Scheduled an appointment on the website to get a quote for some wildlife abatement services, which…read morethe website said they could provide. They were a no show, no call for the appointment, so I called the 1-800 number on the confirmation email. After a half hour of being put on hold and transferred around they got me to someone at the local office who was less than professional and merely said, "we don't do that." No apologies, no explanations, I was just obviously not worth his time since I was asking for a service they didn't want to provide. Cannot recommend.

Terminix was hired to do a crawl space remediation at our house…read more They tried to sell us pest control maintenance plans. We told them we were not interested in pest control plans. They added a pest control plan anyway. When they said they were done with our crawl space job. We hired a certified home inspector to inspect our crawl space. The job failed the inspection- substandard work. They charged for work that never existed in the crawl space. When Terminix came out to fix the incomplete crawlspace work, they charged us a pest control visit fee of $363.14. (This happened twice.) We have asked numerous times to be taken off the pest control plan, but the Terminix manager said," Well you signed it". We don't know what we signed because we never received any kind of explanation or itemized slip-even though the sales rep said he would email one. Don't sign their I-pads

We knew we had a rodent issue. We found a mouse two months back and was able to get rid of it…read moreourselves in a few days by shooing it outside. A second one came a few weeks later showing itself once in a while and started leaving its marks all over the place. After 3 weeks of trying different traps and getting frustrated with it outsmarting us all the time, we had to call in the professionals. Little Pest Elimination was nearby and had great reviews so I thought I would try them. They were able to accommodate an inspection the very next business day. They were thorough. They looked for entrance and exits where the rodent (or rodents) could be coming from. They gave me an honest assessment of the matter. I had to face the reality that the problem was bigger than I thought it was. And they explained the problem and what they will do to address it very well. They gave me an assurance and comfort that the problem will be taken cared of and they stand by their service. So I booked them for their next available appointment. True to their word, they had amazing service. They were professional, prompt and sealed up what they said they will do. I will definitely call them if the problem persists base on their word. And I will use them for their other services as well should the need arise.

I requested a general spraying of our home and Little Pest Elimination showed up on time and did…read morethe job in accordance with the quote. They also told me about areas around the house that we need to repair to keep rats out. They helped me understand what a I need to do to keep our home pest free. I will be using their service again.

Very pleased with the friendly and professional service, attention to detail on all areas covered,…read moreand information provided by technician very helpful. Thank you Eco Shield for the service you provide.

We were customers of EcoShield for several years. When we signed up for the quarterly service, we…read morewere told that rodent control was part of the service. We were also told that any potential points of entry for rodents to get into the home or crawlspace would be addressed upon signing up for the service. During our last quarterly service, we were told that there was a lot of rat activity underneath our home in the crawlspace. We had an inspector come out, and we were told it was going to cost over $2000 to remediate the rat problem. I asked why this issue had not been caught earlier during prior quarterly inspections, and why the entry points had not been sealed, as we were told they would be. The inspector said that the quarterly service only covers "trapping" of rodents. Again, this is not what we were told when we signed up for the service. We did end up paying $2300 to Ecoshield to have this problem addressed. However, we then canceled our quarterly service. I called multiple other pest control companies to inquire about their quarterly service options, and I was told several times that it was the "industry standard" to seal up entry points for rodents upon signing up for services. Multiple other companies also told me that my rodent problem should have been remediated for free by Ecoshield, as it was their inspection deficits that ultimately led to the rodents being able to cause such issues in our crawlspace. I also want to point out that Ecoshield's services have dwindled over the years. For example, about a year ago, they stopped applying products to control spiderwebs. Also, if you call them, you never speak to someone who is in the United States, and I found that in general, language barriers were always an issue when trying to communicate with them via telephone. Another thing they started doing, was asking us to tip the technician who came to our home during the quarterly inspections. I have no idea why they thought asking for a tip was appropriate. Altogether, I think that they are just another greedy company who will lie to you in order to get your money, and then will just do the bare minimum.
