We had DBS Remodel install a new deck on our house, as well as installing new doors to the deck and a new front door. After hiring them for this project, we doubt we will ever hire anyone else. DBS Remodel had a very thorough and organized process from the initial phone through the final bill. They were the utmost professionals from Brian, the owner to the office staff to the crew who performed the actual labor. Everyone was friendly, easy to work with, and just a pleasure to have around. We had a lots of questions during the project which they patiently answered and they were always happy to take time to discuss whatever topic we wanted to cover. The work itself was outstanding. DBS Remodel kept the work site clean and clutter-free. They essentially treated our home and property as if it were their own in terms of how they maintained the worksite and how considerate they were while in our home. In addition, they helped with a couple side projects that were needed that we didn't ask for, but really appreciated. Those small touches, while seemingly insignificant, spoke volumes about how seriously they take their work and their willingness to set the standard for home remodeling. We've been very pleased with the work and they met our expectations and confirmed our belief that if we hired them we would never worry about the quality of work being done. We have friends who have had several projects performed by DBS Remodel and they recommended them highly. Their praise was warranted and I will share our outstanding experience with others as well. You should feel comfortable hiring DBS Remodel for a project you want done right. read more

We had to remove and replace an attached 2nd story screened porch and chose DBS Remodel after exploring other options. From the start we knew that we were dealing with a professional organization with our best interests in mind. Before the project commenced, and following a thorough inspection of the site, we were provided with a thorough job scope (estimate) and made aware of any potential problems that could arise during the demolition and build. DBS obtained the necessary permits and handled all of the required inspections. The project manager assigned to our project kept us up to date on all of the progress from their end. The lead carpenter consulted with us on a daily basis to ensure that everything was proceeding to our satisfaction. The team assigned to our project was on site daily from start to finish and any time a new member was involved they were formally introduced to us before they began to work. What we got at the completion exceeded even our most extreme expectations. We can honestly say that this is a professional company whose employees have a passion for their work and an attention to detail that is reflected in their magnificent work. We highly recommend DBS Remodel for any construction or remodeling project. We're looking forward to another project with them in the near future. read more

I originally rated DBS Remodel very poorly because they are not able to take on repairs involved with insurance claims, which I was abruptly told when I called. Let me say that the reaction I got almost immediately was the most POSITIVE and HELPFUL response I've ever gotten from a company. As can be read in their response below, I received an apology and a very detailed explanation as to why they don't do insurance claims. Along with this came contact information and an offer to help in any way they could. And help they did! After I explained my situation, I received several phone & email communications from Alexis, including the contact information for several contractors they are familiar with, a link to the NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) website where I might do some research, and a document to help homeowners find good repair services. All this within a few hours of the original phone call! Now I know why everyone has praised them and rated them so highly. There was little benefit to them to take the time to help me. I thank them for their incredible customer service, and only wish I could use them on my project. If anything comes up in the future, I most certainly will call them first. read more

We recently completed our second major remodel with DBS and again, could not be more pleased. Their approach, which is exact and consistent, never fails to deliver a top quality product. From the initial meeting with Bob, working with the lead carpenter, dealing with the vendors, to the final walk through the process could not have been any easier. Excellent communications, detailed estimates, prompt and courteous staff and amazing workmanship are the standard for DBS. Bob, a true advocate, was instrumental in our understanding of the timeline, change orders, and industry issues. Our lead carpenter, Chris, turned our design into reality with an intense attention to detail, superior craftsmanship and creative suggestions. He skillfully managed all aspects of the project and was always present to assist vendors. Also, the administrative team, Jenn and Nadine, were clear in their communications, saw to our needs and addressed any issues promptly. We have completely transformed our space with the help of DBS and it is beautiful. We live in it daily and are thankful to the relationship we have created with them. read more

Dbs did an extensive renovation for us that included a garage, Master bedroom with bathroom and office and also a new kitchen. ( 2023) From our first visit with Bob who sat down with us numerous times to go over all of the project details and answer all of our questions. The entire DBS team was so friendly and helpful anytime we needed them. Each crew that came to do work at our home was wonderful too. Kind and respectful of the fact that we were living in the home during the renovations. Our lead contractor Shane was outstanding. He paid attention to the details as if it were his own home. The office staff at DBS is also amazing, they answer the phone every time you call and will answer questions or find the answer to your question and get back to you quickly. We really feel you get what you pay for! We often talk about DBS and give out there contact info. And let people know what a wonderful company they are to work with. Thank You again DBS for doing what you said you would do for us! We are so Happy with our new home! read more

DBS Remodel is dependable and trustworthy. The work they do is beyond words. You can tell why they have stayed in business for so long, they know what they are doing and they prove it to you everyday and in the end result. We had a Trex deck with cable railing installed and a accessory apartment done in our home for my parents. All aspects of the company are there for you. You always had the support and knowledge of the office staff to help you through the many questions you have. The coordination of the work is true professionalism. They were at our house everyday during the project working hard, and at the end of the day they cleaned up as if they were never there. We were informed during the whole process, and when we wanted changes they were made with ease. Everyone that worked with us was kind, polite, and professional. We are going to miss them being at our house but hopefully not for long for I want them to do our kitchen in the near future. read more

We built a completely new bathroom between the office room and the garage. Our project was not simple, and not cheap but we are absolutely happy with the result. From the start to the end, and through the long journey in between, the DBS team constantly held themselves to an unparalleled level of excellent. This company honest about the price, it's was not changed from the outset. Also they takes into account all the personal details and subtleties of the individual needs and wishes of the client, like color, shape, material and price. During the construction of the bathroom, I never saw garbage at the end of the day, contractors cleaned all after themselves. They also tried to do everything quietly enough and we could hear TV or read a book. This team is always working phones and emails, we could always get an answer to our question. Brian, Pete and Michelle are very friendly, polite and open-minded guys for socializing and communication. read more

DBS is great! They have done two major projects for us (finishing an unfinished attic area and a porch/deck combination). I have been impressed with the work they have done. How many contractors visit ahead of time to ask where they can place a dumpster, what time is best for them to show up, or wanting to meet your pets? They are great at working around your needs. In fact, when they did the attic work, they put down clothes from the doorway to the stairs first thing every morning and cleaned up completely every afternoon. The quality of their work is top notch (and I can be very particular). In fact, they just completed what I believe was their fourth project at our next door neighbors (starting with our recommendation), and have done multiple jobs for other friends. Everyone loves the work they do. They may not be the cheapest professionals in the area, but you get what you pay for. They are worth every penny. read more

After many experiences with contractors coming in and out of our home for various projects, my husband and I had lost faith that anyone out there cared about their quality of work. When we first met with Bob, he reassured us that this experience would be different, and it definitely was. Shane was the project manager for our basement remodel, and he was AMAZING!!! I knew exactly what to expect every day, and at the end of each day, my home was clean and in order. Every person that entered our home was professional, respectful, kind, and hardworking, and the office staff was amazing as well. I really felt comfortable and safe with DBS Remodel in my home, and I would highly recommend them if you want the job done well. We LOVE our new living space!!! Thank you! The Delfino read more

I recently had my kitchen and bathroom remodeled by DBS Remodel and couldn't be happier with the results. I had originally hired them to remodel my kitchen, but right before the work was to be done I had a major leak in my bathroom and so included the bathroom in the renovations. From my first meeting to the last I was totally impressed with the professionalism shown by everyone connected with this company. Everything was explained thoroughly and they went out of their way to be accommodating as well. They are polite, clean up at the end of each day, give attention to detail and do excellent work. I am thrilled with the results and would not hesitate to use them again. I recommend them highly. read more

DBS did a fantastic job creating for us a finished basement with a new set of stairs, two separate rooms - a music room and a work-out room - storage space and an egress window to get it up to code. They were fast, actually fitting us in sooner than expected. We were amazed with their progress each day and appreciated that the contractor always stopped by on his way out to update us on the status of things and the schedule moving forward. The team always cleaned up the job site, were personable, courteous and professional. It wasn't inexpensive, but it was certainly worth the price for the wonderful finished product and the peace of mind we had all along the way. read more

Not just as good as it gets.....but far better! DBS Remodel has exceeded our expectations from day one of our meeting to discuss plans to replace an existing front porch and add a roof to the front entry of the house. Curb appeal went from blah to awesome. All admin support staff were professional, courteous and helpful. The onsite crew was equally accommodating, friendly, timely and definitely expert craftsmen who executed our architectural drawings beautifully. Care was taken at every step to ensure that our home and grounds were kept neat and clean. This is a business you can trust to do what you contract for. read more

We remodeled our entire house, right down to the studs. We added a bathroom, removed a load bearing wall and swapped the living room and kitchen. DBS did an outstanding job, we have no complaints. They were professional, respectful and made a very stressful renovation tolerable. We don't think they were expensive, everything was well thought out and estimated costs were right on target. We appreciated the value of actually getting what you paid for. Would use them again and recommend them highly. Thank you DBS! -Irene & Victor read more

DBS performed a kitchen remodel for us and the entire experience was satisfying and smooth. The company's owner is incredibly engaged and he truly cares about his clients' concerns, opinions, etc. Lead carpenter Mike W. is the best in the business.
