My car was scraping bottom thanks to the combination of the existing driveway pitch and drainage. Not a big project, but a tricky one. Bill Stanley spent close to an hour figuring out a creative way to modify the drainage and driveway so I could get my car into the garage, and still have decent drainage. He and his crew could not have been more professional or competent. They did a superb job and literally got it right down to 1/8 of an inch! They were courteous, pleasant, and hard-working, and did everything right. This was probably one of the smallest jobs they've done, but they handled it as if I was their #1 customer. They were great to work with, and the pricing was very reasonable. Our driveway was gravel, and I feel like I'm officially an adult now because I can't tell you how excited we are still to drive on such. Smooth driveway. We had gravel outside of the actual driveway all up and down and behind it, and they actually went into our woods, got dirt, and spread it over what they weren't able to take out so that we could plant grass and it would look nice. Whenever I buy something, I usually feel lucky if I get what I bargained for. Having my expectations exceeded is something I don't get often, especially when it comes to contractor work. When it came to picking the right asphalt contractor, Elite III Asphalt Services was the right choice. Four major Danbury Area contractors bid to do my driveway which is 170 ft. asphalt both up and down a slight grade that hadn't been serviced in a decade. Of the four contractors I contacted, Bill Stanley III of Elite III was the only one to return my call that day and come visit that evening. His bid was the most comprehensive and competitive of all. In fact, Elite III was the only one who positively said they could meet all my needs within my budget. I chose Elite III not only on price but because of the responsiveness and problem solving approach Bill had. After making our agreement, he returned a day before the job with his team Leader, Brandon, to walk down the job and go over details. The next day, Brandon and crew delivered on our deal, addressing all the major defects and then some, fixing spider cracks and installing a little ramp I wanted into my garage. When I got home, I was more than pleased with the results and went to sleep happy. Early the next morning, an unpredicted rain storm washed away the majority of their work and left my driveway looking almost as bad as before. When I made the call to Elite III to come back I was resigned to the fact that this act of God was going to cost me. Bill assured me that he was going to make it right. This he and his crew did later that week at no additional cost. Not only did they do what they said, their work came out mint, both times. I am so impressed that I had to write this review. Elite III Asphalt Services provided a greater quantity of work of superior quality in the most timely and professional manner - FOR LESS! I just had my driveway Sealed by Elite Asphalt and I must say this is a top notch operation. From experience I can say the material they use is noticeably not what you buy from Lowes or Home Cheapo.Its also not the watered down type most of the quickie seal companies spray on its top shelf. They estimated and quoted my job quickly and got me into the schedule in a very reasonable time frame. The owner and crew were very personable and flexible with me.The crew takes their work seriously and is very neat and efficient. Two of my neighbors recognized a good job when they saw it and got theirs done too all three drives are beautiful.
