They are professional and have updated systems to identify problems. Highly recommend them.

If there was an option for zero stars, that is how I would have rated From Top 2 Bottom…read more In June I purchased the groupon and called to make an appointment with "Eric" - the owner of this business. We made an appointment for July 20 for the painting of one room. July 20 came and went and "FromTop2Bottom" never showed. I called them to get an explanation and never received a response. I emailed the company and two days later received a call and a message saying they were sorry and "busy." I finally heard back from "Eric" today and his explanation was this: "I only schedule these Groupons for rainy days, that's my availability." (note: it was raining on July 20, the day I had my appointment). He claimed that for the Groupons, he only scheduled them "on rainy days" (so, with 24 hours notice?) and that he "regretted ever signing up for this Groupon" and gave me excuse after excuse for BLOWING OFF AN APPOINTMENT that he made and confirmed. By the way, this "rainy day policy" was not ANYWHERE in the Groupon and I would NOT have purchased it had I been appraised of this ridiculous scheduling policy. Not only that, but I originally told Eric that I had 2-3 other rooms that needed professional painting and asked if he could give me a quote. AND HE STILL BLEW OFF AN APPOINTMENT. This guy has no shame and he runs a business like a 10 year old. At this point, I asked him to check his schedule and call me back with a time that WILL WORK. I doubt I'll hear back from him. Bottom line: From Top 2 Bottom cannot be trusted to keep appointments and you're better off hiring ANY OTHER COMPANY for your painting needs.

I had a plumbing leak from upstairs bathroom leaking through to my kitchen below. It was not an…read moreeasy repair at all due to the age of the house and the plaster repairs needed. Eric was referred by the plumber; I was living on the other side of the country at the time and Eric was absolutely terrific. He scheduled the work with my tenants, performed the work while they were living there - which meant that he had to work around them and keep dust and mess to a minimum. I spoke to him only a couple of times; he also took care of a few other odd jobs such as hanging up blinds. The work was done quickly and extremely well. You would not know that the leak had ever happened. He redid the drywall and plaster in a difficult corner, patched, painted, and it looks as good as new. Price was reasonable and fair, and it was greatly appreciated that he was efficient and showed up when he said he would.

I found Luis when I initially created a project to field some quotes for replacing some old carpet…read more Among the 3 vendors that responded and provided quotes, he was the most competitive. Eventually, a quote request for paint also reached him and he was able to provide a quote for painting the entire property as well. Throughout the whole project, he was very responsive and provided picture updates periodically to show the progress. The final project was to replace roughly 1000 square feet of old carpet with luxury vinyl planks and to repaint all walls into one uniform color. Since it was two separate projects, I decided to hire Luis so the work can be done seamlessly. The initial quote also included replacing the existing baseboards but Luis reached out when they were removing the planks that most of it could be saved and repainted. He was able to save me almost $500 on the project. I did have some doubts at first as he did not have any reviews on Yelp at the time when I reached out in early Aug'24. After having the quotes and meeting his partner, Leonardo, I decided to proceed. The work was quick, around 1 week from start to finish and the place was left pretty much spotless. Will definitely recommend to anyone needing work done in the MA/CT/RI area!
