Hello, I had a 40' x 14' foot concrete patio replaced with Cambridge pavers. The patio is along the back of my house and there are 2 doors going into the house from the patio, one slider and one hinged door. The new patio looks good enough but the whole thing is too high relative to the house, the top of the pavers are the same height as the top of the door saddle. I can not install a storm door because it will hit a floor mat. I had asked Manuel to make the patio about an inch below the door saddles during the estimate and again before the pavers were installed, he agreed but didn't do it. It's discouraging, the patio looks nice but it's the wrong height. Now I face the dilemma of living with it or having another contractor rip it out and install it at the right height. read more

I'm long overdue with a review of Manuel Landscaper, but as I sit on my gorgeous patio and watch my kids play badminton and enjoy the warm weather, I figured this was the perfect time. We interviewed a handful of companies to install a new patio and stairs for our yard. Manuel was the most reliable and honest. From the moment I texted him, Manuel was professional and courteous. A few days later, he showed up to assess my yard and to drop off a glossy, colored brochure for Cambridge pavers. We texted about colors (we chose bluestone) and size, and we received a fair quote. Manuel returned a second time to measure and go over details. We felt confident about Manuel's work based on the many five star Yelp/Google reviews, and we knew he was an upstanding man based on our face-to-face meetings. Once we arranged an installation date, Manuel's crew dropped off all the necessary materials the day before and promptly began work at 8 am the following day. Manuel and two men worked for three days in the scorching sun to install our beautiful patio, six stairs, and a retaining wall. When Manuel arrived, we asked to move the location of the patio closer to a shaded area. No problem. Then we asked for a larger patio. Still no problem. Manuel encountered a slight issue with my uneven yard and said he'd need to build a retaining wall. He gave me another fair quote. We ended up with a stunning patio that has transformed our yard and is enjoyed by our family and friends. As we sit here one year later, the patio looks as lovely as the day it was installed. Manuel even planted extra grass seeds in areas where he had to dig up, and he also rearranged my rocks nicely. We decided to forgo a border and multi colored pavers and in favor of a clean, uniform look. Manuel will work with you to achieve the aesthetic that you want! Manuel and his crew did a great job on our walkway. He planned to come at 8:30am, they were there by 8:25am, and had our old walkway ripped up by 8:40am! The whole project was done about 4:30pm. They worked hard and efficiently. Not only does our walkway look amazing, but they left my yard very neat and put everything back where it was before. He even replaced some of the grass they ripped out (he expanded the walkway a bit so there was excess grass) in different spots in our yard that needed it. The price was very affordable compared to other estimates we got, and he uses quality materials. I keep standing at my window and just looking at our new walkway because it looks so nice and makes such a huge difference! Highly recommend Manuel! read more
