Great service and attention makes the experience competitive with most places these days. Anchoring the corner of Magnolia and Lankershim for decades. Here's what I tried so far: - Honey Bear Pizza 5/5 I'd recommend it if you like sweet and spicy (it's not overly spicy btw so if you can't handle spicy like me, don't worry, you'll be okay!) - Field Mushroom Pizza 5/5 if you love mushrooms, go for this one! Some may say it's too salty and I think it's because they add sea salt. You can ask them for no sea salt. - Chicken and Mushroom Pasta 3/5 personally, I would've liked this pasta dish without chicken. I got this one time because I didn't want to order pizza, but I think pizzas are truly their forte. I wasn't too impressed by this pasta dish. - Smothered Cookie with Vanilla Ice Cream 2/5 aaah, this one was so hyped up so I was expecting something 'grand'! The cookie was served on cast iron skillet and at first, I was so impressed and thought the dish was going to be hot and that the cookie dough was going to be kind of soft, with the ice cream melting a bit. NOPE! The cookie was barely warm and the cast iron skillet was... cold -_- and the ice cream on top was just regular ice cream, nothing too crazy here. The field mushroom pizza ($18) was too salty and more mushrooms could've been spread out throughout the pizza. There was too much crust on the edges. We also ordered the pesto chicken pizza ($17.50) which was underwhelming. The cheesy knots ($9.50) were good, but we didn't taste the roasted garlic. The Little Gem Caesar salad ($13) was good. Nice ambience with the outdoor fireplace off to the side. We sat at a dimly lit table away from the music so we could hear each other talk. Last time I was here was before the pandemic. I wanted to like it again. Bill came to over $70 with tip. Sorry, but for that price and for this quality of food, I'd rather try someplace else. read more

I came here because my sister was raving about the pizza. I gave it a try. I would've given it a five star if I would've had found broken glass on the bottom of my beer other than that the pizza was delicious. Customer service was great. The ambience was nice. They had a fire Pits and heaters outside for cold evenings. Review is not for the food, but the facilities and lack of employees. Doing this review while dining in. We have been here a few times before. The last being two weeks ago. At the last visit before today, place was okay, but tables were not being cleaned fast enough after the customers have left. We where long enough to see if the tables will be cleaned within the next 15 minutes, but they were not. Right now, we are dining outside with unclean tables that we have to wipe ourselves. No tables inside are clean even though the customers have been gone at least 15-20 minutes. Every worker is behind the counter and preparing and cooking the food and drinks. Management should hire enough people to at least clean the tables. read more

The pizza was really tasty and so was my drink, but the actual place is dirty. You have to take a menu from the front of the place and since it's outside, they all have dust/dirt on them. The number sign they gave me for my order was also dirty and the chairs weren't super clean. I hope they can improve the overall presentation of the place so it can match the great food. read more

Love Pitfire Pizza! They remind me of Pizzeria Mozza - their pizza crust is so good like the pizzas I ate in Italy, and their pizzas are sized like large personal pizzas. For 2 people who want pizza, I recommend getting 1-3 pizzas depending on how hungry you are. I recently got 3 pizzas delivered from the North Hollywood location: - "Say Cheese" (mozzarella, provolone, Parmesan, tomato sauce) - my favorite, a simple balanced cheese pizza like I'd get in New Jersey - "Zoe's Pepperoni" (fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, basil) - classic cheesy pepperoni hits the spot, though I'd personally go a little lighter on the mozzarella - "Honey Bear" (ricotta, mozzarella, provolone, sausage, honey, Calabrian chile, bee pollen) - spicy, sweet, savory, but the flavors could be more even & consistent throughout I also tried both wing options - boneless chicken wings in buffalo and in garlic ginger. They come battered, fried, and sauced, and both have a spicy kick, though the buffalo was hotter, the garlic ginger was also pretty spicy, I almost couldn't handle it. And the heat doesn't mask the sauces, the flavors of the sauces still come through, and the sauces are evenly distributed on all the wings. Really tasty flavors. I definitely recommend the food here. I'm looking forward to visiting them in person sometime and trying their salads and vegetable sides. read more

First time here and it was great ! I like the way the service is set up: pay then they bring it to you and you find your own seats. I ordered the sausage party which was delicious ! The pizza portions are pretty decent but you can definitely share with someone if you get appetizers too. We got the boneless buffalo chicken wings which were so good especially since they were kind of crispy it didn't feel like basic boneless wings, they were delicious. However, I was disappointed because I was excited to try the new bbq chicken pizza and didn't even get the watermelon and ranch it was supposed to come with. Pizza looks a little sad too. What a lovely discovery for a sunny Sunday at last! My friends and I stopped by there on the way to an event and just loved everything about it. Tons of outdoor seating and affordable dishes. I had the chicken chopped salad which was yummy and filling. My friends had the beets w Greek yogurt, the brussel sprouts, the meatball pasta and some sort of pasta cacciatore dish but they swapped the pasta for cauliflower be said that was the best of the bunch. We had a film screening across the street from NoHo Pitfire, and with just a day's notice GM Sydney made everything come together so we had a wonderful informal afterparty. We couldn't be exact about headcount and arrival time but somehow Sydney and her excellent team made it all work so we could enjoy delicious pizza in such a fun environment. I gotta say I was recently REALLY well taken care of here. I was having a weird day, and I got flustered when trying to order something that I thought was on the menu but wasn't, and I have a bunch of allergies, and so trying to make my own piza came out to over $30 and I just was frustrated and sort of embarrassed so I ended up just ordering a sparkling water to calm down my nervous system and figure out what to do about dinner. And then a couple things happened in a perfect customer service way (I say this as a server myself): the guy at the counter mentioned it to the manager. The manager, Alison, came over and could not have been more nice. I was embarrassed and just explained I was reworking my brain to figure out what to do, and then she offered to make me a pie on the house. It was absolutely not anything I was fishing for, and honestly totally unnecessary. But she could see I was having a weird moment and just was sweet as could be - it was a kindness that changed my whole night. The pie itself was incredible, the ambiance was nice - but yeah, the grace that team showed to me was the kind of thing I literally talked to my therapist about. Ambiance: I love me a nice outdoor seating area. They have communal style seating and smaller group style seating. They have a fire pit area, great during the cold season. Service: it was good. Although if you ask my bf, he wouldn't agree. The lady taking our order seemed new, which I don't hold against her at all. She just missed to notify my bf that the soda machine was inside and it was self serve. He waited for his soda to arrive and was getting ancy until one of the servers came around and we asked for the soda he ordered. I honestly don't think their style of taking the order and giving you a number and trying to find you in the lot full of tables, people and kids is very efficient. I saw one of the servers, carrying my food (or so I assumed and was correct), walk around a few times and back inside looking for my order #, mind you I had placed it in a site where it can be easily seen. I felt like by the time my food came to me, it was already cold. Advise to the owners: go to Mendocino farms and see how their ordering system works, that's just one of the ways to improve it, I think your servers will appreciate that a lot. Food: we ordered the gem Cesar salad. Next time, I will ask for easy on the dressing. Each piece of lettuce was drenched in the dressing. Don't get me wrong, dressing was good, but too much of it can ruin the taste overall. I couldn't get myself to finish it all. I also ordered the cavetapi chicken and mushroom dish (this was the one that came out cold already)...not too bad, I liked it, just wish it was warmer when i got it. My bf ordered cheesy knots bread as an appetizer, yet it was the last one we got, we had to remind the 3rd server that brought out our pizza. Finally, the pizza...we ordered a cheese pizza with onions and tomatoes, and it was nothing memorable, at least according to my bf. The cheesy knots breads were probably the best dish we ate there. I would come back for those. I will give this place another try one of these days for their pizza because I can't truly rate this place based on just the pasta dish and salad that I got. Ordered three pizzas for pick up. Showed up exactly the time they said it will be ready. All three pizzas were cold. It felt like they just filled my order with some older previously made pizzas. I had to put it back in my kitchen oven to heat it up. Why pay so much and still have to go through all the trouble of heating up the oven and the pizza. Good pizza and great firepit! This place seems super cool to go with a group and hang out by a nice fire. My friend and I went here right before closing. I got the burrata ($15) and my friend got the field mushroom ($14.5). The pizza was big where she and I had leftovers. The burrata was disappointing to me especially because of the goat cheese that was on it; I didn't like it. The field mushroom was absolutely great. It tasted amazing and had good flavors. The place had great vibes! There is a central area that has napkins, cups for water, etc. The place is in a corner of an intersection. Parking may be difficult, but there is street parking. I think Pitfire pizza is so underrated. I absolutely love their pizzas. The crust is just perfect - not too doughy, not too thin, just right. I come here quite often and I have never had a bad experience. The service is always friendly and prompt. My go tos are the field mushroom pizza, the burrata, honey bear, and the smashing pumpkin. I also enjoy their chicken meatballs and pretty much everything in their vegetable section. The vegetables are so good that I sometimes get just the farmers plate (any 3 veggies) and a side of steak. Street parking is a bit challenging but there is a cheap paid lot nearby. read more

Stopped by for a nice lunch with my friend it's been awhile since I've been to this location they're right in the mix of noho arts district. I noticed the remodeling they've done and love the spacious outdoor seating with the misters they have indoor dining as well. The House baked focaccia was perfect to knibble on by itself or dump it in the Heirloom Tomato Gazpacho which is a cold soup which is refreshing for a hot summer day & topped w avocado. The Dressed avocado is a nice appetizer something I'll try to recreate at home. The Vegan Margarita Pizza was so delicious shout out to the chef for doing such a great job if someone didn't tell you it was vegan you wouldn't have noticed the difference, the Heirloom Tomato Pizza isn't Vegan because of the cheese but wow this pizza is amazing I'm craving some more now I definitely recommend this one!! For a light dessert have the Watermelon it comes with a mini bottle with of Tajin that you can spread across.
