Bartender will ignore you. We sat for over ten minutes at the bar while completely being ignored by the bartender and other staff despite there being only two other people in the entire restaurant. We finally just left because the bartender couldn't be bothered to turn around and acknowledge us. We live locally and used to frequent on a regular basis but I think this was the final straw for us. Glad I finally checked this spot out. I like this style of pizza which is similar to Corner Pizza and Del Lusso, However they both would charge $25 for this same pizza whereas Pitfire asks for $20. Had the Salsicciotta at Del Lusso a while back and it wasn't even close to being as good as this Honey Pot. Order at the counter, grab a number, choose a seat - Love this convenience and I don't need full service for this type of meal. That being said, the cashier and food runner were both attentive and super nice. The delicious ranch sealed the deal. I love this little plaza but yes the parking can be tough during lunch but I dont think its as bad for dinner. read more

Was walking by and saw the menu - I can never pass up the opportunity to try a pizza with hot honey on it and a spicy rigatoni! The vibes are causal and cute but unfortunately I felt the pizza and pasta looked better than it tasted. For the honey bee pizza, the tomato sauce was just watery and needed to be more robust in texture and flavor. The crust was also bland although the texture was good. Same with the spicy rigatoni alla vodka- sauce was on the watery side and lacked strength in flavor. The Brussels sprouts elote style were tasty though so that's a win. All in all, cute place and would return if someone wanted to but wouldn't go out of my way. Not many good pizza places in the area though so I do suggest trying them out! read more

I have reviewed Pitfire before but wanted to update. The bar is consistently good. I'm usually there during weekday afternoons and Jonas is usually making the drinks and does a great job. They have changed up their pizza menu a bit, I haven't tried them all but what I have had were good. Last review I complained about the wine selection. The reds haven't got any better unfortunately but they do now have a decent French Chardonnay which is unoaked, quite refreshing. It's too busy for me in the evening but if you're out for lunch or looking for an afternoon cocktail it's worth checking out. Service and receiving orders correctly has been rapidly declining. Unfortunately, much of it likely is due to management. I called after delivery of our food included a pizza that was not on a gluten free crust. I kindly requested to speak with a manager, whom likely was standing by as I was not placed on hold, so overheard Alex prior to introducing himself say: "ohhhh, here we go". Immediately I addressed I overheard him and felt very strongly he was the problem with that attitude. While he never acknowledged his poor attitude, he did respond with offering a $50 gift card. Which derailed my apparent anger, but it was necessary to call to the attention of the staff the allergy which was CLEARLY noted on the order. Alex was quick to respond that he understood it wasn't just a request, as an allergy it can make people sick. So, yes, Alex is aware of his shortcomings and also deflection of responsibility. I would not recommend ordering or eating here with any allergy. A few days later, a neighbor had us over and I offered to utilize the gift card. Her husband had to return to pick up the food because the order was incomplete. This is a tough time, I want to be transparent about how insincere Alex is managing the restaurant. Bummer, I once loved the vibe and felt safe in a decision to dine at Pitfire, but without management change, it's not a safe choice. read more
