into gimmicky restaurant in Shirlington (like Palette 22 which is all show, no substance) when Stellina is serving such reliably high quality food and drinks at value prices a half block away. Stellina has really hit its stride. This place was already a reliable choice in Shirlington, but the salads have improved, the pizzas are more consistent, the specials are better, the bar and the service are terrific, and even the desserts are impressive. Plus they've added InKind for payment making them an even better value. There's nothing pretentious or gimmicky here. Just a simple menu of seasonal brick oven Neapolitan pizzas, pastas and salads with exceedingly friendly service in a bright, casual bar setting. Out favorite restaurant in Shirlington.

The food was ok. I got the Happy Hour special which was a GREAT deal. It comes with a cocktail, house made chips, one mozzarella stick, one arancini, and a margarita pizza. All for $25. The food is about 3 stars. Nothing wowing, but enjoyable! The happy hour deal is valid on Sundays, so that's was a bonus! Service was fine. The service consistently checked in on the table. He cleaned the plates as we were finished eating, which I appreciated. It's a pretty laid back environment. No bells and whistles. Just a pizza spot that you can easily walk into with the family! We also had the tiramisu cake, and that was pretty tasty. I'm doubt they make it on sight, but that wouldn't stop me from ordering it again. The food 3 stars. Service and price 4 stars.

I love Stellina, they make my favorite seafood squid ink pasta in the area. Everything at Stellina is yummy and so reasonably priced. We always get the cuppo misto which includes various fried seafood. If I'm feeling particularly hungry, we'll also get a pizza to share. All of their locations are casual with indoor and outdoor seating. The locations we have been to have indoor and outdoor options and the service is pretty consistent.

For the size of pizza you better off getting a Red Barron or Digiorno. The large is a small. Save the $15. They're usually on sale at Harris Teeter. Also received the wrong order and got a pepperoni pizza instead of a Margherita. How do you mess that up. Would not recommend.

Visited on a weeknight with no resection. Was quickly greeted and seated at a large four person table near the window (first level). The staff were very prompt with service. We ordered two of the mocktails on the menu - the mojito mocktail was a bit tart and the Rossa fizz was really good (sweet and refreshing). The potato chips were a bit flat/stale. We received a healthy portion of the Brussels sprouts and they were crispy with a hint of sweetness (very good!). The pasta dishes were amazing and filling. And we took home a piece of the cheesecake but they have a good selection of dessert options. Definitely coming back for more pasta and to try the pizza! Free deck parking and paid street parking nearby $

My family really enjoyed having our pasta and pizza as well as some mixed drinks. We came after riding the train in Philadelphia so we appreciated late hours. The staff was very efficient making sure that we had all that we needed and quickly so that we could continue enjoying our meal.

I looooved this Pizza! I kept hearing about stellina but for some reasons kept postponing my visit...the I finally ordered from them (so my pizza wasn't super hot when it arrived, but I warmed it on a pan). I am definitely also going to check them out in person, probably in their other location in DC. I had "affumicata" and it was soooo good!! Very rich in terms of flavor, and also a bit heavy, but hey, what can you do, it's pizza after all!!! The dough is just the way I like it, fluffy, yeasty, rich and with that smoky smell I love from wood oven pizza. My aim is to try all of their pizzas (or kind of) because this clearly hit the spot and because the way they combine ingredients is pretty refined and balanced! I can't say anything about ambience and service, but I'll write more about it next time. If quality of food is your main criteria, this is the place!

We were in town for my Italian grandmother's service at Arlington Cemetery, and I wanted to select a nice Italian restaurant for 7 of us on short notice on a Saturday. My family had doubts on my selection, but by the end of dinner they were apologizing -- the food was that good. Our waiter, Navi, was excellent. He patiently answered every single question from my very particular family and made the whole night feel effortless. There was also a guitarist playing chill background music that added the perfect touch to the evening. I had the chicken francese and finished with the spumoni tartufo -- both excellent. My dad ordered the tiramisu and said it was the best he's ever had. This place genuinely impressed an Italian family. Highly recommend -- go in, and don't let the outside fool you.

I came here with my wife for dinner on a Friday night, and we were immediately impressed with the variety of demographics of the patrons. There were younger couples, families, and older folks all together, which I feel is more of a rare sight than I give credit for. The space is pretty small, but it didn't feel crowded. They also had a small patio outside as well. There was a live musician when we came, and apparently this is the case for every Friday night. The servers/owners(?) were incredibly friendly. As far as the food goes, the meal starts off with some solid complimentary bread. My wife and I also tried a pepper appetizer, but it was pretty garlick-y and wasnt' our favorite. We both enjoyed our entrees though! I got a seafood pasta and it had a ton of seafood in it. We also both really enjoyed the cheesecake we had for dessert!

The quality is consistently excellent, and the pizza genuinely reminds me of being in New York. In fact, someone visiting us from New York tried it and absolutely loved it, which says a lot! We typically order online and pick up, and the entire experience has always been seamless. The online ordering process is easy, the pizza is ready on time, and our orders are always accurate. The staff are friendly and attentive when we arrive, and they're also very responsive whenever we call. The portions are incredibly generous! Their large pizza is huge, with slices that remind you of a classic New York pizzeria. One large pizza can easily feed four people if everyone has about two slices. We also tried their Brussels sprouts, and they were really good! They're a great addition to the pizza order. Between the authentic New York-style pizza, consistent quality, generous portions, and dependable customer service, Andy's Pizza has become one of our go-to places. Highly recommended for anyone craving a great New York slice in Northern Virginia!

Greeted warmly by our server, Ditonio, and toured thru the menu which had incredible choices. Started with a Caesar salad for two. Nice size, perfectly dressed. Only comment would be was missing anchovies which we likely had to ask for. Tried the meatball appetizer - two very large juicy meatballs with marinara and melted mozzarella cheese. Fantastic ! Wifey was advised to try the lasagna. Serving was large enough to feed four. Covered with marinara on one half and a light cream sauce on the other. Brought home more than half. I was advised by a friend to try the signature dish Linguine Cardinale. It was divine. Homemade linguine adorned with a cream sauce that resembled a cheesy She-crab soup and loaded with large chunks of fresh lobster. Dish was so good it put me in a coma. We finished with a piece of double chocolate mousse cake and their good night toast. Double highly recommend without any reservations. Ambiance was gorgeous and service was spectacular.
