Our wedding will go down as the most memorable night of our lives, and that is in no small part thanks to our excellent DJ, Ben Coleman from Remixologists, aka DJ Benja Styles. I'm not exaggerating when I say that once we opened the dance floor during our reception, it was packed for the entirety of the night with excited guests from many generations singing and dancing along to his impeccable set from start to finish. Ben impressed us so much with his attention to detail, responding directly to how our guests reacted to each track, seamlessly transitioning to the next, feeding into the vibe while still surprising us with exciting twists and turns. As emcee for the night, Ben couldn't have been more professional. His announcements were clear, even the difficult names were pronounced perfectly, and every music cue during our cocktail hour, ceremony, cake cutting, and reception was perfectly timed. Ben provided us with very easy-to-follow instructions to help him shape our night. His communication with us was crystal clear; we knew exactly what he needed, and we trusted him to carry it out. We met with him a few times over Zoom in the year leading up to the wedding, and he worked directly with our wedding planner, who recommended him, nailing every detail and request made along the way. I was never once worried or anxious about our decision to work with Ben and Remixologists, as it was very clear he understood exactly what we were looking for, and he was friendly and confident throughout the entire process. Working with Ben was hands down one of our favorite parts of our wedding planning and the event itself. Now a month out, we're still getting compliments from our guests about how much fun our reception was. We wholeheartedly endorse Ben and Remixologists. Our wedding simply wouldn't have been the same without him. He's a true professional, through and through. read more

DJ L'Gitt aka Lee brought amazing vibes to our wedding and his music got everyone on the dance floor! We are so glad we went with him and Remixologists!! People have been complimenting our wedding and saying it's the most lit one they've been to! He was super professional, got our music taste perfectly captured in his mixing, and was organized and timely with setting up and bringing all the audio equipment we needed for the ceremony and reception. read more

Simon aka DJ Taiga was the DJ for our wedding in Glen Mills, PA, and we couldn't have had a better experience. From the introductory Zoom meeting about our story/preferences and vibe, through our multiple specific requests for entrances and where we wanted what, he was friendly, professional, and awesome. He had wonderful, on-point recommendations throughout the process for us, and it was easy to share music and ideas with him. The event itself was executed flawlessly - we had a ton of guests even asking if we could share his playlist in totality, because people enjoyed it so much. Everyone danced throughout - it was really perfect. Thank you so much! Highest possible recommendation. read more

David (DJ JAMS Bond) was absolutely incredible! From our very first phone call, every detail was on point. He truly listened to what we wanted and brought our vision to life perfectly. The music was amazing from start to finish, our dance floor was full all night! The entire Remixologists team was fantastic to work with, professional, organized, and so much fun. David's energy, attention to detail, and seamless transitions made the night unforgettable. We can't thank him enough! read more

Ben from DJ Benga of Remixologists spun for my wedding on 8/27/23 and he was absolutely amazing!!! We spoke with Simon who paired us with Ben and it was a seamless, organized, type A bride's dream to work with this team. Ben had awesome energy and truly went above and beyond. I'm a musician and not only did he put together a sick set of some of my songs to spin during the reception, but he also mixed together sons for my husband and I's first dance AND an instrumental track for a choreographed performance set (I'm extra, I know). Beyond all of the dope customization from Ben, he possesses a perfect balance of owning the room when needed (announcements and what not) while being laid back; I've been to weddings where you can tell the MC thinks it's their day but Ben couldn't have been more of the opposite! Most importantly, he crushed the music and perfectly encapsulated the vibe we were going for. There's enough stress to deal with on a wedding day, but I can guarantee you won't be sorry if you go with Remixologists and DJ Benga. They have their craft down to a science. *Barb was an absolutely dope addition to the night. Worth every penny. She crushed the drums and added an element of energy and swag that only further turned the energy of the dance floor up.* read more

DJ JAMS BOND! (David Cruz) That is the DJ you want for your wedding! David really went ABOVE AND BEYOND for our wedding, our guests really loved his mixes and choice of music. David and the remixology team are extremely organized and very friendly. David was very accommodating and made the process of planning for our wedding so much easier! David made sure that all of our choices in music were played and really fit his choice of songs to our liking! David was extremely kind and patient and a great pleasure to work with! He was extremely flexible and really should be commended for his attention to detail! read more

Luke aka DJ Coolhand was our wedding DJ and we loved him from the moment we had our pre-booking interview to our prep call and finally at the wedding! The day of our wedding was a record breaking storm in NYC and there were a lot of traffic/logistic problems but Luke arrived on time and did multiple checks to make sure all of the sound was perfect! We felt like he had everything under control at all times and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. The music was great all night and all of my guests had a great time! We didn't give him a list of music to play, he just read the room and all of the music selections were perfect. Thank you for making our wedding perfect, Luke!! read more

I had the pleasure of working with David Cruz (aka DJ Jams Bond) for my wedding in October '22. From our first Zoom call, David and the entire Remixologists team was super responsive, organized and knowledgeable. What really stood out was his strong attention to detail, such as making sure he knew how to pronounce all the names of the wedding party. Most importantly, David was extremely flexible and had a wealth of musical knowledge. We covered everything from Frank Sinatra to The Killers. David was also able to accommodate last minute changes with a surprise event my wife planned very close to the wedding day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience working with the Remixologists team, and David in particular. We would strongly recommend them for any upcoming events. read more

We worked with DJ Lee, and he was absolutely spectacular! He really kept the dance floor going ALL night long that we didn't want the night to end! He mixed music seamlessly and had the most popping beats and music! He also doubled as the emcee and captured the audience's attention from start to finish. Working with him prior to the wedding was also super easy and efficient! We wanted to use snippets of a song to create our first dance song and our father-daughter/mother-son dance song, and he made the mix flawless and even better than what we had imagined when planning out our dance! He was extremely responsive, no matter what time or day we wanted to talk to him. He was so reliable, fun, and talented - we couldn't have asked for a better DJ! We highly recommend the Remixologists for any wedding, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day absolutely unforgettable! read more

DJ Benja Styles, Barb and the entire crew at The Remixologists delivered everything they promised and more than I knew I needed. Let's start with the most important part... the music. During the booking process (which was extremely easy and user friendly) I was asked for a bit of background on my relationship to music. This question felt purposeful to me... and I believe it was used to help match me to the appropriate fit for the big day. They matched me up with DJ Benja Styles and couldn't have been more spot on. We did an intro zoom call so that DJ Ben and I could chat about musical tastes, desired vibes for the evening and just get to know each other a bit. I think what struck me most was a feeling of comfort that Ben truly understood the eclectic musical tastes of myself, my wife and our guests. Everything from Rage Against the Machine to K-Pop, Frank Sinatra to Wu-Tang, and everything in between. He understood the assignment, and he proved that at the party! He knew the exact song to play at the exact moment, I don't think I've ever seen a DJ with more skill for reading a room. I was originally on the fence about live band vs DJ. I really like to hear the recorded versions of my favorite songs on the dancefloor... but cannot deny the energy a live band brings to a party. Luckily The Remixologists have a solution for that! We decided to add Barb Duncan who is an INCREDIBLE drummer to the set up. Barb played along with the songs while Ben spun... and it added SO MUCH energy to the night!! I think the amazing thing about how well Barb played, is that she performed enough for you to feel her presence, with perfectly timed syncopated rhythms... but not so much to overshadow the songs. She knew to dial it back on certain songs or let it rip on others... and our guests were raving about the sound! I highly recommend going this route for a unique experience, especially if your playlist is heavy with rock and hip hop! The dance floor was like an explosion of amazing energy (I posted some pics to prove it)... and just when you thought they were gonna let up and slow things down a bit... the party just kept intensifying. This was per my request... we didn't want any dull moments. I will NEVER forget that night, and there are so many core memories I have because of the work that Ben and Barb did. It was absolutely perfect. My friends and family still talk about what an amazing party it was. As far as the overall experience outside of the music.. the communication was ON POINT. Their use of Basecamp to share important spreadsheets and documents was super helpful in keeping organized and making sure that no details were missed. I became so fixated on detailing the playlists that I forgot we actually needed to think logistics... timelines for speeches and key moments, names of the bridal party and family members for announcements, song clips for curated moments... we even had a few games played throughout the night the Ben expertly MC'd for us! My head was spinning at the amount of things we needed to keep track of but Ben is a PROFESSIONAL. This clearly was not his first rodeo and he knew exactly how to guide us through the process and how to keep the evening moving along smoothly. He worked in tandem with our wedding planner and coordinator and we had no worries on the big day. I even had a special request to perform a surprise song for my wife and Ben provided the set up I needed. Professional, personable and polished, the best!!! read more

I highly recommend you hire DJ Benja!! I am a Jamaican American, and it was necessary to highlight both cultures at our wedding. DJ Ben was able to accomplish more than I could have ever imagined. No one could get off the dance floor, we danced the night away. DJ Ben played old-school (the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s) reggae that resonated with my Father, Uncles, and Family from Jamaica. As well as pop music, r&b during dinner, basically everything I asked for, and more! DJ Ben was super professional, responsive, and organized. Remixologists set us up with the right DJ to make our wedding ever-lasting and DJ Ben a forever friend! read more

I had the pleasure of having Ben from Remixologists DJ my wedding in mid-June. From our first call together, I found Ben to be very responsive and organized. He responded quickly to messages, and provided helpful templates that my fiancee and I used to help with reception planning and song selection. Closer to the wedding date, we talked through song selection, the flow of the reception, and name pronunciations for the wedding party as well. It was clear throughout this experience that Ben cares a lot about providing a good experience for couples on their wedding day. He put in a lot of effort into pronouncing the names of the wedding party correctly, he asked about the dress code for the event and was dressed very professionally for the event, and when we realized last-minute in our wedding planning that we needed a sound system for the ceremony, he was able to help us out as well. On top of this, Ben did a great job as a DJ as well, getting the party going after dinner while being responsive to our song/genre preferences too. Overall, I would highly recommend working with Remixologists and Ben in particular! read more

The Remixologists are NEXT LEVEL. We had Ben as our DJ who comes from many years experience playing at some of the biggest clubs in NYC. And he absolutely did not disappoint. Music at a wedding is crucial for the party so this is where you need to invest. Choosing Ben is the best investment you will do. Not only will he play all of your hit songs and then some but properly reads the room and properly mixes new school with old school which keeps EVERYONE on the dance floor. PLUS, we invested in a saxaphone player and drummer for the cherry on top of every song. THIS WAS INCREDIBLE AND WORTH EVERY PENNY. If you can, request Barb the drummer - you think you're cool and talented until you see Barb in action. We did not leave the dance floor once. The only time was to go to the bathroom but even then we were afraid to miss the next song because we knew it was going to be a banger. The DJ is the one consistant thing all 200 of our guests keep raving about. We know you're on your deep search for the best DJ at the best price etc etc. so I hope this review helps you narrow it down. I was not paid to say this. They are that good and deserve all the credit. We will be on this wedding high for a long time thanks to Remixologists. read more

In typical COVID-19 fashion, our wedding was postponed a year, so we had the opportunity to work with David for 2 years to sort out the music for it. He was super patient, and also provided helpful, thoughtful and candid feedback on what we were thinking for the event. In fact, we had several wedding guests comment on how awesome the music was. Very highly recommended! read more

DJ Benja Styles is excellent. He was in charge of music for both the ceremony and reception. We had a mostly younger crowd (20-35) at the wedding. Some testimonials I got from guests: "Most fun wedding I've ever been to" "Non-stop bangers all night. I didn't sit down once the dance set started" "I wish we went with a DJ like that for our wedding." Prior to the wedding, Ben was super communicative and friendly without being overbearing. He was very reassuring and we knew we didn't have to worry about him from the conversation - he had it handled. If you have friends that like to party, look no further. Our plan for the wedding was "Start classy, but turn it into a rager by the end of the night." Ben captured the vibe we were going for completely and knew exactly what to play to keep the party moving. Excellent transitions, never let a song overstay it's welcome, and executed every planned song perfectly. Worth every penny. If Ben is a benchmark for the rest of the Remixologists crew, you cannot go wrong. Could not recommend them enough from start to finish. Easy invoicing, easy planning, and flawless execution. Look no further. read more

You can not go wrong with Remixologists as your DJ for your wedding. We had DJ Ben for our wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, and it was a perfect experience. Prior to the wedding day, Ben was available for any questions we had at any point. They also have a program that you can use to be in constant contact with your DJ if needed. We didn't give Ben much guidance, we just gave him a link to a playlist with a few songs from spotify and he was able to take that and create such a perfect, fun, dance-filled night for us. He really has a talent for understanding his clients and tailoring his music perfectly to their interests. You would have thought he knew us for years. From impromptu backup music to some of the speeches to keeping everyone on the dancefloor the entire night, I would not have changed anything from our wedding night. You can trust Remixologists wholeheartedly to do an amazing job at your wedding. We couldn't recommend them enough. read more

We chose to have Remixologists for our Brooklyn, NY wedding in early May and I can't say enough good things about them and specifically Ben (DJ Benjastyles). We decided early on in our more-than-year-long wedding planning to use Remixologists after listening to a few sample playlists that we absolutely loved. Throughout the entire process working with them as a vendor, Ben was extremely responsive and organized and often gave us advice or suggestions based on his past experiences that truly contributed to the incredible success of the wedding celebration. My wife and I, collectively, have a very wide array of musical interests from instrumental metal music, to post rock, to disco, to R&B for which Ben was extremely accommodating and incredibly capable of incorporating into our evening--from the Explosions in the Sky song to accompany the wedding party processional to the Beegees, Queen, Nelly, and Various 90s hits that created the best dance party we could've hoped for. Ben was open to all of our music selections and worked them into our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception without a hitch. His ability to read the crowd and seamlessly mix the music in response was phenomenal and we received countless compliments on how good he was. Apart from the music, Ben was a great emcee for the evening and his timing was perfectly in sync with our expectations and the timelines we had established with him during planning. He was charismatic and well-spoken and made all of the transitions of the night fluid. Ben was also very accommodating in meeting with us whenever we had questions or updates and was open and honest with his feedback and direction. He helped us think through several nuances that we hadn't before considered and clearly demonstrated the value of his experience through assisting us. Can't recommend enough! -Ben and Kendra read more

DJ Lee was incredible!!! Look no further you NEED to book Remixologists for your event. I spent hours reading reviews and vetting different vendors and Remixologists was honestly the best choice I made for my wedding reception! Specifically DJ Lee was AMAZING. He was super organized from the get go which was so helpful leading up to the wedding day. I had a fusion wedding and he seamlessly worked in Indian songs into the hiphop/pop/80s music that kept everyone on the dance floor all night! DJ Lee was also a great emcee and created the perfect mix of music and energy to get people of all ages out of their seats. I can't recommend Remixologists enough!! Thank you for making our night unforgettable! read more

David Cruz, part of Remixologists DJs, has been an absolute wonder. Our wedding would not have gone nearly as smoothly or been as fun without him. My friends advised me that the two most important things for a wedding are the music and the food. A good DJ will set the atmosphere, coordinate the other scheduled events for the night, and adjust the music to the crowd's energy in real-time. David went above and beyond. He helped us organize our wedding night timeline (grand entrance, first dance, toasts, announcing different events like cake cutting and lion dancing). He also helped set up a speaker/mic system for our outdoor string quartet (additional fee). From our initial meeting, David was fully prepared for any and all questions. He is super flexible and accommodating with last-minute changes and has been invaluable for bouncing ideas off (e.g., how past weddings have decided to do things). I've never had experience planning such a large (230-person) event before, and David's extensive experience was invaluable. David is excellent at understanding what we wanted and when we weren't sure, he was great at suggesting options and offering solutions or alternatives. He got back to us almost immediately whenever we reached out for questions and was also happy to link up through Zoom when we needed a quick brainstorming session with him. To reference his music skills in particular: My music genre tastes differed from my husband's. We also wanted to ensure the older crowd felt included with some music from older generations. In addition, we wanted our friends to dance and have fun with primarily pop music from 2000-2015. Despite these challenges, David created a fantastic music set. He knew how to keep the dancing going and when to let the crowd chill during the wedding night. During the wedding day, there were some last-minute changes to the schedule (additional toast speakers). He readjusted the schedule with our maître d' and ensured smooth transitions between the events. Calvin and I received compliments from guests on the music even before the night was over! I highly recommend booking David for your wedding and any major event you might have. I can't recommend him enough to friends and family who have upcoming weddings. read more

We have nothing but good things to say about DJ Benja Styles. We felt very confident partnering with him after our first conversation and he exceeded all of our expectations. He created an energetic atmosphere that kept our guests dancing all night long. We had so many compliments on our music after our wedding. Would highly recommend him to anyone! read more

Oh my gosh Simon (DJ Taiga) absolutely ROCKED our wedding!!!! My husband and I had sooooo much fun dancing and singing and we truly had the most perfect day and night. We had many guests of different ages and cultural backgrounds come up to compliment us (like we had anything to do with it?!) on his skills as a DJ!! My husband is 100% Portuguese and I am not. Having the Portuguese culture incorporated into our wedding was very important to my husband and his family. Simon sent us some sample Portuguese playlists and truly went the extra mile to ensure the Portuguese component flowed naturally throughout our wedding reception. He totally knocked it out of the park! Simon's transitions were seamless, he read the crowd beautifully, he played many of our favorite songs (most of which we did not tell him in advance!), and kept our dance floor packed all night!! Simon truly helped make our dream wedding a reality - we cannot thank him enough!!! Some of our guests asked for our DJ's information for future events - if that doesn't say it then I don't know what else will! Simon was fabulous and incredibly helpful throughout all of our wedding planning! He was extremely responsive via email and was always down to hop on a Zoom to clarify anything for us. We're so sad our wedding is over, but we are looking back grinning because it was better than we ever could have imagined. We credit Simon as the number one reason why we had so much fun at our reception - it was a priceless experience! We hope our paths cross again at events in the future!! If you decided to book him, let me know so we can come as guests to what's guaranteed to be an amazing evening :) read more

DJ Mike was the first and only DJ we met with. Mike came up from Philly to meet with us in Midtown to talk about our NJ based wedding (three states in one sentence!) The instant Perry and I met him, we felt like we'd be friends with him - he instantly got our sense of musical taste, wedding style, budget, and personalities. He had DJed plenty of weddings like ours (very cross generational, cross cultural, and stiff Asian families who don't dance much). Mike was the easiest of our vendors to work with - he's direct, crystal clear, and responsive. He's pretty understanding and flexible, and in addition, he's affordable!! If you look at their site, all three of the Remixologists DJ for clubs and they're all professional without being cliche. Their contract is solid and they're genuinely nice and smart guys to work with. The day of, everything was set up right, the music played in order, and he was fabulous about following the subtle clues I shot his way to end a song or begin. I have nothing bad to say about Mike, other than I'll be sending more people his way! read more

Wow!!!! Ben and Zach were absolutely incredible!! My guests were on the dance floor the entire night, and I had so many people telling me that the music was the best that they had heard at a wedding. Simon is a joy to work with from start-to-finish. He's easygoing but organized, and he understands and appreciate unique music tastes. He's able to effortlessly blend what you ask for with songs he knows you'll like based on his expertise and he'll ensure your dance floor is packed all night long. Highly recommend hiring him for your after party too, we went for a completely different music vibe and it was equally epic. We also had floating instruments to support his DJing which REALLY took things to the next level. Legitimately epic! read more

My wife and I could not have been happier with Remixologists. We had the pleasure of working with DJ Lee. He made the entire process very simple and seamless. The use of the online portal to exchange and organize information (wedding party names, timeline, music choices, etc) made things very easy. DJ Lee was also very helpful in providing some example introduction songs, which we were a little unsure of going into it. Payment was a breeze. They made the payment schedule very clear from the get go, and being able to pay via PayPal and Venmo was super helpful. As we got closer to the big day, we had a great call to just review everything and make sure we were on the same page. He also provided his mobile number so we could text back and forth for any remaining things (last minute song requests, etc) over the last few days. The day of, DJ Lee was a consumate professional. He did a great job staying in communication with the venue and the both of us (our request). He also helped us figure out when/how to do 2 last minute huge cousin pictures. The music was perfect. Our main priority was having a non-stop dance party, and DJ Lee delivered in spades. Seriously, my mom and all my aunts were grooving and shaking even before the salads were served. Then, after dinner, he kept the party going the entire time. Despite our very biased standpoint, my wife and I both agree that our wedding was the most fun one we've been to, and DJ Lee was a huge part of that. We highly recommend Remixologists and hope you're lucky enough to get DJ Lee on your big day. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We booked the Remixologists for our wedding and couldn't be happier!! If you love music and want your dance floor packed - these are your people! We worked with Luke and he was able to combine modern hip hop and pop along with classic oldies and salsa seamlessly. He met with us a week before the wedding to go over all the details, which we really appreciated. Luke did a great job announcing formalities, but never talked too much on the mic. He let the music do the talking and everyone listened :) Forever grateful to this team for making our wedding SO MUCH FUN. read more

Simon was a true professional. He did a fantastic job of improvising to the venue's demands. He mixed music together seamlessly and we got many compliments about how professionally it was done and that people felt they were at a concert or a club rather than a typical wedding. The song choice was also a perfect mix of what we had wanted and what was working with the crowd. Equally importantly, Simon was a lot of fun to work with and he was very nice and down to earth in person. He took the time to learn all our family's names and on the day, his pronunciation was perfect. For such an important event as a wedding, you want to hire someone that cares about you as people rather than just clients and we knew from the first time we met Simon that we could trust him. We could not have asked for a better experience and we feel Simon was a huge part of our wedding being a success. We cannot thank Simon enough. read more

We had the pleasure of having Lee DJ our wedding in October and he was outstanding! Leading up to the wedding, we spoke to Lee a few times so he could get a sense of the style we were looking for. A week or so before the wedding, Lee went through each and every detail with us to make sure he captured what we wanted on our day. Many of the details were things we hadn't even considered! We wanted to maximize the amount of dancing at our wedding and Lee provided some suggestions around how we could best structure our day-of timeline. He was always very professional and we appreciated his flexibility when we had to change our timeline last minute due to some confusion with our venue. Day of, Lee arrived early to meet us and prep our ceremony and reception set ups. We had full confidence that he had everything under control which is a real blessing on such a busy day! All of our dances went off exactly as we had hoped and we and our guests had a blast dancing the night away! We received so many compliments from our guests and heard multiple times that they had never attended a wedding with so much dancing! A few even asked us for his contact information to pass along. We were fortunate that our music style aligned well with Lee's own taste (indie rock and pop as opposed to more traditional wedding tunes), though he really took the time to listen and understand our interests so I'm sure he would have no trouble tailoring the music to any interests. Last but certainly not least, Lee is also just a super friendly and cool person to work with and made for a stress free and great experience! read more

DJ Luke & Remixologists the best ever AMAZING! Literally the best DJ I could have asked for. We had DJ Luke with us on our special night. From start to finish and all the days leading up to our wedding he was so professional, organized & pleasant to work with. I was never overwhelmed with the planning process, as he made it so easy to set up all our music for our special day. Our guests are raving about the music, and were on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. I've never been to a wedding where the dance floor was that packed and everyone was having THE BEST time. Thank you for making our day even more amazing!!! read more

My sister hired DJ Taiga for her wedding five years ago and all I remember from that was how much fun I had on the dance floor. So when it came around to my wedding, he was no doubt the only DJ I had considered hiring. Despite DJ Taiga being based in the East Coast, and with my wedding in California, he made the whole process so easy. He was always quick to respond via email, was super easy to work with to build our perfect playlist, and even took care of renting equipment from a local company. When my wedding rolled around, DJ Taiga kept the dance floor packed up until midnight. So many friends complimented me on what a sick DJ he was and how they loved all the music he played - some even told me they wanted to hire him for their weddings. My in-laws wanted to sing a family song during dinner and Simon took such good care of them to make sure it went smoothly. I wish I could experience my wedding all over again, just so I could relive the lit party DJ Taiga provided. Thanks Simon for everything! BEST. DJ. EVER. read more

We worked with Luke (DJ CoolHand) and he was absolutely amazing! I found a few songs on YouTube with specific arrangements for him to play and he made it so easy. We also had him for our ceremony and the cocktail hour and he understood what we wanted from the beginning. He was so helpful with choosing the right songs for the night and the party was lit. We had our wedding about 2 months ago as NYC was starting to open... and I have to say it was super easy to work with the team and they made sure everything was done right! They were also recommended from my best friend who had worked with Simon so I'd say, go with these guys!! read more

The Remixologists know how to do weddings. Not just the event itself, but the scheduling (and rescheduling due to COVID), coordination, responsiveness, etc. - they truly have it all. "Coolhand" Luke was our DJ for our wedding and he was the real deal. First and foremost, his professionalism was top notch, his announcements were clear and paired well with the songs, and his pronunciations were on point. When it was time for him to shine when it was time to dance, he did just that. Coolhand's transitions from song to song were what you'd expect from a top DJ, and his ability to read the room came naturally. My wife and I are already receiving inquiries about Coolhand for their own festivities and he also paired incredibly well with a saxophonist for the reception despite never having worked with him before. Thanks for being such an integral part of the best day of our lives! read more

We found Remixologists through a friend and were very pleased. Our DJ was Lee Garrett (DJ L'gitt) and the guy was legit. Logistically from start to finish, Simon and Lee Garrett were professional, responsive and accommodating especially during Covid. We had to postpone our wedding by 6 months and thankfully they had availability and willingly worked with us on the changes. We had a few virtual meetings with Lee for introductions and getting a feel for one another and to finalize details as the day approached. We could tell he is a master at his craft and a bonus, a great MC. He really is a two in one so don't bother wasting money on getting an MC. Lee was very receptive to our requests for songs and wedding day asks. Everything was on point in terms of timing and song selections. We weren't too picky with music and also wanted him to have space to show off his taste and experience in music and he didn't disappoint. Definitely recommend. Money well spent. read more

Hiring DJ Taiga Will Be The Best Wedding-Related Decision You Make. Full stop. I have run out of words to describe to family and friends how much we loved having DJ Taiga spin for our wedding in November 2017 in the Catskills. By the middle of the party, I had lost track of how many people grabbed me, just to say, "Your DJ is amazing!" Taiga possesses an uncanny ability to get everyone up and dancing, and keep them dancing for song . . . after song . . . after song. The only complaint you may get from your guests is that they won't be able to find time, amidst the feverish dancing, to go to the bar and get a drink. From a practical perspective, Taiga was an absolute pleasure to work with, from the day we hired him until the time the party concluded. He is incredibly organized, polished, and professional, and always makes you feel comfortable that he is on top of everything. Taiga even designed a custom mix for our "hora" (traditional Jewish wedding dance) that had the entire guest list squeezed onto the dance floor for 13 and -a-half minutes. He stepped in seamlessly on the day of the wedding, and took control of the ceremony and the party in just the way that we needed. We cannot recommend Taiga enough, and can't wait to figure out the next time we can host a party just so that we can hear Taiga spin again. Hiring him is an absolute no-brainer. read more

If I could give 10 stars to the Remixologists (and DJ Ben), I would. The Remixologists are not your standard "wedding DJ" - they are so much more. My top priority for the night (besides getting married) was to dance for 4+ hours on the dance floor...and DJ Ben totally delivered. He didn't blink when I showed him 50+ songs from the 80s and 90s that I wanted mixed in and he blended each song beautifully so that there was no dead time and each song just cruised into the next. He placed beats in older songs that I LOVE but aren't as immediately dance-able and they were subtle enough that the original song shined through, but kept everyone up out of their seats and grooving. The professionalism of the whole crew is also unparalleled. The DJ we originally booked was accepted into a musical grad school program about 8 months out from our wedding, and Simon reached out to us immediately with a solution, offering the amazing services of DJ Ben and organizing a FaceTime chat so we could meet DJ Ben and chat about styles and preferences. Simon and Ben were always quickly responsive with any questions we had and we felt completely taken care of and excited for the big day. On the day of, DJ Ben showed up completely prepared and professional - setting our officiant up with his mic, double-checking who was giving speeches so he could go over a quick rundown of the order with them, and absolutely NAILING the timing for our processional/recessional music. As soon as we sat down for dinner I was already dancing in my seat, ready to get up and start the party. I wish I had another excuse to book the Remixologists - my friends and family are still raving about the playlist and I'm still reliving all of the dance circles and conga lines from that evening. BOOK THEM - you will be so happy you did. read more
