Pizza was great NY Style thin crust not crispy but firm enough with little flop. The homemade bread was delicious, but the size of the subs were small 8-9 inches only. read more

We have ordered from Pizza Al Bacio on multiple occasions, each time it being very good. This evening we ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a personal pizza with mushrooms. Love that they use fresh mushrooms and not canned - it makes such a difference in taste. We have never dined in, but we've gotten take out plenty of times. Our pizza arrived hot, and even when cooled - it is delicious tasting pizza! Give them a try, yum! read more

Best first time ordering ever! Delicious!!! Fast delivery, friendly delivery. Very good crust! Great sauce and cheese

All the food we have had here is solid. We are lucky to have a great pizza shop near by.

Our favorite goto place for pizza. I personally love the steak pizza. We also enjoy the pepperoni or sausage one too.

Our favorite local pizza! Giulia is a rockstar always making sure our order is correct while handling a million other tasks.

Our go-to pizza place. Love the veggie pizza and tossed salad. The house vinaigrette is SOO good!

We always do take out. The pizza and calzone are very good but the meatballs are exceptional.

Was hard to find a current pizza review. Ate in ordering a 5toping special. I tried to use the yelp coupon for 1$ large but was only good on Monday and Tuesday really. The pizza wait was 15 minutes it came out hot. It was really good and toppings mushrooms and olives were fresh read more

Good in a pinch. I had Stromboli and pizza. Not worst, not the best. Have not tried other menu items

We found this pizzeria in York Pennsylvania and it was delicious. The location was a bit off the beaten path in a residential area but well worth finding. We ordered a five topping large pizza that had pepperoni, mushroom, sausage, black olives and extra cheese. We had plenty for 3 people to share. We were glad to find a nice local eatery! read more

They are killing you with all the salt they use. Mi pizza is full of sodium, impossible to eat! I called them to inform them of the situation, and they didn't seem to care. Well, guess what?! Unfortunately I placed an order this evening and once the time passed that my food was to be delivered I called to find out what was going on? Only to be told that my food had not been picked up & they'd could call to see why no one was there yet. I waited another 25 mins & called back to find out that a driver should be at the restaurant soon to pick up the food & deliver it. The food will be over 40 minutes late & cold. If you are going to use a 3rd party it is still your responsibility to make sure the food is delivered according to the timing. Very disappointed that they never reached out to the driver prior to my call & even more so that they never called back to advise the outcome. When I called back to find out the status the man I spoke with was rude, & said not our problem not our fault. FYI once I got the food, not everything was there, I'm sure that is also not Pizza Al Biaco's issue? read more

This is the best food in the entire area!!! Since I moved down here from NY I have been trying to find and Italian meal fit to eat (even just a decent pizza). I had never tried this place because it was more Italian food than pizza that I was looking for. My wife took me there because she used to work at another restaurant with the owners. I had a pizza that rivals any pizza I've ever had, and I'm career military so I have eaten all over the world. My wife got a pasta dish that I challenge you to find it's equal anywhere. The staff were probably the friendliest I've ever dealt with. I would recommend this place over my dear departed grandmother's home cooking. Do yourself a favor and treat your pallet, GO GO GO GO GO to Pizza Al Bacio!!! read more

Paid for extra cheese, but no extra cheese. Guess I'll drive to Marcos from now on. This place started off good, then has gone downhill read more

We order from here often because they are quick and have delivery. Their food has always been very good. Lately for about the last few months I have been disappointed. The pizza has been not fully cooked with a pale crust and cheese unmelted. It has also been very soggy. I have thrown it out twice. My cheesesteaks also have been wet and soggy and fall out of the rolls. I'm an Italian Philly girl who is very discerning in both my pizza and my steaks. If you want our continued patronage your pizza crust needs to be a hair thicker to stand up and bake it so it is crusty and brown on the bottom. Also your steaks need to be toasted with sauce and cheese on top. Try buying authentic Amoroso rolls for that chew on the outside and pillow inside. Thanks! read more

We order pizza from here every other week. It's usually hit 90% or miss 10% ( sometime little salty) but generally it's good. I can't complain. It you want a good piece of pizza try the BLT style you won't be unhappy. read more

I only live ten minutes away from this location, but I had never stopped in before. Boy--big mistake! Pizza Al Bacio does pizza right. The dough was delicious, and the toppings were fresh and high-end: kalamata olives, fresh mushrooms, quality sauce, fresh basil, and more. We ordered a White Bruschetta Pizza, which often isn't done well by other pizza joints. Typically, with the lack of sauce, this pizza dries out. I was hesitant to order one from here, given my bad experiences with the type from other places. However, I am so glad I got to try this pizza from here before giving up on it entirely! The pizza was moist, with a yummy garlic flavor, fresh tomato and basil, and a delicious dough that hit the perfect balance between crunchy and chewy. Thank you, Pizza Al Bacio! My family and I will definitely be back. read more

I've never had such terrible service from them. Something must be the cause of this lack luster pizza where it seems like the toppings were just thrown on without care and a puddle of soup in the center. I won't spend my money there anymore. read more

Mostly we order a pizza or two from this place and the dough is always baked perfectly not to mention the texture and firmness.

We ordered our food online for delivery. Large pizza, half extra cheese and half pepperoni. They definitely did not skimp on the extra cheese which my daughter loved. We also ordered two hot subs and both were really good! Hardly can go wrong when fresh rolls are used. This place is on par with other pizza places in the area. We will order from here again for sure. read more

This is most likely the best hidden gem in York. They are staffed by people from Sicily so the authenticity is there, and the quality of the food is a notch above other restaurants. The specialty pizzas really are delicious, and don't forget the cannoli for dessert! Friendly employees as well. I'm no expert in Italian food, but we've brought a family friend over who lived for ten years in Italy, and she vouched for the authenticity of several types of pizza, including the arugula and ham (give that a try if you want something different). I also have had good experiences with the subs and fries. I'm a fan of the Italian one, personally. All in all, you won't go wrong with this place. Check it out if you haven't. I think this is the best pizza place in York. read more

We ordered from Pizza Al Bacio since it's lent and there aren't many other meatless options in York. My uncle had eaten here many times before and was a huge fan. We went with a large cheese and large veggie pizza. I have to say, especially for York, it was on the the pricier end. After tip, it ended up being $40 for 2 large pizzas which is high even for the DC area. However, the pizzas were high quality and fresh. The delivery was extremely quick and we were not disappointed with the meal. We would love to go back and try their meat options next time! read more

The food here is very good, but the take out service is not! It seems like EVERY time we do take out, something is missing in the bag!! Today we ordered two pasta dinners which are supposed to come with a side salad each, My husband asked when he picked order up"are salads inside the bag?". The clerk responded, "yes, both with Italian dressing". He came home, NO SALADS! Other times, side order of meatballls, salad dressing, bread, etc. were not included. We don't live that close to the store and it is very annoying!! Make sure you check inside the bag when you order even though it is stapled shut!! read more

Delicious pizza. We ordered through Carryout Courier, our food arrived quickly, the order was correct and everything was hot. The BBQ chicken pizza is awesome, and the White Bruschetta pizza might be my new all time favorite pizza. The house salad is also topped with a generous amount of Italian meats. I can't wait to order from here again! read more

The pizza is good however, The owner is VERY rude. I was coming right after work to pick up the pizzas and I was a few minutes late and he called me all pissed off and I apologized. Then I came in and he's tapping on his watch saying they closed 15 minites ago that's 20 minutes of my life I won't get back. There's no reason for that, absolutely none, don't be rude to your customers. Could've easily said sorry we really wanted to get out of here we closed at nine. Also, maybe don't allow online ordering past 8:15 if you close at nine and wanna be out by nine. Ridiculous. read more

So, what is it about York that places some of their best culinary experiences in the most obscure locations? Pizza Al Bacio is two minutes off the Emigsville exit of I-83, two minutes off the U.S. 30 "miracle mile." It sits in a modern but nearly deserted strip in a residential area, surrounded by what feels like millions of townhouses. You will need Google Maps to get there the first time. It is very, very good pizza. We visited for the first time on Labor Day afternoon. Your basic pizzeria space, about 10 tables. They offer their pizza in medium and large. The medium is a meal for two people, but there are so many good options, a party of two probably wants to order their own pizzas and take half home. The menu is very deep. My wife had a White Bruschetta Pizza. Mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, two kinds of olives and basil. She said it was delicious. Myself, I saw they had a Shrimp Alfredo Pizza, but I didn't feel like Alfredo sauce on my pizza. So I asked if I could get shrimp as an ingredient on a regular pizza. No problem. My pizza was a shrimp/onion/extra cheese. Quality stuff. They claim their dough to be made fresh every day. It tastes and feels like it. Good enough that you eat the crust after the goodies are gone. And the sauce ... authentic and delicious. Enough olive oil that you see some on your plate after picking it up. Tart, tangy. I probably got 20 good-sized shrimp on my pizza. Garlic knots appetizer ... superb. Hot, tasty and with a side of that sweet sauce. Now, I will say it's not particularly cheap. Our bill for that was $42 (I'm sure the shrimp didn't help). But we will definitely be back. read more

Yesterday we had a pizza & misc items delivered to our home. I have always enjoyed their products but I just had to write this so I could express what an exceptional experience this was for us. Weather was very rainy and we opted out of leaving our nice dry home. Person answering the phone was courteous while taking our order. We were told delivery would be about 40 minutes. We received our order in less than 30 minutes. Food was hot and one of the very best pizza's we had every eaten. Our delivery man was also very clean cut, polite and impressive! They obviously use very good ingredients and understand how to make every experience a great one from beginning to end. If you haven't given them a try, please do - you will not be disappointed! My fiancé and I LOVE Pizza Al Bacio, we actually go to the New Salem location. We've worked our way through the pizza list, and personally love the meat lovers! We aren't impressed with the wings, but everything else makes up for that. read more

Reading the reviews and perusing the pictures I was really excited to try Pizza Al Bacio, but unfortunately they fell short in several aspects of the order. My fiancée and I placed our order for a large house special pizza and buffalo wings which totaled roughly 33 dollars. It took us well over 45 minutes to receive our food, and when we did receive our food the pizza could best be described as subpar. There was practically no sauce on the pizza and the crust was raw. When picking this thing up it practically fell apart. The pizza also had almost no flavor despite the toppings on it. I've never been so let down by a restaurant in my life. The combination of the slow service, the price, and subpar food ensures that I'll never order from Pizza Al Bacio again. You're better off saving the money and heading to the grocery store to pick up a frozen pizza. read more

Pizza al Bacio has the best Italian food that I have had in York. I have eaten at dozens of Italian restaurants in York, PA, some terrible, some so-so, some average, some great, but Pizza al Bacio is amazing. I haven't found anything on the menu that I don't like. Tonight, my wife and I ordered the chic-o-philly for dinner and the homemade bread was outstanding. It makes every sub their extra special. You know you're hooked when you are already planning what you are going to get the next time you go before you're even done with your current meal. . . . . I'm thinking that I'll be getting the cheeseburger sub there next go around. It is also one of my favorites. read more
