This toy store is better IN EVERY WAY. This was my second time in the store, but my first time making a purchase. The shop owner (I didn't get her name) was friendly and asked me questions so she could offer me the best suggestions. She was very genuine, and I so appreciate that. This is a place that totally understands customer service! The shop is small, but offers plenty of variety and unique toys for plenty of ages. They even carry Eco-friendly toys for the conscious minded givers! The added plus was a cutely wrapped gift complete with bow and a card!!! Wonderful atmospheric toy store for a father-daughter day. Found some great toys - both for my 9 year old daughter and for me! Pixie Toys is my go to store for children's gifts. Heather & Robin are both so helpful in pointing out the new toys. My kids LOVE to go in there, as they are always so friendly. There are lots of great, unusual toys for all ages. We've bought several of the Green Toys Trucks for toddler gifts, Klutz books for girl birthday's, Erector sets & Rush Hour games for boys AND cute baby gifts. I love that they wrap everything so beautifully and give you a card. I have found their prices reasonable and often less expensive than elsewhere. read more

Totally adorable neighborhood toy shop. I only discovered it when i decided randomly to check out the local shops after a kiddy art class. The owner, Heather is very helpful and genuine. She really knows her products and she's got a lot of unique items for all ages. So no mass produced feeling there!! She even has Eco-friendly toys, that I know a lot of my greener friends would love. The prices are very reasonable and very high quality. The store is packed with goodies but spacious still because its so well organized. Toys are arranged by age and by theme, so you can find things easily. And if not, the owner is full of ideas. She offers gift wrapping too. Nothing overly fancy, but simple and classic...just enough for the kids to know it's a present and rip it open easily! She even remembers her customers and takes care to see what they are looking for. And if she doesn't have it, she'll offer to make sure to add it to her store in the future. Parking is available in the street, but it's pretty busy. So mid mornings on the weekdays are probably easiest to just park. Not sure if there's a parking in the back. The store can be hard to miss, but it's near the teahouse. read more

Visited this shop for the first time today in search of a specific toy I wanted to purchase as a gift. While they did not have it, they carried many other items of the same brand and so much more. I was overwhelmed in a good way. Beautiful toys, thoughtful books, whimsical smaller items, and a genuine and caring shopkeeper. Oh my gosh I couldn't find a better toy store if I had one of my own (although I do wish they had more American-made toys and clothing for my niece). First time visit. My son is into wooden trains, particularly Brio accessories. We stopped by Pixie's one Saturday and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. We needed a few more tracks and viaduct and stackers and we're able to find them there. I usually have to order Brio online but it's nice to know that there's a local shop that carries it. The shop owners were extremely helpful and friendly, too. Always a plus. read more
