The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a creative and relaxing day. Big Kid was so welcoming, and her mom, Squirrel Bait, was incredibly helpful when it came to guiding us through our craft creations. We were a large group, and they made sure everyone felt comfortable and had what they needed. If you're planning to make items out of clay, be prepared to spend several hours--it's a detailed process, but also very therapeutic. Painting was so relaxing, and the studio allows you to bring your own food and drinks, which made it feel even more like a fun gathering with friends. A large selection of items to paint for all ages! There is a studio fee and prices per items are reasonable. This place is definitely a must-visit and would be perfect for a Yelp event or any kind of group get-together. We're already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a creative and enjoyable experience!

This is by far the worst Michael's I've ever been to. I used to come here regularly for years with…read moreno issues, but something clearly changed--whether it's the staff, regional management, or both. The service has completely gone downhill. Employees are untrained and seem unsure of how anything works. I recently placed a pickup order, and the item was out of stock. At every other Michael's, the app cancels the items and refunds me automatically before I even arrive. Not here. This store waited until I got there, then treated it like a return--asking for the card I paid with and even requesting my social security number just to process it. Completely unacceptable. On top of that, I placed a curbside order and was told to go inside to pick it up. What's the point of offering curbside if I have to walk in? This location went from a 10 to a 0. Management is awful, and the employees are clueless. I won't be coming back.

We were told you would not fill them, even though we arrived an hour before closing and the store was completely empty. We were given an excuse about a policy that is not posted anywhere and was never communicated in advance. That refusal forced us to spend forty dollars on a helium tank we did not need. On top of that, your team told us we had to pay for ribbon, something that would have been included if the balloons had been filled by your staff. When we tried to explain how important this was, Brooklyn, the manager, showed no interest in helping. She had a terrible attitude and walked away while we were still speaking. It would have taken five minutes to offer basic customer service. Those five minutes would have made a huge difference for our child's birthday. Instead, we were left frustrated and scrambling. I will not be returning to your store. I will be taking my business to Amazon and other retailers who actually value their customers and make an effort to be helpful. Do better.

I'm sad they took away the canvas painting options as that was the reason we drove 30 min just to come to this specific location. My fault as I should have called first to double check if they still offered the canvas painting. This is the only location I knew of that did that. Oh well. There is a huge selection of pottery pieces to choose from. Prices vary pending on your selection. Came here with my daughter and she selected the cute little tea set. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the price at $54! But this is what she wanted so I cannot deny her happiness. Haha. I mean I can but I didn't know want to. It took me a while to find what I wanted to paint that was practical. We have so many pottery pieces the kids make that are just for decoration. Love when we make plates, mugs, bowls or any kitchen pieces as they are most practical. I chose the geometric vase! The vase was $37. There is also an additional $8/per person studio fee to use everything (brushes, paint, materials). This stuff can add up quickly. Our total was $117! Ouch. But fun and you can't put a price on fun experiences. Lol. Once you pick your piece, the staff will bring you a bowl of water and a paint palette. All brushes located at the tables. The you select the colors you want and put onto your palette and bring back to the table to start painting. We took our time and was here for 2 hours. But our pieces were meticulous. Ha. They also offer coffee here which is a nice bonus. Once you're done painting your piece, you can use the blow dryer to dry the paint, this prevents smearing. Give the finished pieces to the staff and they will label it for the final touch of glazing and thus completing the process. It takes about 7 days and they will call you when it's done so you can come back and pick up the finished product. Can't wait to see ours!

The only thing I don't like is there's never enough tables to accommodate everybody. We sat outside because there was only two of us. I am excited about getting my artwork. It'll take about two weeks.

It was closed, but I made a mental note. Normally, I shop online, hunt for deals, and can wait for supplies. But when I wanted to try out some high-end oil pastels right away, I struck out at big box stores and stopped by id art on a whim, with no big expectations. I was blown away. The place is jam-packed floor to ceiling with everything from student supplies to professional-grade paints, oils, pastels, crayons, brushes, and canvases you just don't find elsewhere. Yes, some prices are higher--as with most independents--but the selection is second to none. Best of all, the staff are real artists who know their stuff and genuinely care about getting you what you need. That mattered to me--I don't want to waste time searching when I'm ready to work. That day, I walked out with exactly what I was looking for, fast and easy. Since then, every return trip has been just as good. Check it out--it's worth knowing this place is here when you really need something.
