Amazing company and people. They've come to my house probably more times than I can count and each time, they're so so kind and friendly about it. The last time, we had Brett come to our house to Dewebb it and he thankfully killed the live spiders we saw in my garage!! They called in advance but I spaced they were coming that day so they were only able to do the garage and backyard, but he left so many traps for me and put them all together! Brett told me where to place them and honestly these traps freaking work! It's scary seeing the big spider for me, but I'm glad it dies due to the stick pad. This company always does a phenomenal job. Highly recommend. Ps. I will admit, I was very frustrated with them at first because I swear I started to see the most spiders I've ever seen in my life. Well, I didn't realize their product is slow acting so it's environmental, pet and family friendly which I appreciate especially with having a newborn. After paying 2100.00 for mice in the crawl space blocking the entrances I still have them and they want me to wait a week for removal of 4 floor sticky papers of dead mice. Service area was Gig Harbor. I sadly paid for this service, in retrospect, for 5 years. When I realized that the service probably doesn't benefit much and most of the time do not address the things I had asked for (spider webs on outdoor back patio, etc.) it was time to cancel. I work full time as a surgeon and do not have the luxury to call during business hours to cancel service. I tried for 3 months when the opportunity arose but never an answer. I had quarterly service in Aug 2025 where I was charged 163$. I disputed the charge because the company MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO MANGE ACCOUNTS OUTSIDE OF BUSINESS HOURS AND WEEKENDS. I was unable to physically cancel this service. Of course like a poorly managed, immoral bunch of cowards who lack common human decency and empathy, they sent my balance to a collections agency in CA. I called EcoShield the next day to talk to the first line customer support, then her supervisor "Jax" who admitted that the lack of account control was not ideal but the internet and IT world is "ever changing". Never the less, I asked to speak with his manager who was not available, and was supposed to call me back that calendar day so I should "keep my phone line open." Would you believe that I never received any phone call. After discussing with my legal friends, they advised that there is little chance this will hold in small claims court and reimbursement for service cannot be held because of a poorly run business with poor principles and even worse customer service. So I paid the 163$ to rid of this headache. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMMEND NOT STARTING WITH THIS BUSINESS THAT (1) LEAVES VERY LITTLE MEANS TO HAVE AN OUT WHEN NEEDED NOR THE PLATFORM TO MANAGE ACCOUNTS, (2) LACKS THE DECENCY OR THE MORAL CHARACTER TO ACKNOWLEDGE CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION AND (3) REFUSES TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY. read more

After an encounter with one of their salespeople, I will never do business with this company and all my neighbors feel the same way. I clearly have a NO SOLICITATION sign on my door, as do my neighbors, and this clown completely ignored it. Made up some story about being in the area servicing a neighbor who doesn't exist. This is part of their sales tactic apparently. Google it and you'll see people across the country complaining about this tactic and how bizarre it is... because it is pretty weird. Tons of people on Reddit talking about similar encounters. I told this clown several times I wasn't interested and he continue to do his pitch instead of just leaving like a person with common sense would. Left me a card which I promptly threw away. Then he continues to patrol my street for HOURS afterwards (my cameras kept picking him up). No joke: four hours later he was still at it. As soon as a car would go down the street and pull into a driveway, he'd come walking down the street and pounce on them. I saw him going up to the same doors multiple times just incase anyone was home that wasn't there before. Great way to lose potential clients, morons. Corporate appears to be ok with this and is training them to conduct themselves in this way. Next time, I'll just call the cops for prowling or any number of things that fit the highly suspicious behavior this clown was engaging in. EDIT: Come to find out EcoShield Pest Solutions is a MLM scam: salesperson was probably conned by a trusted friend or family member to buy a bunch of this garbage product with promises they 'll see a huge return on their investment. Realizing it is garbage and no one wants it, dude is super "motivated" (i.e., pushy) to recover his initial investment. I signed up for a year to have my home on Hood Canal serviced. Near the end of our year we decided to terminate their services and notified them over the phone in a timely manner (even before their last service to us). They continued to service us after the year had expired and charged us for a service we did not request or contract for. Now they said we are late in paying their bill. I have called them too many times to count and asked to speak with their manager or owner. They would not even give me the name of their manager or owner. No one in authority will return my phone calls. The only calls I receive are from their billing department. From my perspective they have internal communication problems and choose to direct any adverse issue to their customer. I would not recommend them at all. read more

She didn't understand that she was signing a contract with a large cancellation fee, and she already had service from another pest control company, thinking this was the same company. Was great until we had a billing descrepentcy and they wouldn't speak to me about resolution. Just kept emailing and texting me saying that I was ignoring them and I needed to reach out. I have at least 6 texts and 4 emails telling my story and asking for someone to get back to me. After the collection threats started I knew it was time to cut all ties. I paid for a service I never received and cancelled my subscription. I was then inundated with texts telling me they wouldn't close my subscription until I called them directly to talk about why I was cancelling. Seriously? Someone talk to each other and look in a freaking file?!?! It gets worse. I call and they tell me that now is a really bad time to stop service because eggs were being laid yada yada yada. This company is the WORST. Customer Service is nonexistent. They don't listen to any voice messages you leave them. They don't read any emails you send. They don't read any text messages either. In the roughly 6 months I had hired Ecoshield, they never once had the ability to complete a service. There was ALWAYS something missed that someone else had to come back out to do, or some tool they should have had but didn't so I had to wait until "next time" and was assured the next technician would have the tool (they never did). Now that I have fired them, they are trying to charge me for services that were never completed. I have talked to more than a handful of Ecoshield employees and each one tells me they will make the request to have the charges removed from my account due to the number of ongoing issues I have had with them. But I never hear back. Most recently was Michelle Diola. Never heard back and I continue to get harassed for an outstanding balance for services never completed. Ecoshield imported the EcoAirDoctor badge from Japan, falsely describing it as air purifiers rather than pesticides, which would have subjected the entry to inspection by the EPA. In addition to falsely describing the nature of the goods, the entry documents undervalued the shipment by over $500,000, allowing the defendants to evade $33,919 in Customs duties. The sentence imposed required the defendants to pay restitution of $86,754 to U.S. Customs to cover the loss of duty and the cost of disposing of seized EcoAirDoctor badges. The defendants profited handsomely from the sale of the illegally-imported pesticides. At the outset of the pandemic, the badges, purchased for $6.25 each, were then sold to the public in the United States for $20.95 each, plus shipping. During the first six months of 2020, the defendants pocketed $1,132,950 from the sale of the badges, including sales occurring outside the United States. The Federal Trade Commission issued a warning letter on April 27, 2020, advising the company not to make unsubstantiated claims for Coronavirus protection, and on July 24, 2020, the EPA issued a Stop, Sale, Use or Removal Order. This company has been frequenting our neighborhood and harassing everyone. Their door to door salesmen will not take no for an answer, and continues to knock on people's doors AND WINDOWS (even looking inside), until they answer. They ignore "No Soliciting" signs, and when told no, get extremely pushy and even lie by dropping the names of neighbors they say they are spraying for (but aren't). One neighbor even has video of one of the salesmen walking into her garage and telling her children to go get their mom or dad. NOT OKAY. read more

We submitted a complaint to the city in late May after someone from Ecoshield knocked on our door to sell us pest control services (that we didn't need). They completely ignored our "No Soliciting" sign and did not have the required city vendor permit on display, two violations of the Seattle Municipal Code. Why am I not surprised when last night I was across town at a friend's house only to have Ecoshield come to their door doing exactly the same thing!? This company is horrible to interrupt people in their own homes, trying to sell them services, in a manner that is against city laws.
