My utensil kitchen drawer broke a few months ago and I could not find anyone to fix it ! DO NOT EVER use this company! We decided to go with this company because we are new homeowners & new to the neighborhood (Lagrangeville) We found Castaldo Services in one of those valuepak envelopes which we will probably stay away from after this experience. We needed our walkways, paneling & roof power washed. We also wanted to paint a few rooms in our home. We also had a big job in our garage that we wanted done. The owner Eric came out to look at our property. He boasted that he's been around for 25yrs & doesn't do Internet promotion because his business is booming from word of mouth. After his rant, I expressed that I wanted to start with the power washing of our walkways, paneling & roofing first. I thought this would be a good starting point to show us what his company could do. He gave us his price & said he would get back to us in a few days. Two weeks later & I didn't hear anything back so I called. He had his son come out and power wash. He left black tire tracks from the machines they used all over our walkway. The power washing on the paneling was not done well. It was still dirty. The roof was not washed at all which is what we agreed to. I called his so called secretary Jenny to inquire and got no answer after we paid for the services. We called Eric only to have him cut me off at every turn and deny that he was paid for services that he did NOT render! He stated that his asking price was actually only powerwashing the paneling when he originally stated that the price including the roof. He was very aggressive & when I asked him to "not get huffy." He responded "I'm not getting huffy. If you want huffy I can get huffy." I think this behavior from any man is very cowardice. This is no way to speak to a woman especially when that woman is your customer. My husband overheard this & began to raise his voice, which made Eric hang up the phone and then send us a long text claiming he provided good service. He also texted that his asking price was actually less than what he should have asked & then threaten to put a lien on our home. I guess that's his reverse psychology "go to line" after he's done scamming people. We never asked for a bargain nor did we haggle this guy. We asked for great service in a timely manner. Now I understand why he isn't big on the internet after being around for 25yrs. (He claims) He doesn't want to give people the opportunity to expose him. What you get with Castaldo services are switch & bait tactics & poor services. Stay away from this sleazy operation. DO NOT USE THEM!!! read more

I had a water pipe leak and my regular plumber didn't reply to my calls. So, I called Castaldo Property Services, who had their team at my home within an hour. Very fair estimate, and a very professional team. They fixed the issue and were off my property and within an hour. So, from the time I called to the time the work was complete was less than 2 hours! Their crew displayed a high level of courtesy, in depth knowledge of the plumbing system in my home, alerting me to future concerns on the condition of the pipe in the area surrounding where they needed to fix things. I'm a homeowner in the town of Poughkeepsie who recently used Castaldo Property Services to do work at my home. The company advertises as handymen who are capable of doing all types of home improvements and repairs. Although they are a newly formed company, I never would have known based on their professionalism and skillfulness shown. At my home they painted, replaced damaged siding, power washed my house, attached flexible hinges to my gutters, in addition to doing numerous other tasks with all at a reasonable price.
