Let me tell you, once I got into contact with Pisa, they made life a breeze for me. From an accurate estimate to begin with, all the way to the completion of the project, these guys were awesome. Signed a contract and paid up front 5100 dollars. When I informed John I would be hiring someone else to do the rest of the patio he flipped out, started attacking me verbally, called me a scumbag, said he was refusing the work and would only return 4500 dollars of my money!!!!! I wish they had a negative star rating here! These guys are the absolute WORST. While they talk a good game, their work and their word are worthless. Their work was so bad that they walked away from money I owed them because it was cheaper than fixing the problems and shoddy workmanship they caused. Their owners will promise you anything. Try getting them to call you back when there is a problem. Something suspicious when a businessman says on his cell phone that he won't return or answer a call unless the # is unblocked. Running from something/ someone? I had used them in the past, and their work and word was good. Unfortunately they seem to have gone over to the dark side. Don't be fooled by their BS. It deserves a negative star. Pisa seems a pretty shady business. When contacted, this company never answers the phone. Stay away from that company and you will be better off using a reliable contractor out there. There are good ones. Unfortunately, not this company. - Jamie Paucer--- a guy without a proper license got Pisa's construction on his side to start a deceptive trading practice with honest consumers. We had a contract with him for our basement on June 13th 2014. We thought he had a license to do business. He does not. He used Pisa and Pisa allowed him to cheat good customers.Our basement was never finished till January 2015 . Finally we had to take him to Yonkers City Consumer Protection Bureau in early Dec 2014. In our complaint, we ask that Jaime either expedite completion of the project or refund us enough money that we can complete the project with a different contractor. If he does not comply with our request, we will proceed this matter at the small claim court for all the wrongdoing he inflicted upon us by screwing up our basement project. The time we put up paper work at CPB, it was over 6 months we started the basement with Pisa under Jaimie Paucer's management. The contract was poorly written and no end date was stated.This way, Jamie Paucer kept on cheating our basement project for 7 months. As it never ends except his creative extortion bursts and lies about the end date.He is a perfect crook and no remorse even after we did not get a finished basement and settled the case before the judge at CPB. After paying him 10,000.00 more than the agreed price which was 33,000.00 in the proposal, he left the place in an outrageous mess. His manners are despicable and once in a while he even threatened us as if nothing would happen to him. Beyond $ 43,000 he got from us, it will now cost us additional 6 to 7 thousand to finish the basement. It is a hell. Such a crook through a business license that belongs to Pisa, does not or will nor spare anyone. Finally the CPB made a judgment against him, and we are prepared to take them to the court unless they settle the clear and present damage. Stay away from shady contractors. It will save you a long nightmare. read more

John has done a pool patio for me, and his crew did such a great job, that I hired them again to do the tennis court, and the driveway. Both jobs came out amazingly, and John personally attended to all of them. Would hire again, and would recommend to a friend. read more

I had a similar issue with them. I used them in the past 2006/2007 timeframe. However this most recent issue they will not call back. I must have left them over 50 messages. I do not block my caller ID. I agree they must have gone over to the dark side. read more

Called to get a estimate to redo my driveway. Fernando Correia came over and introduced himself as the President of the company. Measured my driveway and gave me a estimate.($6100.00). I accepted his offer and was told around three weeks. He would call me when it was my turn. Waited four weeks and decided to call him. After several calls to his cell phone and the office he finally picked up his phone.( I left messages every time and never received a call back). He told me that they were on a big job and they would start my driveway by the end of the week. A week and a half later still no show and no calls. I called several more times and still no answers or return messages. i can't believe that a business President would treat a customer like that They should be ashamed of themselves! Horrible. I don't know much about the company but if it is a family business the name is beginning to suffer because of the reviews that i have been reading. If not whoever owns it better wake up or sell it before it is worthless. Possibly pick another President. The only reason i give it one star is because i can't negative star rate it and i had my driveway done in two weeks by Burdock paving in brewster for $5,250.00. They did a wonderful job and came when they said they would and it saved me $850.00! Thank you Fernando. If it wasn't for you and your companies terrible business practices i would have overpaid tremendously. In closing i just want to let everyone know to google this companies ratings. Don't be fooled by the ones on their website. I'm pretty sure Fernando must have written them. read more

I had an amazing experience with Pisa construction. John is a man of his word which is very hard to find. He finished in the time frame we agreed on. While staying in my budget his crew were neat and extremely hard working. Not only is there work beautiful but they helped me incorporate style and functionality. He helped me from the start with design, picking out the right pavers, designing and building an outdoor fireplace with water features. I was so happy I had them design and paver my front walkway and stairs. But I think the best thing is that John knew how to satisfy both my husband and myself we had different ideas and Pisa blended them together beautifully. I would highly recommend them and will hire them for my next project. read more

Pisa construction is a professional company that did a beautiful patio and outdoor kitchen for us John designed the job himself and saved us $3.500 by not having to hire a landscape architect he brought us drawings that he drew and they were breath taking I highly recommend them .!!! read more

I highly recommend Fernando and Pisa Construction. I recently added a patio with pavers around my pool. Fernando came over when promised and showed my husband and I several beautiful options which we had never even considered. I wanted the patio quickly ( me and everyone else) for a July 4 party. They finished 3 days before they promised and the work is beautiful. Everyday about 7 workers came ( including weekends) stayed all day until the job was finished. He was also the most reasonable of my estimates. Fernando was very knowledgeable. I have a fiberglass pool and he knew exactly what to do. My husband and I felt we were in great hands and we recommend them heartily. We have received so many compliments! I would definitely use again for other projects. read more
