Overall the cleaning job was great and our San Francisco apartment was nearly spotless after 3.5 years of occupancy. The reason I am taking 2 stars off is because I had scheduled a 1PM cleaning appointment and Ricardo confirmed everything was good to go. I had to reach out to him when no one had showed up, turns out no one came and another cleaner had to be scheduled but only came 2 hours later. It was a bit frustrating because had I not called Ricardo, I'm not sure someone would have shown up. No heads up was given on time of arrival before the appointment either. I understand mixups and scheduling issues but no apologies or discount were given, nor was there a clear explanation as to why no one showed up at the original time. We were in a time crunch as we were coordinating with movers and cleaners at the same time and every hour was crucial. The actual cleaning service was good but the customer service/communication was very disappointing and left a bad taste in our mouth. This review is long overdue. I have been using this company for the past 4 months on the bi-weekly basis and I have absolutely no complaints. We are a household of 4 (2 kids) + a small dog. The team do a fantastic job every time they come around, it's so nice to arrive home and find the place in great shape again. Anyway after I canceled them and got my credit for my voucher, I went to Yelp to help me find me a cleaning service right away. I found Pires cleaning along with a few others but it was Pires that was able to clean my apartment given the short notice. He brought 2 other cleaners with him and finished my place in about 1.5 hours. The work was near perfect and they pretty much got all the stains out of tub, sinks and fridge. Contacted a few cleaners for my move out cleaning a couple of weeks in advance and Ricardo was by far the most responsive. We agreed on a date and time and reconfirmed via text. On the actual day they texted on their way with the exact ETA which was helpful. Ricardo went over everything with me when they arrived, reconfirmed the price I was quoted and gave me an estimate of how long it would take. The apartment was pretty icky after 7 years without a deep cleaning. I was super impressed by how thorough they were. The kitchen including the refrigerator, stove, microwave were perfectly cleaned. In the bathroom, they got most of the stuck on mildew off the tub. Floors were great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a reliable, efficient, reasonably priced cleaning service. I booked a deep cleaning with them and was very disappointed. Pros: prompt replies and on-time. Refunded me 50% of the oven cleaning cost, $12.5, upon me telling them they hadn't touched the oven. Cons: The quality of cleaning was bad. As soon as they thought they were done they wanted to rush out even though I started showing them all the gaps. As part of a deep clean, we had agreed to cleaning the oven from the inside. They did not touch the oven, and even the outside isn't clean. The fridge was also supposed to get cleaned, and was only 50% done. I offered to move the few things I had off the shelves, which they didn't take me up on, and instead just left shelves untouched. Wrt dusting, they did not touch any surfaces like the tops of couches, tops of photo frames, baseboards - everything you expect in a normal service but more so when you pay extra for a deep clean. Finally, they gave me a biweekly cleaning price on text, and changed it when they came to my apartment. They accepted it when they looked at the text, however this was extremely unprofessional. It was not worth the $200 I paid. Take your money elsewhere. read more

Luciana and Ricardo have been cleaning our home weekly for almost 3 years. We originally lived in San Francisco and are now on our 2nd home rental in Walnut Creek. They are thorough and consistent with their cleanings. Every other week or so I ask her to do a deep cleaning of the oven or vents or if they see me moving furniture around (looking for the little doodad my kids lost lol) they ask if I'd like to have it cleaned underneath. The prices are high for the quality of cleaning you receive (I paid for a deep clean but my cleaning team didn't lift anything off of surfaces, only cleaned around them, and didn't clean under furniture that has a high clearance for vacuuming/mopping underneath.) I didn't know this before I hired the team, but Ricardo drops off his cleaners, makes the price assesment based off the size of your home, and then leaves. There is no quality control and it's diffucult to communicate this to the cleaning teams due to language barriers. read more

I requested a quote for a "move out" cleaning for a 2 bedroom. I was quoted $150-$200. I asked if they could do it for $150 because the house is small and he said $200, I agreed. The owner said his "team" was coming to clean the house, but when they showed up it was just one person to do all of the cleaning by herself. He said it was an additional $50 to clean the cabinets and windows. So I paid $250. He said it would take 2-3 hours, but with only one person doing the work it took a lot longer. For a move out cleaning I feel like the floor and walls should be included. There's no carpet (no vacuuming) and the house is empty. They did not clean the floors. I took a wipe and wiped the floor and it was black. Walls weren't cleaned at all and a few of the windows still looked dirty. I saw another review that said based boards and walls were cleaned in their "move out" cleaning but weren't touched at my home. I think they focused on the cabinets and refrigerator, but I think cleaning the floor is very important! Also the walls too. I'll have to do another 1-2 hours of cleaning myself.
