Jesse was excellent from start to finish. Communication, scheduling and pricing were all informative and well done. The results of the sealing appear thick and consistent, along with edges of driveway along Belgian block filled. Also did the extra crack service which was also quality completed (do it before sealing). Thank you Jesse! read more

Jesse Kaplan and his Driveway Masters crew made the repaving process as seamless as can be imagined, and for his organizational aptitude, sense of humor, and--certainly not least--the high quality of his company's repaving work, he and his company deserve the highest possible rating. read more

Driveway Masters Paving & Sealing recently paved our driveway and we highly recommend Jesse and his team, including Jerry. Jesse's communication -- clarity and timeliness -- is impeccable. Jesse was able to thoughtfully and clearly articulate the pros and cons of options we wanted to consider, and provide pricing for various services, to help us lock in the actual scope. The work was completed properly, and as scheduled. Driveway Masters will be our first stop for future, relevant projects. PS I don't live on Nantucket! Not sure why it shows up that way. Jesse and his crew were absolutely amazing! They ripped up my almost 35 year old driveway and laid down a new wider driveway all in one day. The price was extremely reasonable and they also put in a beautiful sidewalk from my driveway to my deck in the back. If you're looking for a reliable driveway company please call them! read more

Jesse and his crew did an excellent job, thorough and timely. Would recommend to anyone needing a driveway done.

I highly recommend Driveway Masters! I have been using them ever since I moved to the area five years ago, and I honestly wouldn't use anyone else. They consistently do excellent work, their prices are very reasonable, and they are incredibly responsive. If I have a question or need something done, I can text the owner directly and always get a quick response. It's hard to find a company that is this dependable, professional, and easy to work with. After five years of great experiences, I continue to be extremely happy with their work. If you're looking for a reliable company that does quality work at a fair price, I highly recommend Driveway Masters! read more

We had a ton of work to do. Drainage due to another property's re-grading, repairing existing drainage, replacing a torn up driveway, and replacing Belgian block that was pretty crooked and beat up. We had plans from an engineer as required by our building department, in short; lots to do and a bunch of restrictions. Jesse and Lauro carefully reviewed everything with me and gave the good and bad to me straight. They were practical and prompt at every turn. The whole crew was incredible. Every single person who came was amazing and I felt like they were always giving their all. Our city made my project way more difficult than expected and Driveway Masters found a way to make it work while being available and communicative about the additional costs due to my city's additional requirements. In the end, they got it done & done well. Numerous visitors have complemented their work - including the city's building department! I'm thankful for their work and highly recommend them at any chance. read more

After having gotten 4 estimates for my driveway sealing, I selected Driveway Masters due to their knowledge, expertise, professionalism and flexible scheduling. Jesse, the owner himself provided the estimate, not some outside contractor as I had experienced with another company. I got the sense that he was a very sincere person and that he would be easy to work with and most importantly do a good job. I am extremely pleased with the results. I am very happy that I chose Driveway Masters and I highly recommend them. read more

After receiving several quotes and meeting the vendors, I did not hesitate to hire Driveway Masters, i.e., Jesse. From the first conversation to the last, he did what he promised to do when he promised to do it and always responded to my questions and concerns. His team was awesome, very hard working and professional and they did a fabulous job on my driveway. Jesse truly cares about his customers and it shows! Plus, he is a dog lover, so that didn't hurt :) I would highly recommend! read more

It was a pleasure working with Jesse. Super communicative and awesome follow through. The quality of the work was top notch. Lots of attention to laying a stable base and giving it time to settle. The masonry curb is amazing. Then the big day...the final step putting down the asphalt. Not too many times in life does something exceed expectations. This did! Perfectly pitched with no low spots, rolled and finished to perfection! The cost was comparable to other quotes with lesser attention to making a long lasting driveway. Wish there were 6 stars available! read more

Driveway Masters - Masonry/Concrete Near Me - Bedford Hills, New York

I can't say enough about Jessi, Lauro, and the entire Driveway Masters team. Aside from their incredible work, as you can see in the attached before and after photos, to a man they were knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and meticulous! Jessi is crazy responsive and efficient and has been in the business for many years and he, rightfully, is very proud of his business and his entire team of very hard workers. Lauro was super helpful working through the catalog choices before us as we were struggling to pick out what kind of stone we wanted for the segmental wall and walkway/landing. His entire crew is a well-oiled machine. In less than two full working days they pulled up that sad "before" driveway and laid down the stone segmental wall, replacing the timber one that lasted only 5 years, a walkway and landing, re-mortared the existing Belgian block garden borders and a brand-new driveway! That also includes their substantial work on regrading and reinforcing the base material and diverting drainage piping! Noteworthy is that they could have covered over some piping (as had whomever did the original driveway) that was unearthed during the base re-do but instead brought myself and their supervisor into the conversation to work through a solution that, had they buried it, would have created roof drainage problems and undermined the driveway after they had long gone. During these couple of days, I learned that his crew has been with him for many, many years and it shows by how well they work together, with all of them having a ridiculously strong work ethic, with attention to every detail. From start to finish they were meticulous, from hand picking/laying small asphalt pieces along the walkway edge, hand brushing polymer sand into the landing stone, to how perfectly they returned/stored our water hose they borrowed and sweeping the front step and every last stone in the adjacent "fire road". I NEVER write such a lengthy review but felt obligated in this case given what I got for the money and the service one doesn't often see these days. read more

From the onset, my interactions with the owner of Driveway Masters Jesse were top flight. He showed up on time and executed the driveway sealcoat and repairs flawlessly. He was extremely competitive in his pricing compared to my other estimates. I'm not easy to please and usually skeptical with service providers. I have only 5 star reviews for Jesse and Driveway Masters. The completed job exceeded my expectations. read more

Driveway Masters - New patio and retaining walls - Masonry/Concrete Near Me - Bedford Hills, New York

We had our concrete garage, asphalt driveway, drainage and retaining wall work to do. After meeting with several vendors, we went with Driveway Masters. Jesse is very practical in his solutions and responsive in his communications. It's clear he cares about his customers and their happiness with outcomes. The work turned out high quality and we are very happy. Would definitely recommend Driveway Masters. Jesse and his team even came up with a good solution for repairs after an unrelated vendor for another project damaged the driveway a bit. Five stars! read more

Driveway Masters, Jesse, responded quickly and suggested a patch to get us through the winter and then sealing in the spring. His price was reasonable, service was fast, and work was well done, He didn't try to talk us into anything unnecessary. I gladly recommend Driveway Masters. read more

I highly recommend Driveway Masters. Jesse is the best! He makes sure the work is done right and to his customer's satisfaction. He has a crew of some of the hardest working guys I've ever seen. Several neighbors commented on how fast, professional and neat the crew was. Jesse's prices are very competitive but with quality of work that can stand up to much higher priced companies. We've used Driveway Masters for driveway repaving and seal coating, concrete work, stair construction, and extensive masonry and stone veneering. Jesse was also able to connect us with and oversee the work of high quality contractors in other disciplines, including electrical, carpentry and ironwork, to help us complete our project. Jesse was attentive and responsive every step of the way. Some guys are all talk, but Jesse actually delivers on what he promises. read more

Jesse and his team did a great job sealcoating our driveway for a fair price. Notably, we asked about doing more extensive (and likely lucrative) work on the cracks in our driveway, and he told us he didn't think it was worth our money. To me, this shows dedication to his clients. The sealcoating was excellent, and he worked with us to fit the application into our schedule. Very responsive too- his care for his customers comes through in his communications. A+ work in Pound Ridge. read more

We had to replace our entire driveway, which was 35 years old. Had cracks and broken areas, mostly caused by Pine tree roots growing under it. I met with a few other Paving contractors, and I felt most comfortable and confident choosing Jesse at Driveway Masters, for a number of reasons. Jesse explained the scope of the job, which included completely removing the existing asphalt driveway, extending it, and putting down a new base layer, and then, about 5 inches of new Asphalt. The other contractors were not as specific about what they were going to do, and it seemed as though we would be getting a superior driveway, at the same or LOWER cost than the other estimates. I am extremely happy with the finished product, as our home and property look amazing. The crew of guys that did the job, and there were about 10 workers, were extremely competent. They had to excavate the old driveway, and load and cart away the asphalt, put down a new layer of gravel, and level it, to prepare for the paving. The paving crew was great, and made sure every detail was perfect. If you are planning on a paving/repaving project, I stongly suggest you contact Jesse for an estimate and conversation. I a attaching some pictures of how great our new driveway looks. Neil N Briarcliff Manor,NY read more

5 Star Review for Jesse and his crew at Driveway Masters! Repaving our driveway has been on our to do list for awhile. The old driveway was severely falling apart. Additionally we had a very bad water drainage issue. We added some parking area (the gravel) next to the driveway and we had been getting a pond any time it rained. One of the reasons we decided to use Driveway Masters, is that Jesse immediately suggested the need for drainage when he can out for a quote. Some other local driveway pavers said drainage was not needed when I brought it up! Drainage was clearly needed. The quote from Driveway Masters (for the paving) was in line with other quotes and was for better work (4" loose pavement vs 3"). Because Jesse wanted to do the project correctly (we wanted that too!) he also had cost for setting up drainage; which was well worth it. He installed a small catch basic in our backyard to prevent water from spilling onto our driveway and then a larger catch basic in the driveway. His crew did a lot of work to regrade the driveway and make sure the water would run into the basin. The upper basin was connected to the driveway basin, then piped close to 120' to the woods where a drywall was made to collect runoff on the property. During the process we also had his crew rebuild the stairs into our backyard. These had been done recently by another mason and they were already breaking. The solid concrete base Driveway Masters added will now last. We worked with Jesse and his crew to also do some random stone work. This included moving some boulders near the driveway and adjusting the stone wall to have a ramp (for a tractor) to the back yard. He is very receptive to custom requests and wants you to be happy with all the work done. The driveway work started in Nov and the paving was done early Dec 2022. After this crazy winter into 2023, we are so happy with not only how it all looks, but how well the drainage is working! It has been so wet and we would have had a lake! Now the driveway is dry and no ice runoffs. If you are looking to pave and want the job done correctly, go with Jesse at Driveway Masters! Driveway Masters did an incredible job with our driveway.  Our driveway was anything but simple, and it was in desperate need of both repair and upgrades.  I met with eight other companies, and Driveway Masters did everything correctly.  Jesse and I discussed the job multiple times in detail, which included widening the driveway, new Belgian block borders, a retaining wall, fixing a severely damaged rock wall, multiple aprons, new drainage, replacing flagstone areas, and tree/stump removal.  We planned this job months in advance, and he stayed in constant communication before, during, and after completion.  The job started and finished on time, within budget, and met every specification that was discussed in advance.  There were even some last minute electrical repairs that Jesse was able to help navigate successfully.  I would highly recommend Jesse and Driveway Masters for your next project. read more
