And, if the studio owner was someone other than Rebecca I just might have. But I can't and here's why... First off, the space if beautiful. Much of the original architecture is intact and it dates back to the 19th century (for real). If you're looking for a very unique space to shoot in, you'd be hard pressed to find better. The studio is on the top floor of the building and has a very large window that faces a courtyard and get's excellent natural light. It's very clean, spacious and there's great gear to rent at reasonable prices. I shot an editorial and two headshot clients there today and already want to make it a second home. Then there's the studio's owner, Rebecca. She's a gem. She couldn't have done more to make me feel at home and was always available to make sure I had everything I needed for my shoots. As a very well established photographer herself, she understands how important it is to get the shots you need and I haven't encountered a studio owner more warm, helpful and professional than her. The studio just opened and if you've taken the time to read this review Ruby Bird is a place you'll want to foster a relationship with as soon as possible.
