I am a Realtor who sometimes needs to make referrals to clients for inspection needs. My client needed a sewer scope for an inspection request quickly. Pipe It Up met that need, however my client ordered a DVD of the scope as there was a low spot in the line. The techs did not have the DVD machine, then they went to get one, it did not work and they promised to come back and rescope. After 4 calls, now Pipe It Up does not return my calls and after paying for a scope and DVD, client does not have proof of the repair needed! Luther, with apprentices Ruben and Mike, figured it out, got a new thermocouple and installed it, all on Christmas Eve. I called Pipe It Up because a new cleaning lady pulled out the faucet on my tub too far and I was worried it would leak. I was told there would be no trip charge, which is why I chose this company. As it turns out, the plumbers assured me there would be no leaks and that they would have to rip out a portion of the wall between the shower and tub to pull the faucet back in. This would be a pretty expensive project and would involve getting contractors to do the repairs and re-tiling. I was then charged $89.00. I have called 3 times about this, have emailed and am really disappointed that I didn't even get a response. read more

We had an old style 3 handle shower valve that was slowly dying. Viktor from Pipe It Up came out to give us an estimate. The price was reasonable. He took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done and to make sure all of my questions and concerns were answered. He came out the following Monday and did the install. We had to break through the tile to put in the new single valve shower fixture and Viktor did this very precisely. I purchased the wrong replacement kit (it was missing the tub spout) and he went to Home Depot and picked one up. He was very conscientious and had a great attention to detail. Mark from Pipe It Up came out to my place with very short notice for a free estimate. He gave me a fair price to add some stop valves and to replace a spigot that had started to leak. After a little bit of work we discovered that the main water shutoff valve had broken and wasn't stopping water properly. He gave me another estimate for that fix and it was again a very reasonable price. He took the time to repair and replace everything and even cleaned up after himself when he finished. I hired this company to replace a garbage disposal and replace our kitchen faucet (same sink). They did this and it was not cheap. 10 days later we notice that underneath our kitchen sink is damp and has 1-2" of water damage under the sink (which was never there before). Then we discover that there is water dripping straight down from the kitchen sink into our finished basement. Water damage and paint peeling already visible in basement. I called Pipe it Up at 7:30pm on a Friday night (they offer 24/7 emergency service) and they said they have no one to come help us. They offered no apology or acknowledgment of the damage that was done to our house. We are going to have to hire a water damage company but I can't even get someone out here to stop the leak that they caused. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They say they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee but they do not stand behind this claim. After spending $600+ with this company, we are now left with thousands $$$ in water damage we now have to repair, a big leak under our kitchen sink, a kitchen we can't use, and Pipe it Up hasn't returned my calls since the first one last night. They referred me to a company that does not repair leaks, only repairs mold/water damage. At this point I just want them to fix the leak they caused but I'm still waiting for a return call. The pilot went out on hot water tank and Pipe It Up was the plumbing company assigned to our Home Warranty claim. Even though it was the end of the day both Chris and Ruben were very courtesy and professional. Chris got right to business and assessed the situation and diagnosed the problem and assessed the condition of water heater. He provided various scenarios and estimated cost which helped us make an informed decision on which course of action to take at that time. Chris was able to ignite the pilot light, however it did not stay on which he stated could and did happen. A day later the Home Warranty provider authorized the repair of the hot water tank, and Chris came out the following morning and assessed the problem and went on line to find the replacement part. He was able to find online at one of the big box stores and installed a new pilot assembly into older hot water tank. Due to the age of the hot water tank he emphasized the need to get a water sensor alarm in the event the tank starts to leak. CAUTION!!! Please take this as a serious warning before entering into a contract with Pipe it Up plumbing services. We contracted with Rashad and his company to replace the gas water heater in our modular home in July, as it was leaking and the floor underneath was rotten. We have recently come to find out that for some reason, they placed a water heater which was meant for a traditional home in our modular. This is apparently very dangerous and the substandard flooring they "rigged" has sufficiently blocked the carbon monoxide vent. The water heater also appears to be installed incorrectly. Save yourself the time and anxiety. Find someone else. Contrary to your response, I did not reschedule...no one ever showed up! And to my knowledge, no one has been here to assess the situation since it was installed. read more

Nightmare! The tech that they sent to fix our master shower faucet bent our pipes and left saying that he would return with a needed part. Did not return. Second tech/plumber came next day never disclosing to us then that he was the owner. We let him know of our concern that the first tech bent our pipe and the faucet now sat incorrectly. He put in a cartridge (the missing/needed part) but failed to grease it as is standard and necessary, which we discovered on Thanksgiving morning when the gaskets blew and the water could not be fully shut off. No water for 24 hours on Thanksgiving day. My husband called them repeated even before the blow out on Thanksgiving to please just fix what they broke. The offered a discount on a future bathroom remodel (which we don't even have scheduled)!! We just want them to fix what they broke/caused but, nope. They won't take or return a call and like others, they ended up costing us hundreds of dollars more due to bad work and an unethical work ethic. Go to their website and look at the one star reviews - we aren't the only ones with a problem with them and there is a definite pattern with the owner based on his responses - he is never to blame, it's always the customer. This company is AMAZING!! To put my situation in a nutshell I had a gas leak in the house I just purchased, I had a plumber come to give a quote to get it fixed and they said it would be $3550, and that I would have to be at my house for the city inspection that was required for the work that was done. I signed up for thumbtack to get a different quote. Pipe it Up came to my house at 7:30 in the evening to get me a quote. Luther arrived and was kind and helpful, he walked me through all the steps that the city requires after they lock your meter. He gave me a quote of $710 that night and started the work the next day. I had a large job that took two days of work because the need of the city inspector. I couldn't miss work so he was there to meet the city inspector, because there was more work that needed to be done the job ended up costing $1335, or roughly 1/3 of the cost of the original quote and Luther worked with the city inspector so I could go to work. Hire this company, tell everyone you know about them, they do good work, are honest people and they don't rip you off. read more
