Just part of a season in the books with our new landscaping contractor and all has been great! Unlike some other firms these guys stick to lawn care - no chemicals, fertilizers etc, but they do coordinate their work with Grass Genie who handles tick, mosquito and pesticides along with fertilizer. Joe and Annalise have been extremely responsive and delivered on all, including this week's aeration, top soil application and reseeding. Like Steve K pointed out they also vary the direction of their cut, reducing the potential for tire damage. We needed our front stoop repaired and the path to it completely rebuilt. We reached out to multiple landscaping companies. So many contractors don't call you back but Landworks got back to us pretty quickly. Once we started working with them, they were easily reachable by email and phone. The consultation went really well. Steve was upfront about costs and honest about what was necessary and what was extra. He showed us several options, made recommendations and helped us work out what would work best. After Steve sent us an initial quote, we made several adjustments to hone in on what look we wanted: the stones we wanted to use, the pattern and shape of the path. They were very willing to work with us being so picky. The work was done a few weeks later. It took two days. They worked quickly and professionally. Steve even sent pictures of the finished work to us since we were out of town for the final day. The work turned out great and now we have a beautiful new front stoop area that isn't falling apart. We contracted with Landwork Contractors for a large retaining wall holding up our driveway. At first I was a little nervous because I didn't know anything about them, other than the fact that I found their website very professional and informative. I am SO GLAD we went with them. I was immediately impressed by their communication and organization - they returned calls promptly, came on time, gave a detailed quote, and even called to confirm the exact time they'd show up - many times contractors are difficult to get a hold of. The project was very well planned. Equipment was dropped off the day before work was to start. Workers arrived on time and got right to it - it was a huge job yet I heard little noise and had little disruption to our lives (important to me because we have a newborn!). They finished the job in less than a week. In addition, the job was a little sensitive because of the proximity of the wall to two sets of neighbors and property lines.
