I have used the space on 8th Ave for 4 years to hold classes and this is our first time using this…read morespace. I like Oxford Street better for the pricing and the overall feel of the space but it's confusing to get into the building if someone doesn't see you come in and buzz you in right away. I was fine but I had a few students get confused and actually leave. Teenagers aren't always socially confident enough to ask for help if they can't figure something out. The other space is pretty straightforward you get off of the elevator and it's right there. Also the other space has a small waiting area, at Oxford you have to wait outside which isn't conducive to cold weather. I would be more inclined to use this space in the Spring semester. They also have a rear courtyard behind one of the studios that could be fun in Spring.

Our band Foxtrax tracked our first EP "The Cabin" at Vinegar Hill Sound and we couldn't have done it without his help, or be happier! The Drums were not dogged and sounded great with Paiste cymbals and newer skins. The location is interesting but we parked right in front and felt safe. I would definitely go back next time. Everything added up including price, service, equipment and no bad experiences. This is one of the first times in a long time that we really had nothing negative to say about a rehearsal studio.

They have 3 rooms, all sound isolated and each with full kit, 2-3 nice guitar amps, bass amps, PA system, mics , stands cables, etc. A couple of the rooms have couches in the rooms and one has a decent Rhodes. $25-30hr. They don't charge extra for mics like other places. The guy Dan who is in charge of booking is super friendly and accommodating. Each room is bigger then the largest room at sweatshop for half the price. Not right next to the subway like sweatshop is but worth it for the extra size and value. About a 8min walk from the Grand stop of the L for those who don't have a car. I've always loved hanging out at the bar downstairs. Coolest strip club in nyc. Found out one night they have a rehearsal space upstairs. Didn't know what to expect, one of the girls took up and introduced me to Dan who showed me around. I've been to this location plenty of times for facial and hair appointments. I must sat entering…read morethe venue takes patience. You either have to press the button on the intercom or wait until someone us exiting the building. There are a few restrooms on the ground floor, however, you need to know the pass code in order to ultize them. I knew the code initially, however, it recently changed and I'm unaware of the new code. The building is kept clean and there are so many suites in total. It's imperative to know ahead of time which specific suite you are going to because you can easily get lost. There's usually no one around to ask for assistance to location your desired suite.

This is exactly the same kind of uncaring, condescending response I received initially & in line with my experience. & As with so much misleading information in this process, implying that we are liars or misinformed is easier than showing any empathy or accountability.
