Citi pizza has been a reliable go-to mom and pop type take out for me and my girlfriend. The owner has always been extremely friendly to me and my friends and would often tell us to grab soda's to go with our meals even if we didn't buy them. Today I ordered a burger sub because I'm doing a recent diet and asked for no bun and if possible some extra lettuce. No problem, sent it over in a different container that could hold it and hooked me up with extra lettuce. It's no issue taking it off the bun, I'm used to that, but it was cool they did sometime small to accommodate. Food wise their wings are great and if you order the hot wings, they're actually HOT! I liked the Citi Pizza so much I ordered it twice for dinner while I was in Arlington for the week. Both times I used the delivery service via the Slice app. The pizza is reasonably priced and both times was done and delivered on the time when estimated which was appreciated as both times my family was quite hungry after a long day touring dc. The crust was excellent. You can select from thin and hand tossed. The cheese also was excellent and had good taste and was well melted. I liked the pepperoni and wished I could have convinced my son to try a different topping choice for the second time we ordered but he really insisted on the pepperoni pizza again. I did add on the garlic bread the second time to try and it also was a good addition. I highly recommend Citi Pizza particularly if you are at a hotel in Arlington and want a delivery. read more

Ordered a large onion and sausage pizza and was not bad for pizza per dollar from a nonchain. The cheese was my favorite part of the pizza, the sauce and crust were ok. I was pretty nervous about ordering from a place that has but one sketchy review on Yelp. However, Citipizza had a menu with specials coupons. So, we gave it a try. Two 8 inch subs, two cokes, two fries for $14.99. We ordered a meatball sub and a steak and cheese. The steak and cheese was NOT what I was expecting--it was liberally slathered with gooey Cheez Wiz, so that's all you could taste. If the meat was rotten, I doubt I'd be able to taste it through the overwhelming taste of cheese whiz. The meatball sub was just gross. The meatballs, which tasted like the frozen kind, were fried in oil and slightly burnt. So, it was greasy AND burnt AND flavorless. What a combo! The fries were the gross seasoned kind, definitely frozen and quickly fried in warm oil, so they were sodden with grease. Would not try the pizza after this experience! read more

Food was good, but they decided to give us coke instead of Pepsi and blue cheese instead of ranch. When we called they seemed miffed that we wanted them to actually bring ranch. It then took over an hour for them to bring the ranch. It's only an 8 minute drive and it was their mistake so seems like they could have been a little faster. We were obviously already done with the food by that point and then they called 4 times after we said no thank you we don't want it. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We ordered late night,(around 2:30am)... we called specifically to ask if they still delivered around this time. We were told "yes no problem" and they proceeded to take our order. One full hour later, still no pizza. We called, and the man on the phone said "yes they're about to leave with it. It'll be there in 10 minutes." We proceeded to wait, 25 minutes later- still no pizza. We call again- NO answer. They closed shop. Never delivered our pizza, never TOLD us they would not deliver our pizza, TOLD us a SECOND time that it would be delivered, yet apparently never even planned on delivering to us. Unbelievable and EXTREMELY poor customer service. Save yourselves the disappointment and don't even bother with this place. It's now 4am and everything is closed, guess we're not eating tonight. Disappointed. I've ordered from Citipizza a couple times, each time being totally different so it's hard to get consistency. I ordered wings tonight but some were soggy and cold and some were dry and missing buffalo sauce. The worst part is that with 20 wings you would expect a couple things of ranch to accompany them, but they came with 2 packets of Ken's ranch dressing. That's salad dressing, not ranch dip for wings. So I ate cold soggy wings with salad dressing. Also arrived 20 minutes later than the estimated max time. Overall not great but I'm sure I'll end up giving them another try in the future, I'm just not sure what I'll end up getting. read more

The spaghetti w/ meat balls were probably the best thing we got. A reasonable amount of sauce, unlike many other local pizza deliver joints that are a bit stingy on the sauce. The delivery time was a lie. I had ordered two extra large pizzas and was given a specific time of delivery. After waiting for what we were told was suppose to be 40 minutes, our pizza did not come. Instead we waited 30 extra minutes. While waiting we called to ask what was taking so long. The delivery man said he was almost there, which was a lie. We later discovered that he had walked the whole way. Even after being late, he still expected a TIP!! Unbelievable.
