Solid 4 star experience for me here recently. Got the lunch special which included a pizza, salad, and drink. Pizza was pretty good. Service was on point. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

First time in Hyannis and decided to try here on a whim. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Our server was friendly and checked on us frequently. We were a larger group and were happily surprised to have gotten all our pizzas and apps not long after we ordered. The pizza is delicious!!! great music with intentional elegant decor yet guests can dress super casual and is family friendly. Drinks were great too (but note that the bar is not a FULL bar so you can only have cocktails off the menu). Would definitely recommend!!

Great wood fired pizza. Garlic knots good more like beignets. Pistachio pesto pizza interesting liked the sauce and pistachio. Hot honey pizza the best item we tried.

The food is delicious and the service is quick and polite. The interior is well decorated with nice lighting, and there is also adequate outdoor seating. Do yourself a favor- go get some pizza.

Quite a nice restaurant with amazing Neopolitan style pizza on Main Street in Hyannis, MA. The oven itself is is a work of art (and came from Bella Napoli) and we are so glad we sat at the pizza bar to watch the action. Fascinating to see how well these young folks created the pizzas. They were very focused with attention to detail and they also had some fun with it. We ordered pizzas, a must have mozzarella di bufala and the other a crushed potato with garlic cream, scallion, mozzarella and bacon! We loved watching the pizza being created and then placed into that amazing oven. Both were absolutely delicious and so fresh tasting. The menu also includes salads, appetizers and other dishes, but I would highly recommend the pizza. The entire place, including the restrooms, was clean with a casual ambiance. Service was great. On street parking where you can find it and we were fortunate to have secured a spot quite close. We will come again and highly recommend. 4.5 stars.

Veggie pizza with vegan mozzarella (taken to go)

As a vegan, finding dishes I can eat on the Cape can be difficult, but Pizza Barbone always comes through! The housemade vegan cashew cheese is surprisingly excellent (and thankfully lacks the unfortunate gluey texture of many commercial brands of vegan cheese). A lot of their pizzas can be veganized - I've tried vegan versions of the margherita, forest mushroom, veggie, and potato pizzas and they have all been excellent but I will forever crave the simplicity of the margherita. I really enjoy a wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza and these are the best rendition you can find on the Cape. The beet salad is also a nice start to the meal, although it can be inconsistent - sometimes I've gotten truly massive chunks of beets and sometimes thinner wedges (my preference). This pizza is best piping hot straight out of the oven and cools off quickly, so even though I have ordered for pickup several times I wouldn't recommend it - stay in the restaurant! It is clean and bright and a lovely spot for a nice dinner on Main Street. I've always had attentive servers who were very helpful in figuring out what could be made vegan. I so appreciate Pizza Barbone!

Overpriced pizza with a soggy crust. Won't be going there again. Not sure where the hype comes from for this place

Hands down, Hurricane Bob's Scallops was the winner -- 11/10! Such an original. Think scallops with bacon and herbs, but on a pizza. So good! Chicken Pesto was a close second at 10/10, followed by BBQ Chicken. I can't believe I'm putting Quattro Funghi last because it was still really good -- just a more familiar flavor without as much of the surprise factor. The crust was thin and crispy, just the way we like it. Beer and wine are a nice bonus too. Definitely coming back -- I need to try the Cape Cod pizza next!

The cape was a pizza desert filled with crappy frozen crust greek-style joints. But over the years several pizza places have opened that make some great pizzas. But Palio's still holds up, everything is home-made, and well-made: really good sauce, nice crust, quality cheese and other toppings. They're stingy on their sauce, so ask for extra sauce unless you like it on the dry side. They're usually pretty efficient too, even during the peak summer months. It's a pizza joint, so don't expect much in the way of atmosphere, but sitting outside on a warm summer evening watching the crowd with a slice and a beer is pretty sweet. Oh, and they sometimes have musicians playing, bonus!

This place is a foodies dream. We were seated in a corner high top table with a window view to see all the people walking by. Our waitress was Brenna. Her service was impeccable and Brenna left nothing to chance. I asked Brenna about the Mac and cheese on the menu and website as there was a slight difference. She told me I could have the fried chicken along with blue cheese crumbles. Gold star 1. We ordered water with lemon and a couple of Shipyard Pumpkin Ale's to start. A flavor in the wing section caught my attention: Peach Bourbon BBQ. I asked Brenna if we could do those with chicken tenders. She said absolutely. Gold star 2. My love ordered Shrimp Tacos, I had the Mac and cheese with fried chicken and blue cheese crumbles. We were full and had leftovers to take. We also took Carrot cake to enjoy later. We settled our bill and left very happy. If you visit this place and have Brenna as your server you will know you had an outstanding experience.

The…read morebluefish pate itself was good, but rather on the salty side, so serving it with salt and vinegar chips made it pretty much inedibly salty (this was taken off the bill when the bartender noticed we didn't eat more than one bite each). My first glass of vinho verde wine was served at room temperature (the second was fine), and the side plate I was given was crusted with dried food residue. I also watched an employee behind the bar wipe her nose with her hand and then continue slicing citrus barehanded. The chicken empanadas were good but not particularly special. We also had one of the small pizzas, which was the best thing of the night, crispy and flavorful (with a little char at the edges, which we like). The decor is a little bananas (different shades of green between the walls, the napkins, the barstools, and the banquettes; five kinds of lighting fixtures; lots of sound and lighting items with exposed, hasty-looking wiring). The bathroom door doesn't really close and lock properly. And the restaurant is really loud, even half full. The writing on the menu, about family members and special recipes, tells me that there's pride here and real care about making a good restaurant. However, without the attention to detail (particularly cleanliness and hygiene!), that's kind of moot. Three stars instead of two here because the pizza was good and the staff obviously care about customers.

Outdoor and indoor seating, great lively atmosphere and parking. The food smelled great and there was a wide variety in the menu. My wife had the sole francese which seemed like the pick of the night. I ordered the linguine with white clam sauce. The pasta was fresh and clams were very good. One hang up for me. Sliced pepperoni in the dish. I was caught off guard and had to pick them out as I prefer my own hand at chili flakes if needed. The server was a pro. The dinner was good and dessert was a great way to end the night. Fun fact- The cakes were from modern pastry in Boston. I like it here and will try again if back in Hyannis. Great Vibe

Colombo's is a somewhat decent restaurant…read more The food was in no way bad, but it just didn't blow my mind. I ordered the Shrimp FraDiavolo. It came with Squid Ink linguine, I decided to pass on that and have regular linguine instead. They advertised it as spicy, but it barely had any spice in it. I've had far more spicy sauces at chains such as Olive Garden. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and they definitely didn't skimp on the portions. The Shrimp also was cooked perfectly. The food was steaming hot when it hit the table, which was great to see. Overall, it's a nice clean restaurant with very nice staff. But the 2.5% bill increase for using a debit/credit card is definitely a negative. It's 2026, most people don't use cash anymore. It's a one and done for me. The prices were a bit too high in my opinion. I don't think I'll return, but I think it's worth trying if you're on the Cape for a vacation.
