Our table ordered the calamari and dip combo (melitzanosalata [eggplant] and skordalia [garic] were my two favorites!) I definitely recommend getting at least one dip on top of your entree. Now let's get into this entree, honey! The gyro was tender, flavorful, and was not as salty as some other places I've been to, which I so appreciate because I'm quite sensitive to salt. The tzatziki that accompanied the gyro plate was wonderful - refreshing and such a nice complimentary taste and texture to your meal. I love a good fluffy rice pilaf and Pita Pitaki definitely delivered. Again, the grilled veggie skewer was a great addition to all that protein you get. The Gyro meat was super tender and flavorful. I've had a string of bad gyro spots so I was worried this would be as terrible as those. Thankfully it was worth it to invest in a new place. I've always enjoyed this place, the food is good, everyone is friendly and I like the way the place looks. Today I bought a chicken gyro and there was a long hair in it :( that's the only complaint I have. Oh and there was also two homeless people right outside, which I know the restaurant has no control over. My small Greek salad was fresh and tasty, and came with a generous amount of gyro meat and pita bread. The lamb gyro meat itself was really good. My wife's chicken gyro sandwich was gigantic. It was interesting too in that it also had French fries stuffed inside. So it was like a california burrito, but a gyro. The quality of the food was more on par with a sit down restaurant. I discovered it by chance when I was working at a shop nearby and I wanted a gyro for lunch and this just so happened to be the closest place and I couldn't be more thrilled because this is honestly the best gyro I have ever had. It was so good I stopped by again on my way home to pick up dinner for my family. They are not stingy with the meat and their gyros are fresh, flavorful, very thoughtfully packed (the wrapping is tight and neat and has a foil layer underneath the paper to keep the heat in and maintain freshness) and the prices are fair.
